I even didn’t install it, looks like it was installed automaticaly after i updated theme from 6 to 8.
And after i deleted it via ftp it appeared there again. I tried many times, but it doesn’t help, TD Composer and TD Social Counter are downloading automatically on my website.
And i couldn’t even delete it from admin panel.
The only thing which helps is chmod 600 for the folders with these plugins, but it seems it’s not how it should work.
Could you tell me how can i totally delete them, because of TD Composer my website stop working.

Is this an error with the latest update? As before I updated I didn’t have this issue.
If it isn’t an error how would I go about fixing this? I’m unable to find these specific links in my theme files.

At the moment there is no option for saving templates, unfortunately. Something like this may be added in future theme updates, but I could not say for sure when exactly this will happen. Please note that the tagDiv composer will receive more options and features in these updates.

Well that seems not to be possible, unless maybe with a plugin if there is one for this purpose. The link property that will cause it to open in different tab, is removed as soon as you update the profile. I found these topics about it

After further investigations it seems that this particular demo tat you have has a problem with the background ad functionality in the latest theme update. I have added the problem on our list, and it will be fixed as soon as possible. As a quick fix I could provide you a code that should make the background ad work, in theme version 8.
Please update the theme and enter this code in the Theme panel->Custom Css

I have updated to Newspaper8 from 7 and now all pictures in every page (not in posts) are full width screen and I select a different size in the visual composer as I have done always but it’s not working.
I have tried to delete the pics and add new ones but same issue happened.
Any idea?
I have updated to Newspaper 8 and am in the process of editing all the pages on my site with the TD Composer. A little extra unexpected work but no big deal. The problem I have is with all my posts, they are all ruined. I have extra content like podcast episode players, t-shirt images and slideshows, revolution slider elements, image gallerys, extra TD-blocks for other posts and categories; and none of these can be customised using Visual Composer because anything that is in the main post is HIDDEN by the sidebar! The main content of the post sits under the sidebar and is all measured incorrectly! I have tried removing the sidebar completely and you can see the entire post but this is obviously not an option! Surely you guys can add this functionality to the theme? The VC elements still work, they are just measured incorrectly on the page! If I could reduce the main content by 30% it would probably fit! Any ideas or suggestions?

I am getting the following error in both cases (manual or normally):
“XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://216.172.184.61/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=8.0. No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘null’ is therefore not allowed access.”
From my rudimentary googling it looks like this is indeed because I am trying to update this website w/ localhost before moving the new URL … it looks like I can use CORS to fix this but also looks like it is beyond my capabilities to implement (and may not be possible since I’m using shared hosting).
I don’t suppose there is an easy fix?

I’ve updated the theme via FTP. I do have a child theme (provided by tagdiv), but activated the parent theme, to bypass any modifications. Also, there is no custom code in the theme panel. I’ve also disabled all the plugins, but had no luck with the background ad link in v8.0.
The link is working fine with the 7.7.1 version and all the plugins and child theme activated.

Check any custom code you might have in the theme panel related to this, or in a child theme. I have just tested the background ad in the version 8 and it is working properly. So it must be something in your case that is interfering with this function.

I recommend you to make to make a full backup to your database and then, update the theme to the latest theme version which is 8.0 via FTP way and check the results. Clear all the caches and purge CDN files. If you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files, you should remove all of them and leave just only required plugins to be active and check the results. At the moment there is no possibility to filter the posts by taxonomy. Maybe Additional options in this matter will be added in future theme updates, but I cannot say for sure if or when this will happen.

Due to an oversight, it seems that tagDiv composer was not included in the list of permitted plugins. This will disable the Speedbooster. We will make the necessary modifications in the next theme update so it will not be inactive when the tagDiv editor is detected.

wp-admin > newspaper > theme panel > background > mobile-menu / search background. (also in the sign in / join section below it)

I run several sites on Newspaper. When updated to Newspaper 8, site asks me to re-activate and (additional step) setup different support account to each activation key. Can I have keys assigned to my “main” account I use for support?

I’m having the same problem. Currently I’m using wp 4.6.6 y theme 7.4. While I’m going to update both to the last version I want to solve this problem first.
All of a sudden all sidebars disappeared. I rebuilt them and it was ok for a short time. A few days latter it happened again plus the backup plugin was unable to work as the path has been mysteriously changed.
After this episode not only the sidebars disappear but all customization as well. The problem I have now is that while I can change the theme settings and they seem to be applied as soon as I refresh the page they are gone.
Any idea please?

I’ve tried to remove the mobile style.css from the speedbooster, but it doesn’t work. The custom css that Amit has proposed to remove it works great. But its a momentaneous solution that works until you will change the file.
So, is it possible to remove it forever? I’m asking this because that effect is bad for who have a slow internet connection, the reason is that when you are loading an article you can’t see the content (text) until the css is completely loaded or the animation ends.
Right now I’m trying to delete all the Newspaper files and upload them again to see if something changes.
Update: After that i’ve uploaded again all the files of Newspaper theme the problem is still there. I’ve also deleted my custom css in both sides, desktop and mobile, and removed my personalizzation from mobile theme colors but nothing changed. My child style.css is empty and i don’t have applied any customization to the originals css files. I’m not using a cache plugin and i’ve deactivated all the unnecessary plugins to see if there’s some of them that interfer with the theme’s functions. After that i removed my custom body css class to see if was that to cause the problem, but again the issue was still there.
Maybe in the demo you customized something that block this damned animation?
