After the update, mobile theme is not working properly in mobile.
Issues:
No thumbnails (asking to enable thumbnail which is already enabled)
No footer widgets which was earlier
Website logo is disappeared
If I network activate the mobile plugin (plugin not working after that- cant use the website)

As newspaper got updated to version 7.3 we need to announce that it will not be backwards compatible with older versions of Visual Composer. In order to use version 7.3 of Newspaper, you need to have version 4.12+ of Visual Composer. If you use an older version of the plugin, after updating your theme please use this guide to update Visual Composer as well: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

I got the feeling, that the CSS file is getting bigger and bigger. In the new version it is 712 kb. It’s really a monster compared to other themes e.g. Sahifa. It has around 200-300 kb.
Isn’t it possible to add simply these things, that I really use? If I’m using only Header 1, I don’t need the rest in my css. Just an example. Sure, I can go through the whole big file and delete it by myself, but with every update the changes are gone.
Are you planning to slim down this CSS monster in the future? You know, Google loves speed and every kb is one kb too much.

I have added your suggestion to our list of improvements. In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements, and suggestions to implement. Itâs hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though.

Hi,
We are using newspaper theme.
We have changed domain name of site and also updated urls in database.
But after that, all settings that we did in newspaper theme panel are disappeared/lost. E.g. Font size, advertise, logo, social share icons in header and footer.
My previous domain name was deshdoot.cloudapp.net and current is http://www.deshdoot.com .
In database wherever we found old url we have replaced with new url.
Can anyone help me in this issue?
Also, Do we need to revert back database changes for theme? which tables?

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using an older version of our theme. Please try to update it to the latest version of it, Newspaper 7.2 with Visual Composer 4.12 and Social Counter 4.1 via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the theme which has included all the required files and required plugins. -> Newspaper 7.2 and Visual Composer 4.12 and Social Counter 4.1. Please notice that the Visual Composer is part of our theme and the license of it come bundled with the theme packet and you will not have to buy any license for it. The update of the theme has been made only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Please make sure you have the latest version of the social counter and the latest version of the theme. FIrst update your theme by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ then update your plugins social counter and visual composer using this method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
After you do so, please switch users for these elements and try a different public one like ‘cocacola’ for example to see if the info is being pulled. Then if the info is there switch back to your own id’s

Please notice that, at this moment, these are the Google Fonts which are available in our theme. Perhaps, in future updates, we will improve this list through adding another google fonts but we cannot say for sure if this will be implemented or not because it depends on developer’s decisions.

Thanks for the prompt response. I can understand that this is a hard task but these small things could make the theme more valuable. Why not you consider these things in your future major theme updates or i should assume that you people are not going to give any major update in future.

Just updated to the new 3.1 version *from 3.0) and my site, pavlikeni.com, got messed up! It seems it got hacked (hijacked) in the process. All I did is use the Envato toolkit in my control panel. What happened? There is always a problem the past 2 updates. Please restore ASAP. You have my admin info.

the materials are not going to the second page of my site, that is, I will publish new content and it goes out of the first page and will not appear on Monday.

Accessing the second page I realized that the last matter is there with a month publication date ago. Also the values of my social networks are different, the main page appears already updated while the second page appears a few weeks ago!
The feeling I have is that from page 2 the content of the page was frozen, someone had a similar problem?
Figured it out… I had to manually update the Visual Composer.
I received an email from Envato saying that there was an Update available. I proceeded to update as in the past. Logged into my WordPress, selected a new theme, then deleted the NewsMag theme, then uploaded the updated NewsMag theme’s zip file just as I have done in the past, and then disaster struck. Everything was working fine previously running WordPress 4.5.3. Anyone else experience this problem? I am in need of some serious help, my site is not working and it’s a disaster…. đ
Also, I can’t Add or edit the Big Grid slider… It’s saying it’s there from the demo in the edit page mode backend but when I update page and view it, it doesn’t show up.
I installed the latest Visual Composer V.4.12 and of course updated to Newspaper 7. For some reason, when I add the Newspaper demo, I can’t edit anything. I can’t add any new TD blocks, they don’t show up at all, in Visual Composer and even the demo blocks aren’t editable for me, (Title, Color etc…)
Any idea why that is?

I believe the theme probably want to include all the available Google Fonts, of which there are 802 now. (It was probably 732 when the theme was first developed.
It is such a simple thing to do, so I hope we see it in following updates.
