I want to ask, why the favicon on my web does not appear when it was me setting at theme panel. Is it because I use SSL yes sir?
But strangely favicon appears only in wp-admin sir, does not appear on the homepage, articles, pages, etc.
I’ve also tried some of the favicon plugin at wordpress.org but just the same failed, sir? Please help.

Hi,
I’m running Newspaper theme on a new website (http://www.switchitalia.it) and I have a strange problem:
when a user register, the activation link that receive by mail is invalid.
This problem happens when someone registers from the signup/login modal. If i check on the DB, the table wp_users have the new user with an activation key, but there is no way to activate it.
If I try to register through wp-login.php the registration process is different: the user insert Username, email and password, and the account is immediately activated. I see that this process uses wp_signups table (which I think is part of buddypress).
I think that the problem is Buddypress related: if I disable the plugin the activation process is valid.
Anyone know how I can solve this problem?

I updated my website with the latest version of Newspaper and the same for the plugins. But now there is a strange things with thumbnails, they are too small, but only when I use 2 columns on the Visual Composer.
I tried to re-generate these, de-activate/re-activate plugins… Nothing works.

And when I use the same block but on 2/3 – 1/3 grid : here.

If you are having problems with the thumbnails on blocks, try deactivating all the plugins except Visual composer, and use this guide to regenerate your thumbnails – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ Then clear your cache and purge cdn files if you use it.

We have updated the Newsmag theme files on our staging site before going live. We have noticed that the padding / spacing in the body is off now, as well as the navigation is behaving strangely.

Unfortunately, until now, we have not faced with this type of problem, sorry! Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the most recent version of required plugins which come bundled with the theme. Notice that we do not have any bad reports in this regard, sorry! It is strange what you mean… Try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to provide more details about this regard, also, provide some useful screenshots so we can identify it and also, so we can replicate this issue if it exists.

I have a strange problem. Since I passed the site to https page speed shows
me these two errors on the individual articles and in the categories.
Remove the JavaScript code that blocks the view:

Before these problems were not there and the score was clearly higher
Nothing has been changed in the configuration and SpeedBooster seems to still work
and both scripts are in the footer…

You can try the regenerate thumbnails plugin like in this tutorial, and see if it fixes your issue – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ As for the image gradient you can change the style on the big grids in their settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/JOVQJKSEc If you still have issues regarding the thumbs, try deactivating all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and see if the problem is still there and if not, activate them one at a time to identify the one that could be causing this. Also please provide a link to your website so we can take a look if none of these suggestions work.

It seems there is a thumbnail problem on most of your blocks. If you are using a child theme try switching to the main theme to rule that out, if you have any custom code added in theme panel or the theme files please check that also. Then try regenerating your thumbnails using this tutorial here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ After regenerating clear your cache (very important) and purge cdn files if you use it.

We have recently switched to Newspaper 7 from Sahifa and updated our website for the new look. We have worked over the last 48hrs to address any little hiccups, and everything is looking good.
The only problem I have is when a user loads our website up, it seems to glitches, draws a green block across the screen that slides to the right and the page loads up correctly.
Gone through all the plugins and cleared the cache on browser and server and still the same problems.
Anyone know what’s caused this?

1)Please disable your untested plugins because it is possible to have some conflicts in your theme. Disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins which come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
2)This is strange what you mean. So, please notice that we do not have any bad reports in this regard, sorry! Our mobile theme does not go to download another file instead of the mobile plugin, sorry! I suspect this issue comes from your untested plugins. Disable all of them, clear all your caches and check the results.
3)Your image is not loaded as expected, sorry! Please try to load it again in your Media Files, clear the caches and check the results. This error appears because the theme does not know the source of your image and that’s why you get this issue.
4)Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. While using the well-known DBmanager plugin ( https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-dbmanager/ ) with Newspaper installed recently i had today a big problem. After simply using the optimize function, all posts and pages disappeared in my website (including in the admin interface). The menus too. I think nothing was “deleted” by the optimization (the size of the tables seemed the same, a bit lighter as they were cleaned), just WordPress was not finding / displaying them anymore. The admin interface of WordPress was still working normally.
Anyways, I had to use a backup to get everything back to normal.
With the previous theme i was using this plugin was working perfectly.
So, is there some incompatibility with this plugin ? Anybody else used it before with Newspaper ? I’m not sure exactly what happened, maybe this strange problem is not related to Newspaper.
What other database managing plugin could you recommend me (to avoid having to use PHPmyadmin) ?

Also, try to clear the server cache and if you do not have any access to remove this, you should contact your hosting provider and require them to do this and check the results.
