Hi,
1.Please provide more details and some screenshots to understand what do you mean.
2. Please use this custom css for titles: http://screencast.com/t/PpDqMdYas
.td_mod_wrap .entry-title a:hover{
text-decoration: none !important;
color:red;
}
Also replied here but for all links: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-styling/
3. An alternate solution to display “Latest Articles” would be a block to display them:
http://screencast.com/t/geiG1TUvEFux
http://screencast.com/t/Wl8nOauLcQf
http://screencast.com/t/j4zSXxMAAbsZ
Or you can use Infinite Load and show Load More button after x pages: http://screencast.com/t/asRKs5uZ
4. If you are referring to the Latest Articles you can translate it from Theme Panel > Translations: http://screencast.com/t/P4S1HbtrBaju
Please provide a link and a screenshot if this is not what you mean.
5. You will need custom modifications for this, we would have gladly made it for you but we work very hard on the updates and features for all the users.
Thanks!
Hi,
First please make sure you also test this without any plugins active and leave just Visual Composer plugin active together with the speed booster plugin and also empty cache then check again.
This could also happen when using the speed booster plugin as this plugin moves the css and js automatically to the bottom of the page.
I have also tested your site and haven’t noticed this behavior. Please let me know if you still experience this and make sure you update the theme to the latest version and also update the speed booster plugin then let me know if you still have this issue.
Thanks
Hi,
The “pick and drop items..” issue was reported when using an older version of the plugin together with the latest version of WordPress (4.1).
Please make sure that you download and update your theme to the latest version (4.6.1) and also remove and install the VC plugin from the /plugins folder which came with the theme files, use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
This was tested so you shouldn’t have any issues.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme doesn’t use cache. I’ve checked your site and noticed that you use an older version of the theme so please make sure you update it and check again.
Please also make sure that you don’t have any host cache.
This could also happen due to browsers’s cache as Chris stated. Other plugins could also cause this although I doubt it.
I suggest you update your theme to the latest version (4.6.1) then empty cache, purge files, deactivate all plugins then update a post and check again. You should also go trough W3 Total Cache settings and make sure you have it configured well.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
We will provide you an update of Visual Composer when Newspaper theme will be updated. Till then please ignore the update message for plugin.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-update-visual-composer-2/
Thanks!
More update: this is also NOT a unique situation specific just to my machine. GTMetrix, Pingdom, Google’s Page Insights and other testing tools are also not displaying the icons.
Screenshot proof: http://i.imgur.com/88OBpRe.jpg
Please advise.
* also, if you would allow editing of posts in this thread, then I wouldn’t have to create multiple posts every time I find something new. Just a thought. 🙂
@Ljubi B.
not sure what you mean?
You haven’t posted any topics to this forum, so not sure what “false and stupid” answers I’ve given you? I think over the past 14-15 months I’ve provided more helpful answers than anyone on the TagDiv forums.
However, your mileage may vary, as always.
Sorry if I didn’t help you. Free advice is just that.
My answer to your question on the hit counter, for Newspaper, for example, was neither stupid or wrong.
My answer to why your theme panel didn’t have responsive option in Newspaper after the 4x update was correct, as you had not read the changelog to see that responsive option has been removed.
Also, one of your support posts was:
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?
So… not sure what you’re on about. I’ll try not to help you at all in future, since it’s unwanted. Not mad, just perplexed.
In the context of this thread, WP Rocket and TagDiv Speed Booster are two totally different things, hence my response and observation, and answer based on my own experience. I have not used WP Rocket, due to problems I’ve seen with other folks using it, and also because we can run most of those optimizations ourselves running our own server, so don’t need a commercial plugin for that.
So, the “what do you think is best” answer to THIS THREAD, isn’t the same for everybody. “The best” may vary by server and how much time one wishes to mess with things.
Cheers. Sorry to anybody who thinks my help is “stupid or false.” 🙂 I’ll try to cut back on that.
Unfortunately, that really isn’t an option for me. It adds a layer of complexity that isn’t welcome. I don’t want to have to “manage” updates as it will distract from creating content.
Hi,
Ever since I installed the template on my site (http://allaboutoccult.com), WordPress keeps telling me to update Visual Composer. But I can’t without the License Key. What do I do?
