Unfortunately, there is a big difference between version v8 to version v11.
I recommend that you update the theme on a staging website and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the look of the website.
Before the update, please make a full backup to all files and the database if something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ using method B.
Also, please let us know about errors you have when you try to update the theme, also, please disable all extra plugins.

If on the website are displayed shortcodes, you need to have the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin updated and activate, from version 10.4, this plugin is no longer required because the new demos are using cloud templates.

In the last update, v11, the implementation of the boxed option has been fixed, if you set a background image/color this boxed option had applied only to content, now it also applies to the header and footer.
So, if you want to make the layout full width and change the website width, you need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in the Theme Panel because this makes your website boxed. Make sure this option is disabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF

I have an issue with infite scrolling feature on newspaper theme. Whenever there is an update for the theme, this ajax call fails: https://potkrovlje.ba/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=10.3.9.1
The current version of the theme is 11. So whenever there is a new version if i don’t update it on time, the infite load and ajax load more button stop working until i update the theme. After i update it, all is working correctly again
Is there a way to stop this from happening.
Last evening, I’ve done an update (because of a security alert bulletin from iThemes) from 10.4 to 11. And then update required plugins. After that TD blocks was displayed as source even after emptying cache. Restoring only theme was not sufficient and I’ve to do a full restore from previous night backup. The website owner is not very happy…
Is there a known problem ? Have I missed a step ?

Hi I am running old version of theme ( version 8 ) but when I am trying to update to version 11 its coming up with error.
I was trying to reactivate first other theme and then deleted the version 8 and then uploaded version 11. but started getting errors.
WHat I have do to update without any error?

This error can occur due to a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again to edit.
Also, if the problem persists, you can update the theme (v11) on a staging website and do a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the results.

Now if I understand correctly, the problem was on Newsmag v5, can you please make a staging or subdomain where to set your website we can make the theme update and check the reported situation, this will help us a lot!

I updated to newspaper 11 update. The full width mode is lost now. Earlier it was there in the earlier version. How can i get the full width mode of the Newspaper theme.

Maybe in the TD composer future updates we can use it on the actual woocommerce product pages instead of creating cloud templates then applying it. Like how we are able to use it in the WordPress pages. We will make a lists so you can pass it to the developers. You guys are awesome!
The short code is applied to the woocommerce short description on the actual woocommerce product page. On the cloud template I used the TD composer woo description component for the layout. Whatever is in the woocommerce short description from the actual woocommerce product page should show automatically including short codes. One would think at least. I know this is a new feature in the TD composer and know it’ll just keep getting better in future updates. Please let the developers know. Thank you!

I can see all post and pages but not online. I couldnt update plugins such as tagdiv composer. What can i do to go back to the previous version? Now i cant find where is this time machine to go back to a previous backup. please, help me
I can not update home page by using Edit with TagDiv Composer, when I click it load:
“This page isn’t working bsprinting.asia didn’t send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE ”
I tried following the next steps but still doesn’t work:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)

First of all, please make a full backup. If you will do the update or a fresh install of the theme, then all changes you made in the theme’s files will be overwritten.

My original Footer (which was in pages: Footer) is not visible anymore.
Only option In Theme Panel/Footer is: Cloud Library Template. No more Footer Settings, Instagram Settings, Footer Info Content, Footer Background, Sub Footer Settings as shown in your Documentation!
I tried to generate a new Cloud Template from an imported “Blank Footer Template” and chose this in the Theme Panel/Footer/Cloud Library Template: no success, no footer. When I try to modify this “Blank Footer Template” “Edit with tagDiv Composer” is not available.
I want my footer back, what can we do?

We already added the code that we need to the functions.php for the displaying of the short description like an excerpt for the woocommerce products.
We would like to implement it to show on the TD composer Woo Product Block. Between the title and the price. Something similar to the image below. Please lead us in the right direction.

I’m not sure when this problem began happening, but I think it was after the last theme update.
Also, Ryte’s report shows two 301 redirects from author pages to other pages, but we didn’t set any redirects. Please check this screenshot.

You have an old theme version with the latest WordPress version that it is way you have this error. You need to make a full backup for your website and database and update the theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ use method B (update via FTP) and make sure that you update the theme plugins from newspaper welcome section and newspaper > Plugins.
If the problem is still there after the update, then please make a full backup, and contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cpanel access. Also include the link to this topic.
