Hi, I have a strange issue with Newspaper theme – when I use WPBakery page builder on blog posts, the layout breaks and the part of the post built with the builder looks like ‘full width’ even with sidebar layouts. It looks like that:

In this case, smart list post layout was used.

On this full-width page I have another issue – when I try to use the 4-column layout in the builder, the page breaks and each block becomes 100% width, so I end up with one long column of images.

I have used WPBakery builder with other themes on many occasions and have never had issues like that – it usually is quite good at fitting things into any page and responsive. So I am at a complete loss.
I tried to deactivate all 3rd party plugins, but it didn’t help, so it’s definitely not a plugin conflict story.
I have the latest versions of WordPress and Newspaper installed.
And finally, I bought the license for Newspaper for my work project in October this year, but can not either register on the forum with the purchase code or add the code to my account – the system says the code is used with some other account.
So I am writing using my personal account that says that support for my item expired. However, I do have a valid for support theme and the purchase code for the site with issues described above.

What is tagDiv’s recommendation for the plugin?
And, sure thing it’s an ongoing process learning to run WP sites. It’s just strange that an almost fresh install of a “light and fast” theme with very light articles (50kB image per article), it gives 35/100 on Google PageSpeed Insights. Yes, amount and compatibility of plugins might affect, or web host speed. But I have read similar kinds of comments on the forum. I understand that you at tagDiv might now give the standard answer linking to the speed optimizing guide but I hope you are working on a more user friendly solution for the future.
Hello good, for about 3 weeks I updated to version 8.1.1 I’ve been seeing 404 errors related to the articles I upload to Google plus communities. The errors they show me are of the type .. Mydomain.com/article/post-1234 . But then when I go to the article published on Google Plus it is all right and there is no error … It only happens to me in the domains where I have Newspaper installed on my other domains where I use another template does not give me this type of errors in Google Search console. The excerpts will display content from the post. If the post begins with a link, the link will be displayed. A solution would be to set excerpts manually for the posts

I have the newspaper theme installed in my website for around 1 year.
It was working all fine, but then last sunday the theme stopped working and the page is all broken. Kindly check for yourselves – http://www.uppermag.com.br
I tried to reset the theme in many different ways, none worked. The strange thing is that when I go to customize the theme, the page appears fine, but even if I save it, it doesnt upload right.
I could upload images to show what I mean by that.
Does anyone can help?? Page was awesome on google and for the past 3 days we are losing a lot of rank… That’s urgent

To fix this problem, please check the following documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ Also, check your Modules/Blocks thumbs to be activated from theme panel, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ Also, after this you should regenerate your thumbnails using Force Regenerate or Thumbnails Regenerate.

Indeed there seems to be an issue with the thumbnails quality. I have used one of your images in a test using same thumbnail size, these are the result

There is a noticeable difference between the image quality. From what I can see the thumbnail is already created blurry

This should not happen, the theme does not influence the quality of the thumbnails. Please deactivate all plugins except them plugins, and clear all caching installed. Then regenerate the thumbnails again

The thumbnails will be recreates, and they should look better. If you have any image
quality filter added somewhere in the theme files or other configuration, remove it.

I want my slider revolution on the top of my home page for any device, but I can’t see it in my mobile version.
I use “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plugin.
If I do disable the plugin then, I see the slider even mobile devices, strangely.

I’m creating this topic because I have a strange problem for which I’ve not found a solution yet.
If you try to navigate my website https://www.ascoltieracconti.com/ you will see that the theme loads the original colors for Newspaper Demo (green and white) even if I changed the colors into Theme’s Settings with the ones you can see once the page is loaded (red, black and white).
How is it possible? I tried to reset the color preferences but nothing happens. It is annoying to see the original colors loading while I and my visitors wait for the real ones to be loaded.
Can you help me?

Hi,
The regeneration process will recreate all the necessary thumbnails needed for the theme modules. If you have regenerated the thumbnails and there is still a problem, please take note that the GD library is required to be installed on the server

You could check with the hosting provider if it is installed. Then there should be no problem with the thumbnails.
If possible please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it, if the issue is still present.

It’s strange! Try to disable all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case and check the results! Hi, I have a problem with the mobile theme on my tablet. The 3 top pictures don’t show right, the ratio is all wrong and doesn’t change to accommodate the different ratio of a 7 inch tablet as opposed to a mobile phone. It’s all good on my mobile, but on the tablet you can only see the top of the picture with just enough room for the title and that’s it. It’s strange and very ugly.
I don’t want to deactivate the mobile theme, because without it you get the sidebar underneath the latest news articles and I don’t want that.
I suggest using Let’s Review plugin. Only thing with other plugins like Let’s Review plugin is that Newspaper theme has been built up little bit strange and it’s kind of pain in the ass to get shown reviews scores (like stars) on front page post list like you see with wp-review plugin what they use.
All these things are clear!!! Well, I found the bug. Each time I change the value (border etc.) the composer create a additional code which has influence on the layout. It’s clearly a bug in the composer. You can have different css values, but the same layout. It’s pretty strange – please look at this major bug.

Try to clear all the caches and check the results. Maybe, you have a strange cache and that’s why you cannot see the new results because the older results will be displayed.

I am struggling with a strange issue. I have installed the theme but when i set the homepage in the setting reading section. It is still showing the old theme, Which I deleted already.

Single post page is working fine but when i set the homepage as the frontpage. It won’t work.