You keep saying you have no problems on your websites etc. How did you get yours to work? The post grid is only supported with the newest Visual Composer which is not provided by the Theme at the moment because they have not updated it yet.
As I told you I don’t know what you think of me but I tried the theme on a clean WordPress INSTALL with the plugin Visual Composer and still doesn’t work. I did that to see where the problem is – it looks like the problem is from the theme.
Hi,
I updated my theme to the latest version and now I have 2 css bugs that I can’t fix.
Megamenu should be: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26399544/menu.png
My megamenu: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26399544/menu1.png
Related posts should be: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26399544/posts1.png
My related posts: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26399544/posts.png
Any idea?
Thanks.
And keep in mind that since Disqus syncs with WP comments, the counter can take an hour or so to update after a new comment is added. Also make sure you’re setting Disqus to work on all posts, not just new posts are posts with comments closed.
UPDATE: I have tested your theme with a CLEAN install of WordPress only with visual composer. The POST GRID does not work as it should be so the problem is from your theme – please don’t give me the usual crap or tell me otherwise the problem is from the theme.
Hello again,
I ran the SQL query to update the shortcodes, nothing to update…
The issue appears to be with the “Homepage” template.
I was able to recreate it creating a page from scratch and using Block 15. And there it goes again. Overlapping content as in the image posted earlier.
Any ideas?
My Visual Composer is not working anymore when you try to pick and drop items. Last time i noticed it was because of the update. How soon are we going to get it?
That makes sense 🙂
I really missed that and I just assumed that the demo was updated!
Will make the changes and confirm!
Thanks Chris!
I believe, as noted in the docs, that some of the shortcodes used by visual composer changed, and you need to either update the codes – or redo the layout for those affected sections.
If that is not the issue, then apologies for the comment. I had something similar happen and it was due to the shortcodes changes, so I just redid the affected modules on home page then it worked. 🙂
Not sure the “demo” pack is updated to the latest version of the codes. Maybe try this with your own content?

Hello,
Since the last update I’ve experienced some odd issues regarding some blocks.
For instance, Block 15 seems to show in white characters other posts and the block title overlaps the content itself.
I’ve done a clean install, cleared browser cache and nothing seems to do the trick.
That is the demo that you guys provide for testing purposes.
Could you please advise what is wrong and what I can do to fix it?
Theme is working perfectly with my install of latest WooCommerce.
Known bugs are the sitewide top banner message from WooCommerce (e.g., “we’re closed today”) settings can cover the top menu bar. Likely some custom CSS to push entire page down the 50px or whatever would be needed if that message is used.
One other oddity, was the columns fitting when sidebar active. I use sidebar left, and I had some custom CSS from tagdiv team to fix for iPad portrait.
NOTE: this bug still appear in the site demo, where sidebar is on right …
the third item in row of shirts in demo drops to second row and “runs into” the first item on second row, pushing it to right. The main item info also drops below the featured photo, vs showing to right side on the actual product page.
This was supposedly fixed in the new update, but I note the version on the Themeforest demo does *NOT* show the updated CSS fix.
Ok. I have found. The problem comes from the plugin WP ROCKET, a cache plugin. Even if i desactivate it, the problem remains. But if i change the settings of the plugin, the theme works fine.
This plugin is really s… !
Thanks
(ps: if you have the answer for visual composer update…)
Thanks.
I am trying to update some plugins but i cannot do it for visual composer. I am on 4.3.4 and it tells me that the 4.4.2 is available for donwload but i miss a valid key.
I have entered my Envato user name but i cannot fond a key for visual composer.
Ah, well that´s too bad. However the fix seemed to cure the issue for now.
Let´s hope you figure out the actual source of the problem till a future update then 🙂
Hi,
I have checked your site and found that not only megamenu doesn’t work, also pagination and search( based on ajax). You also have error in console.
Please try this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active and also make sure you empty cache/purge files then check again.
Please also note that I have also checked this using the latest theme version (4.6.1) and found no issue so it should work in your case also, make sure that you also use the latest theme version and if not update your theme(use ftp method): https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
Thanks!
Latest version. I always keep it updated.
Maybe I am putting my child theme copy of td_module_big_grid.php in the wrong location?
Hi,
Unfortunately there’s no option in the theme for that, sorry. We plan to modify it in a future update, we’re in the planing phase looking for the best solution.
Thank you, Emil G.
