I’ve finally found the root cause of the missing content. External / custom caching.
Forced every cache to null and it works.

Newspaper shows a strange behavior regarding its startpage. If I change something within the theme panel/header section, for example changing the main menu from style 1 to style 10, changes will be saved for all pages – except for the startpage, where the style still remains on “style 1”. This also happened for a logo change I did this morning (the new logo appeared on the startpage after like 2 hours without laying my hands on it again).
Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known behavior?

Strange that the mobile version is all OK. I have no idea why it is so ugly on desktop. The featured image for the current post displayed in the block is 1280 × 852 the thumb settings for this block is 696 X 385. I’ve ran the Force Regenerate Thumbnails on several occasions, but it makes no difference on the matter.

Please try to set your smart lists according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/ (for smart lists we recommend to use single template style 5 for posts for avoiding the duplicate images).
Another possibility, in this case, would be ->
Duplicate images on smart lists usually are the result of using the Photon feature of the Jetpack. If you use this feature please disable it as it is known to cause issues with our theme.
If the problem is still there, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear your cache as other plugins could also conflict with the smart lists. Also, if you are using “strange” characters (!@#$%^&*/”- etc) in ALT tag, the image will be twice. I have added this issue to our list of fixes and in next major updates will solve this problem. Until we will fix this issue, please try to remove these kinds of symbols in ATL tag for better results.
Also, and last but not least, please use post template 5 when you are using the smart list for better results. For more information about smart list, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/

I suppose that your duplicate images appear when you are using the smart list on your website, true? In this case, can appear duplicate images when you does not properly use this feature. In style.css file says v.6.6.5, so I suppose that the transfer has failed. I will try again, but I have already tried twice. I hope it can be updated correctly, because it´s really strange. I didn´t have this problem previously.

It’s happening something strange with the post views count field (post_views_count) in some posts in recent days.
I realized that it is decreasing going to have a lower number of views than days / hours before. It is as if it had returned to zero and restarted again, but I’m not sure if it was because we have so many posts and many hits and I do not I caught any of them with zero views.
I also realized that some of the posts that had this problem are two post_views_count fields, but not in all.
Last week I did the update to the 6.5.5 version of the theme, but do not know if this may have influenced this issue.
What might be happening?

Hi,
Try your site with http://www.mysite.com or simple mysite.com without www in front and you will see that on one version the icons will be ok and on the other, they won’t be. This happens when because of the fonts used as icons. Please follow this topic to fix it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/ (make sure you copy the code from stackexchange, not the forum as our forum will add formating to the quatation marks and they will not work in php)

The import function won’t work properly from Newspaper to Newsmag because the selectors are different from one theme to another. For example if in Newspaper theme you have a background color set for main menu by importing the style in Newsmag this option won’t work. Some of the options will e recognized bot some will not be because of the difference between the css selectors.
The pages built with Visual Composer will be recognized by Newsmag theme as the shortcodes are the same. It won’t be recognized for example a block 18 because in Newsmag theme this block does not exist, but the commune elements will be recognized fine.
Also you will have to regenerate all thumbnails as Newsmag uses different sizes then Newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Before making any changes make sure you do a full backup to your current wp-install and the database also: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups This is a security measure, in case something goes wrong you can always get back to the previous version.

I have checked your website and saw the problem with the thumbnail. For some posts you do not have the thumbnail and is shown only the image.Please try to regenerate your Thumbnails with this plugin and check after if your problem is still there. This is very strange – on westbridgfordwire.com my Big Grid 1 has suddenly started to fail to resolve to the post when clicking any posts in the grid. The articles are accessible in the blocks below – but not from the gird.
I’ve tried other grids by deleting the grid and then adding through VC but nothing works –
I have however made the following changes to the site this week
Changed from Yoast 2.3.5 to SEO Framework (but three days ago with no issues since)
Ran Force Regen thumbnails (because trying to specify image dimensions and used Chris S speed tips magic code)
That’s all norther changes – any ideas? It seems the URL when clicking is my site’s home – westbridgfordwire.com not westbridgfordwire.com/??? – I have saved permalink again too in case this was it.

Not sure if this has to do with WordPress or Newspaper, but I noted a strange thing. While editing individual post setting https://gyazo.com/0e3d62f1f50b69054865e704547b8286 if I click on a different template and Preview changes and leave the page *without* clicking on Update, the new setting becomes permanent. To ensure it wasn’t due to cache, I went back and forth and seems like there is an issue. You may want to look into it. Thanks.

I suspect this strange behaviour of the theme that might be caused by interference between your untested plugins and our theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache, purge CDN file if you used and instal only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. The background is tested with our theme by default and works as expected.

I’ve deactivate wp super cache and post view counter works on mobile. Strangelly is i have another configuration like that only is newspaper theme and with wp super cache activated counter works both on desktop and mobile version!
