Any update here ?
Hello,
The mobile version of my website in the Bluehost customizer is different than the one I have created in WordPress, and some pages, such as product category pages are taking the old incorrect one from Bluehost. It’s also creating cache issues – sometimes when I update a menu item’s url and publish the changes, suddenly the mobile version of the site uses this “Bluehost” version.
I cannot change the version in Bluehost. Bluehost support tried but couldn’t resolve the issue, and told me that it’s likely a problem with the theme, and that I should contact the developer.
How can I get the mobile version in Bluehost customizer to match the correct one, including headers and footers, I have created with TagDiv in WordPress?

Can we have a setting (so we don’t have to mess around in code and change it each update) so that we can remove the “theme support” from the admin bar?
95% of the time people will not need it as their site is already launched, so it would be good if we can disable it and free up some admin bar real estate ;-).
Hi Bettina,
That’s the one I’ve been using, but since pages are cached unless they are updated the date becomes stale.
Do you have a JS code that can be inserted there that shows the date of the browser/device instead as it will stay up to date and then it won’t matter if the whole page is still cached worldwide.
okay. Could you keep me updated as soon as possible given that it’s an annoying pagination problem!
Hi @bettina !
I use Wordfence..so I set it to Learning and even deactivated the plugin temporarily, purged and still it didn’t work.
I also double checked Cloudflare – Rocket Loader is set to off.
🙁 Hitting Edit content opens opens the window, but the editor does not load. It was working I think till before I updated. This is the first time after the update am trying and it isn’t working, so not sure what happened there.
yeah, you were right, after purging the cache, it worked. Now, this version of Ultimate Member comes with a beautiful critical problem:
* The Plugin “Ultimate Member” needs an upgrade (2.1.5 -> 2.6.2).
Update includes security-related fixes.
Vulnerability Severity: 10.0/10.0 (Critical)
so, PLEASE!:
– Recommend an ultimate member alternative that has been tested on the theme, or
– Fix the mega-menu compatibility https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ultimate-member-2-1-6-theme-menus-breaking-changes/
Thanks!
Hi there,
can you please update the button element, that we can also add title=”” in there? It would be extremely helpful for usability.
Thank you!
Hello @shamusmahmood !
We do not have any option for this in our theme. Probably you have some settings for that. We recommend you to have all the tagdiv plugins installed and activate, also up to date in order to have access to the new features and fixes.
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello @iamcertifiable !
Actually, we have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to disable the Mobile Theme plugin.
You can choose the mobile version and the menu you want to use. By default, we use option 1 for mobile, and you can customize it from the tagdiv Composer.
Thank you!
Was working fine as I rolled out several blog posts. I took a break from content and did some updates on ad placements and some other theme settings and now when i try to create a blog post I cant change between standard and video post format
Using the Tech News Pro demo
Hi Calin,
I’m pretty sure I didn’t even have the tagDiv composser plug-in installed yesterday which probably explains the issues I encountered.
I’ve installed the plug-in and now performed the 5.4 update without any issues.
I actually noticed it as it marked the tagDiv composser obsolete then updated it during the 5.4 update process.
So far, all is looking good, thank you for your help with this,
regards
Bob
Hi bobtod,
Most of the time when this is happening it is because the theme plugin tagDiv Composer is not installed or something was not correctly installed during the theme updated.
Normally in this case what you need to do is to make sure that the required theme plugins are installed, in this was was tagDiv Composer.
If you want we can do the update together and see if the problem persist and if does we’ll resolve it.
You can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
after performing the 5.4 update my top menu had been removed along with the page layout. The home page was just displaying the source code, the same as if you were to click on edit the homepage and it shows the classic edit code.
I could view individual posts ok but the side columns and layout were all missing on the right hand column.
I tried to add the top menu again but it didn’t make any noticable difference. The only menu items I could see were home and contact, unfortunately I didn’t manage to take any screenshots before I manually rolled back to 5.3 to fix the issue.
I guess if its really going to help you I can upgrade to 5.4 so you can see what breaks as my site isn’t going live for another week or two. Let me know if this will help you and I can send over the website address in it’s broken state?
regards
Bob
Thank you for your answer.
I would like to change the date position. With API plugin i found the solution, but work only with update module, as i wrote can not add new flex block.
Could i change it with the flex block builder? (As i see i with this option can add only pre-made modules, i would like to add my custom.)

Hello,
Please provide more details, like the link to your website.Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hello,
If you have made changes in the theme files, then when you update the theme the files are overwritten. Usually, the changes are saved in the child theme.
Also, please try not to reply multiple times in the topic/email if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic/email date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.
Thank you!
Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone can help me with this issue.
I used to be able to embed tweet into my blog post by pasting the tweet URL and it would automatically generate the “tweet”. But I think after the latest update, I can no-longer do that. Right now, whenever I paste a tweet URL it would just show the text form of the URL.
Example: Before when the tweet embed function was working
https://imgur.com/WwUIDNt
Example: Now – tweet embed function is not working

I don’t remember changing any Newspaper settings on my WordPress blog, and I couldn’t figure out what went wrong. My blog is cpblstats.com
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
Yes, something is definitely messed up with the update. Had my host restore a previous version. Frustrating…
Same thing happened to my site today, I fixed it by manually replacing the 5.4 directory: wp-content/themes/Newsmag/ with a backup of 5.3 from the weekend, prob not the best way to fix it but its back to normal now.
I won’t be doing the 5.4 update for a while I guess.
I found a problem by myself. TagDiv team still did not give me a single response by email. Very dissappointed.
So, here is why it happens:
After update, all my records in header.php and functions.php files have been deleted. There is no such info available on Theme Update page, so you will spend long time to understand such a small problem.
Sorry, tagDiv. Today I am very dissappointed.
Hi portalishqip,
exchanging various arguments with the assistance of the various hosting providers on which I host the sites with the tagDiv theme active, the problem is caused by Memcached.
In fact, by disabling it, you should avoid constantly recalling the same queries, honestly, I’m waiting for a resolution update.
I’ve tried using Flex blocks, uninstalling the Standard Pack, using a CDN, disabling heartbeat, limiting Ajax requests to the maximum, and using only the plugins needed and recommended by tagDiv… I’ve deleted a large number of lines from the DB… nothing, just by disabling Memcached, the problem doesn’t recur.
I wonder if using Redis or other caching systems anyone has encountered the same problem.
Regards,
Simone
Hi,
Yes, this is on our list for request from users.
The thing is, in Newsmag most theme updates are done for security, not to bring new features.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello @boubsamy !
Please make sure you use the cloud templates. We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features, Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
