I tried all steps and not working for me. When active td_composer plugin is showed 502 error. always the same thing happens. I rollback for 8.6 version. When fix td_composer plugin i will update this theme.
I put my site in a staging area before doing the update because of all the errors people were having. I updated via ftp and updated all of the plugins with the new update. I am only using TD composer, not the Wp Bakery builder. My front page and menu is not workable – see screenshot.
What are people doing to get their sites working again? What plugins have people figured out is causing a conflict.

Hello, whenever I try to update Newspaper theme from 8.6 I get a critical error concerning “wp_booster” scripts.
I have already tried to remove and re-install the lastest version of TD Booster, TD Composer, TD Multipurpose with zero results.
This update is doomed for me :\
@gooma2 true many people have had this problem since update 8.7 (and 8.6 for some), largely due to the td composer (and now php 7.2 for a few like me).
Open the second block with td composer and under style tab, scroll until you see Pagination. From here, you can select whatever pagination style you want.

Although everything was fine a couple days ago, I noticed today that a couple of my pages are not fully stretched from one side of the screen to the other. I am currently only using TD Composer and used the “Hero” function. This is what my page looks like…

I’m having problems to use TD composer after the update. The text element is not working properly, I put the text and it’s not saving. I tried to deactivate and upload the plugin again, but still not working.

@acko_fon just delete td composer and td multipurpose plugins and replace with those that came with the theme version 8.7 in Newspaper>Plugins. But if it is a php 7.2 problem, then that we have to wait for an answer from tagdiv team.
Delete both the td composer and td multipurpose plugins and install the updated versions that came with the theme. Remember to clear website and browser cache. (Also check if your site uses php 7.2 coz I have seen a similar problem with my site and had to downgrade to php 7.1).
Well, that was a wild ride, but here’s the solution: Had to completely delete the old td-composer from my site and install the new zip in the 8.7 package.

Hi @Simion C. I tried to update to PHP 7.2 but I get only the header and a white space. The problem seems to be td composer and td multipurpose not working with php 7.2. Any solution?
I doubt there is, But it contains elements that can be found inside the td composer plugin when editing pages.
Yes, there are errors and I am assuming its coz you have not enabled the td composer plugin.
hi, I have all the plugins disabled (I use a copy in staging) I can see the site but not the admin part and “edit with TD Composer”. if I delete the plugin via ftp, I can enter admin

You can use any image you want as background. Then simply enable the parallax option. Rows can be stretched to predefined sizes or full width

For example lets say you have these 2 blocks (block + empty row + block)

The row in between can have a parallax image set, either use the full height as I mentioned above, or maybe use an empty space element in that empty row to control the height

Also there is a CSS tab on the rows, that can be used to make adjustments to the positioning. For example if you want to reduce the space between rows

After updation to 8.7, social counter plugin is not working even, it is not appearing in VC and in widget. To resolve the issue I reistalled theme and deleted all theme’s plugins. Reinstalled them from theme plugin page all are installed (though I deactivated TD Composer as I am still working with VS). But whenever I tried to install social counter from that page it shows “ERROR 504 – GATEWAY TIMEOUT” though all other plugins was installed from that place. Further, I installed it from Plugin –> upload. I installed and activated but still it is not appearing in VC element and in Widget.
Whats wrong. Is it mandatory to activate TD Composer for using social counter.

Thanks! But how do I add them as shortcodes in a post text? I tried creating my own shortcode for an info box element in the TD Composer but it did not seem to work
@epickenyan Yes I already tried to install the theme without TD Composer then install TD Composer but i still have 502 Bad Gateway error …

As you said the rest of the web site is working fine, the issue is only in the homepage. I’m not using any cache plugin or cdn. when I open the home page with the composer it returns a blank page with “empty column” and this error: Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
