Sorry to jump in here and be a bother but if anyone that uses free hosting with share hosting is limited badly. Not saying you are using free hosting but even the cheapest hosting is limited with resources and you even spend a lot of time in the dashboard with in an hour changing stuff on the website and then shortly after that visiting your website and then hoping other visitors visit the site end up seeing that resource limit or cpu limit error. Been there and done that with free hosting and really cheap hosting. Free hosting you get 5% resources and cheap hosting you get a max 15% resources. When you hit the limits, no matter what you change to the max_execution_time should be at 300 and max_input_vars should be above 2000. You will still see the errors with those low end hosting companies.
Not saying you are on that kind of hosting but if you are, then that will be more likely a big problem even changing those settings. That kind of hosting probably won’t even give you access to change the php.ini. Just a warning from someone that used to use free hosting and really cheap hosting.

Then you need to remove the title’s padding to move it to the left:
You can do this with 2 methods. Either put this code in the theme panel->custom css
.td_smart_list_6 .td-sml-current-item-title {
padding-left: 0!important;}
Or you can edit the style.css file and set padding-left to 0:

Today I have updated my theme to 2.2, but shortly after that I realized that there is a problem with smart sidebars. The problem was that smart sidebars are going up more that they should. And first widget in sidebar was always hidden.
Then I have replaced tagdiv_theme.js with old js file from 2.1 and everything was working normal. Finally, I have found what is causing the problem and decided to share it with you, so you can fix it. If you want of course.
If you check row 5002 in tagdiv_theme.js, you will see this: td_affix_menu_computed_height = td_affix.main_menu_height + td_affix.menu_offset;
If you remove + td_affix.menu_offset and row 5002 become td_affix_menu_computed_height = td_affix.main_menu_height; then this problem is gone.

You will need a lot of customization for it and unfortunately the time doesn’t allow us to provide custom work. I suggest to hire a professional developer to do this for you as the theme doesn’t support rtl.

This is the default behavior of the theme. There is a limit of 55 characters tot the title, but you can change that from the files like in this example (i set the limit to 100) http://screencast.com/t/m6ARxAOaBH7

I’m using the smartlist feature (which is brilliant by the way) but it seems to be cutting off my Titles. Is there a way I can enable overflow to be visible and just wrap below like the normal titles for posts? I tried adding the “overflow: visible;” tag to the css but that didn’t seem to do the trick. Maybe I’m putting it in the wrong place?
Please let me know how I can fix this.

The visual composer had caused problem. Only the 1st two rows are appearing at the editor. The bottom rows and blocks have disappeared on the visual composer. On the website, everything is functioning. But because of the missing visual composer of the remaining rows, I’m not able to do any further changes.
I have tried updating to the new update, deleted the WP bakery and activate visual composer.
I have switched to the classic mode and found the following code. Deleted the top rows code, since there is nothing wrong.

I would stick with one of the major shortcode providers like bit.ly or even goo.gl …
we use our own YOURLS shortcode system which keeps the shortcodes local.
The plugin I suggested — one of many — does not tie you to ONE plugin service …
so for example — using your own local shortcodes built-in to WP:
◾Nice ID links – http://your_site/123 instead of http://your_site/index.php?p=123
◾Shortcode support (Ver 3.1): Place [shortlink] in your article where you want to display the shortened url.
SO, in this context you could edit the functions file for the theme to possibly put the shortcode where the shortcode would go.
You know — I don’t usually suggest add-ons for the TagDiv themes …
but *THIS* functionality would be an awesome future feature for the themes!!

We’ve installed (and love) the newspaper theme on our site. We’re currently under construction and testing and have come across a strange issue.
We link to other sites from both pages and posts, and in every case we use the ‘insert a link’ within the WP editor. We select the ‘open in another window/tab’ checkbox, but we are getting mixed results. On pages and some posts, it works as expected. But on other posts, it’s either opening the link both in the same tab as well as another tab (in chrome), or only in the originating page (in safari).
The only thing we can narrow it down to that we’re doing, is the issue seems to pop up when we use “Post Settings>Smartlists”.
Is there something we’re doing wrong or can fix via CSS?

Also please note that the theme doesn’t have rtl support included and I suggest to hire a developer or a freelancer to customize it for you, on this site you can find one which can help you in this regard: https://studio.envato.com/

I’m trying to change the highlight colour of the main menu selected item. I have found this post which partly solves the problem Black bar underneath selected menu item but for some reason my site is showing two highlights, one from the theme and a second from the CSS code:

As discuss with Lucian C. in 54 of July by email, the H3 style didn’t appear well.
“Pour sa dernière émission de l’année, Sylvain MIROUF nous a encore fait un tour exceptionnel !” is in H3 but appears like a normal paragraph.
Maybe you forgot to correct that in the last update! 🙂

Unfortunately there is not an option to have a different image on smartlist, the image is cropped at that size and it is used also on retina device.
