If you used the old version of the theme, then make sure you also have the Standard Pack plugin installed and activated, so you shouldn’t have problems next time. Please make sure you have the latest update of the theme and you do not use some extra non tested plugins.

The feature was working on 11.5 too. But was causing a huge load on database. Making the website inaccessible at the end! At least, this was my issue when using the popular articles feature!
We have explained the issue in several threads here in forums.
I have not downloaded the new update yet, but I have not seen any mention to the problem, so developers did nothing to resolve it!

I recommend you update the theme on a staging website and make sure that you activate the tagDiv plugins activated to keep the website’s look.
Before the update, please fully backup all files and the database if something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ using method B.
Also, please let us know about errors when you try to update the theme; also, please disable all extra plugins.

HI, After installing newspaper theme updates my website structure has been disturbed and it is showing code on the website. Please fix asap
I already have some directories on my site. E.g. one for local shops using a CPT for the entries, taxonomy for the businesses (like restaurants, furniture, clothing etc) and ACF for stuff like address, phone, website, opening hours.
Displaying them is a lot of manual work and I have to use a really not so well working maps plugin.
So as I saw the v12 changelog I really got stoked – everything out of the box!
The update worked well, but … maybe I’m just too stupid, but how do I get it working? I see no “directory” templates or options or anything. If I add a cloud template for a taxonomy there are no maps or filter objects.
Is there any tutorial on how to use the new directory/lists function, adding a map etc?

Didnt disable any plugins, just updated. Then i had to insert purchase key for theme (reset key) since key wasnt recognized. As far as i can see what is not working are custom permalinks only default ones are working. If you want i can give you login and you see for your self.
Hi, we have the same issue and it hás been repórted in the beggining of the year if not earlier. We are in October now. Since then several updates came out and no improvement was made to solve this and make the theme workable and efficient with 7days/ 48hours/24hours post sorting. Future clients Will read fórums and investigate for major issues like this before purchasing a theme. Remember that when you set priorities for future updates.

I have just become aware of the new update.
It would seem that tagdiv is still not really listening to it’s customers, feedback or suggestions.
Personally, these new themes are just terrible looking. There has been no creativity or design flare put into any of these at all. The single post pages are still all so dull, still look the same and not very appealing at all.
It would seem my countless suggestions, ideas and demontrations in the past of fallen on deaf ears. There is just nothing “Special” here at all. Many of these single post templates just look yuck.
The following is an example of what an actual beautful and very appealing single post looks like HERE and an beautful category page
However, the new theme gives us things like this lifeless dullness plan looking dull sheet of paper.
I hope in future releases newspaper actually comes up with some creative flare in its designs and not have everything look the same all the time
First of all, congratulations for Newspaper 12! Fresh updated and no problems so far and exciting for new features and additions! One of them was posibility to users to vote/rate articles.
Now, I see a new tab in my screen of WordPress, “Reviews” and I supose there will apear all users ratings.
I try to create a post and search for a setting, or something, that activate posibility to user to vote that article, but I can’t find anything… is there an tutorial or something that I missed? Sorry if it is and I don’t find it.

Salut băieți și fete și felicitări pentru versiunea 12 a Nrwspaper. Foarte mișto, făcut update de la versiunea anterioar direct prin WordPress și momentan nu am întâlnit nimic de rău sau vreo problemă.
Încântat sunt cel mai mult de posibilitatea de a permite vizitatorilor să ofere rating/vot articolelor, MovieNews.ro fiind o platformă care conține și recenzii, acest lucru îl căutam de multă vreme la tema voastră.
Nu am găsit însă cum să activez/de unde și să setez acea posibilitate de rating al userilor. Știu că publicați un desfășurător (log) cu ce conține noile update-uri, dar nu am găsit detalii despre cum să utilizez această funcție nouă.
Vă mulțumesc încă o dată și aștept o veste de la voi.

I remind you that you have currently set me version 7.4 because the latest version of php is not compatible with your template and was giving me a series of problems in functions.php. To specify which post is offered only with subscription, they must use the locker, also the page requires the locker shortcode (as mentioned in previous message). These are the only methods.

Using the responsive version you’ll have the same content like on desktop, but when you use the mobile page you can set the content you want, is no longer need to use the exact responsive content. You can simply convert the desktop content and add the rest of content you need, or remove the one that you do not need. Also, using the mobile page template you need to convert the header and footer.

With tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template and
you can change the additional text in “Last updated on” => https://www.screencast.com/t/EvfUQMfzkd, and the Single Post Modified Date will show you the last time you edited that post => https://www.screencast.com/t/j74uz43paZj
Also, the theme has the element Single Post Date, to add it in the Single Post Template https://forum.tagdiv.com/single-post-shortcodes/
