Hi turma99, if I understand correctly, you have an image that you want to be set as top bar for your amp version. Now the easiest way it is to set it in one of the ads files like Vlad suggested or in this places https://i.imgur.com/zYxTAsO.png this is the only solution to set the code in theme settings, if this is not what you want, then you need to set it in theme files (please notice that when the theme will be updated those changes from theme files will be removed). The file path it is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/header-amp.php
Thank you!
To solve this problem you need to optimize better your website, the CLS and LCP are all about the website page speed, to can get better results, you need to optimize the website better.
For mobile version, if you want you can try the mobile page , for most users that use pro prebuild website provide better speed on mobile, you can check it on our website from here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ -> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdemo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewspaper_pro%2F

Hi,
I think that one of the problems it is that you are using an very old theme version 9.1 (now it is 11.2) with the latest WordPress version 5.8 and those are not compatible.
My recommendation is to make a full backup for your website and database and to update the theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ please use method B (via FTP/cPanel/File Manager).
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too, also make sure that tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Standard Pack will be activated from Newspaper > plugins.
This should fix the problem.
Thank you!
Hello,
after updating Newspaper theme from 11 to 11.2, my template footer doesn’t work correctly anymore: I was using the “Kid Store” footer template, but it seems to overlap the whole website structure, even if I re-import it with the original template.
I attach a link to the “before” and “after” update images:
https://postimg.cc/gallery/B8HdjTb
What could I do? Should I redesign it from scratch, roll-back to 11 or what?
Thank you
So far, I have had the absolute worst experience with using this theme. It feels like i am always putting out one fire or the other on my website. I updated my website yesterday and all of a sudden, the name of the theme is showing up when i access the site on my mobile. As if that is not enough, I try to solve that problem only to find out that all the changes i make to the mobile headers, seem to work on my laptop, but do not work on my phone even after clearing cache severally.
The template is so not user friendly, we barely have time to focus on content creation when we are constantly worrying about something that has just randomly changed all by itself on the website.
I recently updated to the latest newspaper version and I noticed Pulses Pro written beside my logo on mobile. I have tried to do everything to fix it, but it just won’t go away.
all plugins updated… other plugin dactivated but facing same problem
Hello,
If I understand correctly, you have done changes in the files for Single Post Template 13, if these changes were made in the theme files (not in the child theme) then simply selecting that template for the post should show the changes.
Please don’t change the name of the single post template in a file that does not exist, for example, single_template_14 (this will not appears in the post template options).
I would recommend that you save the changes in a child theme so that they will not be lost after an update of the theme.
Thank you!
can you ask your developers if there is another way to make the module “flex block” recognize the custom fields? so that we can write the change in the child theme and we don’t have to redo everything with every theme update.
Thanks
Hello,
If you don’t want to display the latest posts on your homepage, then you need to change this setting from WordPress -> Settings -> Reading and set it on A static Page and assign a homepage => https://www.screencast.com/t/3TJobUsqOYyn
Also, to install the plugins manually please follow this article https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bQrnMnbD5rj4
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
We are using the TagDiv Newspaper Theme alongside CodeBard’s ‘Patron Plugin Pro’ and ‘Patron Content Manager’ plugins. The various Patreon plugins lock specific posts to non-patreons, encouraging them to subscribe in order to view the content.
When attempting to lock entire posts, the various Patreon plugins see the outer template as the post – locking the template, rather than the post itself – presumably because the outer templates are also posts with their own post IDs. This breaks the layout, and prevents us from using most of the Patreon features. It also means that elements such as the ‘Become a Patron’ buttons are shown twice – once for the template, and again for the post itself. In these cases, we have to hide the erroneous elements via CSS.
Interestingly, we have a custom widget plugin which displays related posts from the same category in a sidebar. On any template using this widget, the post locking works perfectly. I’ve narrowed it down to the ‘have_posts()’ and ‘wp_reset_postdata()’ functions the widget uses to display the related posts. When either of these functions are used, post locking works perfectly. That’s as far as I can go with diagnosing the issue – and adding the widget to every template to fix the problem is simply not an option.
Can you advise how we might fix the issue globally? Or are you able to include something in your next update to achieve this? I understand the issue may be with the Patreon plugins as opposed to the theme, so I have also submitted this to CodeBard support.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
If you have the latest version of the theme, v11.2 then you need to connect with your Instagram personal account to display the feed.
