Sorry for the confusion but as you can see from my initial reply I was referring to the newspaper theme not newsmag I somehow wasn’t aware and wrote about the newspaper theme for which in it’s latest update which was a major one we the grid has been redesigned and it’s width change from 1170px to 1068px.
Unfortunately for the newsmag theme there is not easy way to do this, changing the grid’s width is not an easy job and you would need lots of custom modifications for it. We don’t recommend altering the grid but if you really need this you would have to get a professional’s help and ask him to do all the necessary modifications and testing in this regard.

There are not working. The counter stops and shows an example of 8 hits. Google Statistics show more, much more. Bad display on the update subject. Maybe it’s the plug wp-cache? What is the best to use to plug the cash side?

@Sid The theme already has schema.org markup added and you don’t need to use a plugin for that. These errors: http://screencast.com/t/TjjwQq1SfLf are due to google’s testing tool latest update and they will be fixed as soon as possible.

I’m trying to update some ad tags in Theme Panel – Ads but the changes I make are not actually SAVING. I press the button to save changes and it seems to work, but if I leave the page and return, the old tags are still there – the changes aren’t actually being saved.
Is this maybe a file permissions issue? If so, which file exactly needs to be CHMOD and what value should it be? 777?
I have just updated my theme to Newspaper 6. I want my home page posts and posts to be displayed as it is on the classic blog demo. How do I achieve this?

I ran the update and followed the guide but that was the result.
I updating my themes to 6. First off all i do all backup and import settings… after that i install Envato Toolkit plugin and update themes in it.
All ok, but after updating i have a messege:

I am download new Newspaper and copy td_social_counter.zip to the my host in themes/Newspaper/includes/plugin…..but it don`t help…

It looks like the post view counts all reset to zero when I switched to newspaper theme.
Could you please let me know how to update the theme view count so that posts previous views can be used in the popularity ranking ?

I believe the next update to theme will address some issues with Google’s latest rich snippets testing tool.
I would likely first test one of your posts with the Google rich testing tool to see what the theme ALREADY puts in there for you.
Note there are issues with that plugin, which has not been updated in nearly a year.

For those who may have had a sudden white screen of doom, this may have been caused by the often buggy new version of YOAST SEO.
They have issued a PATCH today (July 22). If you updated this week, you will want to get the new version out today.
(HINT! never update YOAST to their new version the day it comes out; wait a day for inevitable patches so their fu*k ups don’t crash your site!)

It’s just jumping to bigger version of the image.

Please make sure that after you update the theme, you also run the import script to import your settings, rename the shortcodes like it is specified in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Also please update the plugins that come with the theme’s files.

Sorry for the delay, but we answer at the oldest topics first, and because you’ve update yours it has been moved up and we’ve missed it. When you set a background image from theme panel, the theme switch to boxed layout. Your site it’s full layout because you don’t have a background set. Try to set a background color and check if your background is still cut. You can add it here: http://screencast.com/t/qMYTWRByH
Also note that we haven’t tested the Wp Background plugin so the theme could not work well with it.

The news ticker it’s not visible because it’s empty, appears on the page as block but doesn’t have any content, http://screencast.com/t/25hvyjrwF You can try to delete and insert again the news ticker and see how it works, also empty the cache.

Unfortunately if you use version 4 of the theme you will have to try that modification as the latest version of Social Counter provided with Newspaper 6 will not work with old theme. So please make sure that you use version 2.1 of Social Counter like I suggested above and replace the code. Or you can update to the latest version of the theme as I have checked your instagram id and did not found any issues – http://screencast.com/t/wfL8ctu3D

I see, unfortunately we haven’t taken any decision on this yet so I still can’t provide an accurate answer on this other than your request will be reviewed. We have over 200 feature request at the moment so we have to pick very carefully what we implement into the theme.
