Hi!, I am trying to create or edit pages with TD Composer and when I edit or create something with “Text with title” element I cannot add text, html or shorcode. When I created the website I didnt have any problems with that element but now I cant add nothing. I have checked the error and it gives me an error with Javascript. I think it may be since the last update but I need to fix it fast for my newspaper.

After the update, commenting the code on line 57 in td_ajax_mobile.php, as suggested by Calin in the his first reply(pls see screenshot), wasn’t working. It was not disabling the live search on mobile theme. So I commented the entire code(entire page). Is there anything that this code is responsible for other than live search on mobile theme. Or is it Ok if I comment the entire code.
Please let me know.

Thanks for the recent update and for the hardwork and love you give to the Newspaper theme! I recently extended my support and hope you can help me with my simple problem.
I have added this CSS code in the Custom Code in the Theme Panel:

I wanted to have vertical lines on each link on my website. But now, even the img tags are getting the border-bottom which doesn’t look nice on mobile.
Could you please help me solve this and know what’s the proper CSS so that the img tags don’t have the border-bottom?

Sorry for delay. All works fine now – now that VC has been disabled. I never mixed editors – just incompatible, so think it’s best to dicth VC in future updates.

If you want to try the update you can do it on localhost or on a sub-domain for tests, in this way you can check if the elements you need are compatible or not, in this way you’ll know if you can or not to use the update.
Unfortunately I do not know an estimate time because the new update will be about to make the theme lighter and more fast.
For the moment, from what I know the WPBakery plugin will continu to be a suported plugin in our theme.

Whatever I update on the Theme Panel (such as not showing author or author box, or uploading a logo), nothing happens in the front end. I do click Save Settings. And I do reset cache etc.

Also our developers are working for a new version of the Newspaper theme that will be more light and faster, is possible that in this moment our theme to be a lite big because have a lots of features on two planes ( default and cloud ), I think that in the coming updates this problem will be solved.

Using cloud library I do not think that this will work, only with the default theme files, the cloud library are a very delicate files, and will crush quickly, if the code is not set well or you forget about the changes made in plugin files; also the cloud temples can not be set in default child theme, there will be nee for some custom work to the child theme files in order to work with cloud files.
What you want to achieve is quite complicate, because after you made the changes and you want to edit the cloud templates to have problems, also making an theme update can be hard, because you’ll need to recheck the compatibility.
So this can work but I can not say for sure that it will work 100%.

Hi. Love your theme and have 4 licenses. I have the most updated version (9.8) and all my WordPress, plugins, etc., are all up-to-date. I also have Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder. However, when I try to create a row of Vertical Parallax on Scroll, neither does my image appear nor does the text scroll.
When I deactivate the Newspaper theme, it works. I’ve also used the plugin developer’s sandbox and created the same element configuration there, and it works in the sandbox. But as soon as I activate Newspaper, the element no longer works.
So, apparently, the Newspaper theme is competing. Is there any way we can work around this? I love Newspaper and I love the ability to Vertical Parallax on Scroll.
