My theme seems to have vanished from WordPress. Why has this happened? How can I restore my previous set up?
As far as I know I haven’t installed anything additional.
I am in the middle of setting up the site and was working on menus.
The theme now seems to be available again because I put the Envato purchase code in again, but none of my original settings are there and I am getting error messages when I try to preview posts.

I’m having an issue where the “Featured” sorting option on category pages is not working.
For example, on this page: http://staging.consciousreporter.com/category/global-agendas/ (the password is “tcrstaging”)
I have added a number of posts to the “Featured” category, but when I change between the “Featured” and “Latest” sorting options there is no difference in the display order of the posts.
Also, is there a way to disable the “By review score” dropdown sorting option?

I update to the latest Newspaper version. Now my header and footer section does not display properly, I get code instead. In the header section I get this:

Is there a way to hack/somewhere in the plugin code to change the mobile theme to use 300×160 thumbnail instead? It’s the only thumbnail I’ve enabled in the theme. I found that activating all thumbnails on the theme generate massive files per post (I can post up to 10 product images when writing review posts)

Just to let you know that Newspaper 11 is not compatible with Disqus and is hurting your SEO by not showing comments.
I thought that with the upgrade to “Newspaper 11” TagDiv would solve this problem, but definitely it was not the case. If you have installed Disqus the preview post will give you a fatal error in wordpress (that I have already explained here).
But more troublesome is the fact that even if you sync the comments between Disqus and your wordpress data base, the Newspaper theme will not show them in the source code, meaning that if you run Newspaper and Disqus, to Google you have zero comments, although you have thousands off comments.
With “Newspaper 11” TagDiv says it is more fast and SEO Frendly, but what is the point if it hides half off the website content from google? I have 180000 comments and with Newspaper 11 Google sees Zero Comments!!!

In the last few days we have noticed an anomaly in the images that are inserted as a preview in google news feed or/and google searches.
Until now, the images in the google previews were always the featured images of the articles. Since we updated to the new WordPress 5.7.2 and to the Newspaper 11 version it seems that the images that are inserted in the Google previews are no longer those in featured in the articles, but a random image within the article. We would like google to preview the featured image as it has been until now. How can this problem be solved? Is there a Newspaper setting to set?

Anamaria, you stated that, “The footer template does not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend.”
If you review Socratease2640!’s screenshot, you’ll see they were first able to edit their footer cloud template with the tagDiv composer and after saving and going back to edit again, the option to “Edit with tagDiv Composer” is no longer there.

Hi, After I update a post with video, feature image and video preview is not being generated.
The post format is set correctly and we tried severeal video sources (youtube, Vimeo, etc).
It’s an important feature for us.
I also would like to know why isn’t the sticky video feature available on home page and pages. It works only inside posts pages.

on my staging site i have created some vimeo playlists with several videos. upon client review they decided to update the titles on vimeo so they are more user friendly. the titles will not update in the playlist element, they are somehow cached or stuck in the original state. i have used wp engine cache to clear it and did not work.
i tried putting on a new page in a new playlist and titles are not updating.
i went to my prod sit and tested it and the titles DID change.
how can i ensure this is fixed once we push staging to prod?
You guys have made it so simple to create a website, I really appreciate all the work gone into this program. My normal web repair person said the coding is way too complex to be able to help me so I need to go to you guys.So I’m hoping you can help me with a few problems I have come up upon while creating my new website.

1. The Maga menu. The alignment on the menu is wonky. I have tried messing around with it and even searched the topics on here, but no matter what I do the previews of the images on the submenu go off of the page.
2. Single post – when I click onto any post it will have the full post and if you scroll down to the bottom the next post loads and the next indefinitely. 3. I have a static page set up and have created a “blog homepage” so that anyone can click on it to easily see the most recent blog posts. Well I create a page using TAGDIV and once I save it, it loads another page and deletes all of the changes I have made and gives me an error I have included a screenshot below of the error I get when I reload the created page.

I currently have some adsence ads running but despite 50k real visitors monthly, we barely make $20-35 a month from these ads.

To Make more revenue we are looking to sell some directory listings to local businesses and take Banner advertising from them too.
I am looking for the best plugins or other ways of creating directory pages and listings with several categories with interesting and varied content (several images in listing, videos and reviews etc).
I can currently place Adsense ads using the theme ad-block, but I would like to sell banner ads to local clients So I need a good way to place these banner Ads in the theme, so as to be responsive and work on AMP and mobile theme and rotate (change) every minute or so, as well as have statistics. I can create images but the options are limited and they do not respond well,
Can You guys or anyone reading this suggest a solution that works and does not add code that causes problems, or slows site down or conflict with SEO or subscription popups etc.
PS currently I am using thrive themes for the pop ups, is there something better as Thrive seems to slow the site and mess up the page-speed and core web vitals?

Yes, the element is a ‘Text with image’.
Your solution is what I was trying yesterday, and it should work, but doesn’t.
When I go to Style, and edit any ‘General Style’ option (font size, line height, etc…) in ‘Description text’, nothing previews and nothing saves.
Note: my ultimate goal is to change the font size of description text.
When I go to Style, I am able to edit both the ‘Title Style’ and ‘Button Style’.
Any additional help would be appreciated.

Also sometimes the newest posts on instagram don’t appear on the blog for a few days, and then suddenly they are there. Can we somehow fix this so that they appear immediatly?

I’m trying to increase the size of the ‘description text’ size using the Composer/Style.
Unfortunately, none of my modifications are being previewed or saved.
If I type a new size, change the text colour, nothing happens.
Using the Composer/Style I am able to edit the ‘Title Style’ and ‘Button Style’; I am able to change the colour and size of that text.
However, I’m still not able to change the size of the ‘General Style’ description text.
Any help would be appreciated.
I’m still a relative newcomer to WP in general, and the Newspaper Theme.

If you check on ‘Review’ part (via https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/), the schema generated from the template still included.. It still show my review as ‘Product’, aggregate rating, SKU, mpn. I have turn off the option on theme panel, and want this part also removed on that post schema.
The schema i create with Rank Math have no issue so far.
Is there any alternative action to remove it? Thanks.

Few days ago, I have turn off the ‘Enable Article Schema’ since it brings a inaccurate to the article I reviewed. I change it with using markup schema, with custom schema.

It already show my new custom schema, but the previous schema from template [td-page-meta] still appear on this test.
