I didn’t see a suggestion box thread so I thought I’d add one. Here it goes…
1. Add H1 header tag to home page.
Yes, we can add a text block that contains H1. However, many users will not know how to do this. Thus, many users will never have H1 on their homepage which negatively impacts SEO. Another theme I use detects if the current page is the home page, and if so, it applies H1 to the logo and hidden text containing the site title and tagline.
2. Add an option to the blocks that allows users to select a header tag for the block title.
This will allow users to get H2 tags on the home page and archive pages. For the predefined templates, H2 should be selected on the home page and archive page blocks.
3. Include Alt tags in the images contained in blocks.
Every piece of media I have has an alt tag define for it. I would like these alt tags used. In cases where the alt tag is not defined, perhaps there can be an option to use the article title or the media filename as the alt tag.
4. Make it so that interacting with smart lists generates a distinct view in google analytics. I donât know if this is hard or possible but it would provide users with a great benefit in terms of page views and add impressions.
5. Make it an option that when a site visitor clicks ânextâ on the last smart list item, they are sent to a new URL we specify. This is a sneaky way to get views on additional articles.
6. Ability to select background images and a URL and target for these images for a category, page, or post.
7. Allow admins to use HTML in their author page bio.
8. Ability to easily embed Facebook comments in addition to regular comments. Perhaps FB comments and regular comments can be placed in adjacent columns, full width without a sidebar next to them? That would be AWESOME. Throw in Google plus comments while you are at it. Iâd pay extra for all of this. đ
I’ve tried a dozen themes. I’ve thoroughly reviewed all of the top selling theme demos on Theme Forest. Newspaper is in the top 3 themes I’ve ever used. I hope the SEO issues (1-3 above) can be resolved soon. Of note, a lot of the top selling Theme Forest themes have the same header tag issues.

Hi I have bought this theme along with the Sahifa theme.
I have to say for the magazine side of things this is way better and more powerful for layouts (very confusing) but i see wht it has to be to get the power!
However being a national magazine we also do “shop the look” and a variety of deals to sell products we feature in the magazine.
The problem is that the woocommerce integration is no where near complete, there is no shopping cart icon in the menu which is a woocommerce class that should be hard programmed into the them as with every other woocommerce them out there. so i am using the woocommerce show cart plugin which is not ideal to be adding lots of plugins.
The documentation for woocommerce integration is none existent and the sidebar selection doesn’t work properly.
I need to be able to create a beautiful store from with featured products and special offers with a nice big header that pulls out the latest reviews.
Also you demo theme has a different footer in the woocommerce page than in the rest of the site this is also something required as it won’t do it on my theme so not sure how you guys did it? maybe its a different domain?
Also when reviewing a product we would need a buy it now button in the final thoughts comment box next to the rating so people could click and go to the store product to purchase?
Anyway it all seems very very close to me and with a little extra working could definatley be the best theme out there for shopping as well as magazines.
I installed sahifa first and have this running at the moment but can’t make the switch as intended. Coule you let me know if there are plans to expand on the woocommerce side of the theme or not please so i can make relevant plans for a switch over.
I would be using 2 licenses for 2 sites but also have my wifes 2 sites that i would probably buy 2 more licenses for and switch those over too.
You guys really are onto something here as we all know that content is king and if we can run our ecommerce sites at the back of the reviews and blogging section it makes for a better website but we have to be able to create a beautiful shopping home page!

I’m using NewsPaper and I got a problem with the comments box. So I posted around 10 post that are reviews with rating and all of those post I cannot see the Comments section. So I try to post a regular post without rating starts and the comments box is showing now. After I decide to add the rating start to see if the comments box is still showing, and yes its still there.
So How can I find a way to add a comments section in my previous post ?

The theme has only that settings that you can find on post settings “reviews for product” – http://screencast.com/t/EhIl8iD3pRyB If you want an option for your readers to add a rating for article, you will have to find and use a plugin that allows to do this.

Hello, I updated my website today. Although I am still learning some new settings, I did not find the rating post option. Only thing I found was on reviews, but then it comes to reviews of products and not the post or page (content), right?

Hello TagDiv team and members,
I discovered that the Stars rating do not show on the smaller tiles of the Big Grid. So is there a way or a tweak I could do for it to show?
Also I want to max out the stars from 5/5 (0.5 increment in final scoring) to 10/10 (1 point increment in final score), if this would be possible and easy then I would probably go for it but if now, then I will likely go for the percentage.

Thats, the question: How can I move the botton article ad spot below the bottom share bar? I use the “from the web” kind of ad and its annoying that moves far below the article tags, share bar and even reviews.
You need to put in the correct code for *your* website, not the example you have shown above. use the “code generator” on the page you mention, and review the docs there on how to use it. You need to put in an echo element probably for your current page where the comments live, not the facebook page link you posted above(!).
That code is for THAT page on FB, not YOUR site. The href= needs to be a page on YOUR website.
Note the “code generator” which is intended to … guess what … “generate the code” needed for you to use the element on your own website.
if none of that makes sense to you, then you might want to hire a developer — or look for a plugin which would generate the correct URL for each post to put into that element.
so you would need to (per their instructions)
a) put the java SDK in your header
b) put this in your post template (so if you’re using post template 2, edit the post template file 2 in your theme root directory)

You would need to replace [your URL HERE] with an echo current page/post URL element — NOT the Facebook URL, obviously.

Google News will evaluate whether your site has enough original content, more than one editor, actual news vs goofy stuff like ghost chasers or pure advertorial/paid content. It can take 3-12 weeks to be approved. And they can kick you out at any time if your content quality drops (e.g., if your site is just cloned stuff from other sites or nothing but YouTube videos, they will not accept you into GN).
You also need to review the GN content/format requirements to ensure you meet them.

I changed the code and it works.
Now I still have 2 more issues:
1/ In the page with multiple categories, we can choose a Primary Category.
It will be nice that ONLY the one choosen appear in the title and not all.
For example here there are 2 categories in the title (there is Matos, Videomania instead of only Matos) :

Hi Emil,
We have even checked with disabling all the plugins and clearing browser cache but the Tinymce Advanced is not working. We also tried out WP Edit but thats also not working. Whenever a post is saved nothing comes up and also the preview is not showing up whatever is written inside the editor window. So our guess is that there is some problem with WP Visual Composer. Can you please check with our wordpress admin access?

I have three questions. Maybe somebody can help me.
1.) Head ad: I am using the amazon banner and disabled the mobile view. Unfortunately the ad is still displayed on mobile devices (smartphones).
2.) Unique articles: I am using the theme on my review site. I want to have unique articles accept for the top 3, 5, 10 area in a widget or sidebar. Because sometimes the best rated product is also the newest and I want it to appear also in the top list. Is it possible to activate unique articles on a page and only disable it for one specific widget or sidebar on the same page?
3.) I am using the call 2 action modul of visual composer. I can add links here and set them to target=”_blank” but there is no nofollow checkbox. Where can I set all external links in the VC Modul to nofollow?

Later i uninstalled and tried without the content.
Question : With the content included, the template appeared just like the preview template.
However, the template without the content looks very much different. How can i do it like the preview one?
