In the last theme update there was a modified date shortcode added in cloud templates

So if you use a cloud post template now it is possible to display the modified date. For modules there is also an option now – http://prntscr.com/mxsdd7
Also a sort method has been added to be able to sort posts by modified date

I had to change my perfectly working W3 Total Cache to WP Super Cache, recompile all ads codes (add new to Mobile and AMP section), remake used cloud templates (old ones didn’t want to work) and still the site’s mobile version looks horrible, AMP versions don’t work.

When you set a video as featured a thumbnail will be placed from the video

So place a video link like in this example – http://prntscr.com/mxpirm (in Gutenberg refresh the page after you click update to actually see the thumbnail)

How exactly are you doing it and what is happening? Let me know.
I should mention that currently there is a known issue with videos from Facebook, it doesn’t create a featured image. This will be fixed.

Hi! After a recent WP update the mobile editor is nowhere to be seen! Any ideas how to find it?
They don’t care about this bug, I already waiting this bug is gonna be fix. And after 2 latest update, this bug is still there, yoast in not compatible with newspaper theme only in homepage if you use pagebuilder on it. For solution, there are only 2 way:
1. Don’t use pagebuilder on homepage, use default homepage for your website, if you use pagebuilder, your website is have duplicate title tag and duplicate meta description because %%page%% yoast snippet code is not work only in homepage that you create with pagebuilder
2. Replace yoast plugin with all in seo pack plugin if you don’t want to use default homepage for your website. %%page%% snippet code from all in seo pack plugin is work perfectly in homepage pagination that you create with newspaper pagebuilder.

I´m can confirm mparleviets claims. Press once – no thumbnail (however Twitter an FB-shares work fine)
Press twice or more – Newspaper fetches the thumbnail
This started happenening when the 9.6 update rolled out..

Yoast SEO for Categories and Tag pages has stopped working. The content optimisation button is now blank with no option to add description etc. Yoast has recently made an update, so could there be a compatibility issue with Newspaper theme?

Yes, that’s how the Featured Video/Image worked before the 9.6 update. Since updating to 9.6, you have to press Save Draft several times before the video thumbnail is added to the Featured Image.

Yes, all that layout out can be make with Newspaper v9.6, also I check that version and is seams that on beebom.com are a lot of custom made, also the v7.2 is very old and unsecured, we can not longer provide it, sorry!

So with the previous version all was working, but after you updated the theme there are problems with the composer. Maybe the theme has not installed properly, you could try and reinstall it, either by FTP again or by WordPress.
If the same happens, the first step would be to check plugins. Deactivate all non-theme plugins as a quick test. Check if the same happens. If you use child theme, deactivate it as well temporarily.
In case the problem remains, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access. Also include a link to this topic in the email. Mention how we can recreate the problem on your website. Let us know.

@gossiponthis You would have to redo the modifications even if the theme still used the old AMP plugin. After a theme update the theme plugins have to be updated, older plugins will automatically be deactivated.
@kumushka The current functionality with AMP and mobile theme may change, we are looking for solutions to allow more flexibility. Changes may be made in this matter starting with the next update.