Also, if you have an older theme version you need to update the theme, I recommend you to make a full backup and update plugins and the theme(11.2) via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Please take a look for this advice before updating: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/action-required-please-read-how-to-update-to-the-newspaper-theme-v-10/
Thank you!
Hi cyberhrc, unfortunately, there is no guide how to move from Newsmag to newspaper, but I will try my best to help you.
First you need to make sure that you have a full backup for your website and database.
Now what you need to know is that during this process some elements, design from your website can be changed, so here are the steps that you need to do:
Right now you have the Newsmag theme activated, what you need to do is to install via WordPress the Newspaper theme, but do not activate it. After the theme is installed, go in plugins and disable all tagDiv plugins you have enabled, after that you need to activate the new theme, Newspaper theme and make sure that you update and activate tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard pack (those plugins should bring back the website look), also enable the rest of tagDiv plugins that you are using -> https://i.imgur.com/MvKx52B.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi ioanv,
As I can see there are errors for td_util in both cases. There may be some problems and those need to be investigated, for this if you have a backup, please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cPanel access, and we’ll try to update the theme and see what need to be done that this to be updated correctly. Also please include in email the link of this topic to can identify you.
Thank you!
After updating the Newspaper theme, install and activate tagDiv Standard Pack and tagDiv Composer. This will keep your old design working.
Optional: Then you can start building/redesigning your website templates using tagDiv Cloud Library. Once you’re done with all required templates creation. You can enable them from the theme panel and choose to deactivate tagDiv Standard Pack plugin and optimize your website for better speed and performance.
P.S. If you are using a child theme, you need to update it as well. (especially functions.php file)
I hope you will find this helpful.
Hi.
I’m running on a 4-year-old version of the Newspaper theme (8) and with the latest version of WordPress, I get an error message when trying to post. I know my days with the old theme are numbered. But when I attempted to update to the latest version of Newspaper today, it was basically like building the site from scratch – everything was gone, posts looked horrible, fonts, widgets, picture locations had all changed. I really like the current appearance of my site and am really just looking for a work-around to keep it as is – if there is one. Or is there at least a slightly more headache-free means to do this? Would a gradual theme update be less painful? My site is large (42GB) and high traffic (1.5K users/a day) and I’m really hoping to minimize downtime.
In case you can’t tell, my knowledge on this topic is minimal.
The version of my Newspaper 10.3.2 template has not received an update to correct the Instagram error in which it is no longer possible to synchronize, this error is corrected in version 11.2 that is for sale (I just bought it for another site ), I need to update or some way to allow me to connect to Instagram to view the posts again.
Hello,
Can’t save settings from the panel. They don’t update.
In this blog it says to “From the Plugins section, deactivate and delete the WPBakery Page Builder plugin.” https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ I do not have that option. Just the text I described above. I have no way to deactivate it. So I’m stuck in a bad loop. I finally got a new page to open when I saved and closed it, then opened it with “edit with tagDiv Composer.” But the page opens and the wheels just spin. Nothing ever loads.
I reset the license key and it shows as activated. I also updated the theme, but the front page still displays the error image. Clearing cache and using an alternate browser still shows the error.
Sorry, I don’t understand any of this. I found a blog post about using tagDiv Composer to create a new home page, opening up a new page, creating it, then deleting the old page. I don’t even have the option of tagDiv Composer when opening a page. No blue button like on all blog posts showing how to use it. (like on this blog post: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/) Nothing. There is not option anywhere to open tagDiv Composer. And, as I said, I cannot upload the latest version of WP Bakery. I have tried. Nothing happens. The wheels just spin. and I can’t delete it as this is the only message on my Plugins Tab: ““There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 5.0.1 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?” I cannot access it nor delete it.
Hello,
I have purchased newspaper theme and while importing demo content of ‘local news’ version it shows following error.
tagdiv importer detected an error. the importer will try to recover and continue
I have hosted my website in Kinsta hosting which has best server configuration. I have already contacted hosting provider and updated memory limit to maximum. All PHP values are set to maximum, no errors in system status. I’m able to import pro templates. But cannot import ‘local news’ template, I like this design.
UPDATE 3
With this error i can´t edit anything from the tagdiv composer…
UPDATE:
I create a new page, a new home. Save it, come back, and appears again
