The theme has been re-uploaded, the issues with the text and raw HTML elements have been fixed. Please download again and install it. If you have broken text elements since the update, these will have to be re-added in the page/post.
For damaged pages pages you could restore a previous page revision.

I upgraded the theme which broke it too. Followed the advice here to Update Plugin: tagDiv Composer.
But get the error: The plugin does not have a valid header.
After updating the latest theme and visual composer the raw html on my homepage appear as below.

If I try and delete and add new content to the raw html element it does not work.

Only on product page, category listing (…) works just fine. If you press on the white space, it loads the image. By the way, I update to v9 meanwhile.

There are a few topics about this issue. The new update seems to create some problems with the text and raw HTML elements.
The fix should be in it’s final stages and the theme will be re-uploaded. I will let you know when you can download and re-install the theme.

After updating to Newspaper 9, the custom code in a child theme doesn’t work anymore.
I added this to /inculdes/wp_booster/td_module.php:

I just updated to version 9 and when I click on the ‘Add New’ it simply opens wordpress editor instead of loading ready templates.Here attached is the screenshot.

That would be impossible, if the old theme is removed and the new newspaper 9 is uploaded, how would the old one still be active?
How are you updating the theme exactly? Use FTP (most reliable). If our guide is not enough, check some online tutorials

Learning to use FTP and access the theme files and WordPress files on their server is a necessity.
Of course you can also use the update by WordPress, that will work as well.

There is a problem with text elements and raw HTML elements in the recent update. As soon as this is fixed the theme will be re-uploaded. This should happen today. Sorry for the inconvenience. You could return to 8.8.2 or not use such elements for the moment.

1: It shows that PHP GD library is OK and I set thumbnail regeneration again. It will take some time and I will update this thread
2: OK let me rephrase. I set some columns with adverts to be hidden from mobile other from desktop. Those that are hidden from mobile and should show on desktop are working fine, they render only on desktop. Those that are hidden from desktop and should be shown on mobile aren’t rendering on mobile (and on desktop but that is how it should be).
You can see that I set column here https://prnt.sc/kgu6hg but if you access website banjalucanke.com from your mobile you will not see that column
I was able to get the issue fixed by my Cloudways engineer. It was an issue with the http/https and how the plugin was seeing it in the header.
Hopefully it will not be an issue again during the next update.

The theme should be re-uploaded today, I will mention it here. The issues are mostly with the text and raw HTML elements of the tagDiv composer, they do not function correctly.
@Jair Prandi and @todayidol So you update and cannot login in the website. Please make sure there are enough resources especially WP memory

Similar issues or 500 errors were solved by increasing it to 256M if possible.
@silvaniodc Double check if the theme plugins are updated and active. Then go the theme panel sub-footer settings, select the multi-purpose template and save

Indeed, on you posts there is no hentry data for some reason. The theme contains the required data by default (entry-title, updated and author). These can be seen in the page source of one of the posts in you website

These are all present in the page source because the theme puts them there. But it seems the Google tool does not see them. They are not outputted in the Google tool

I see you use an additional implementation for structured data

Maybe that is overriding the theme structured data, I don’t know exactly. I do know that by default there is no problem in this matter.
You could remove all additional structured data plugins and implementations, then check if the required meta is detected.
Great update (9.0) as usual. However I’m facing an issue. When trying to edit and add adsense code in html form, the result is garbled letters.

For the moment it would be best to remain to 8.8.2 or below, there are some issues with the new update 9. These should be fixed today and the theme re-uploaded.
As for the patch updates, the patch from each version have to be installed. Skipping a patch will not work. So each patch is needed 8.8->8.8.1->8.8.2->9. One patch will contain modified files from the previous version, the next update will contain modified files from the previous and so on. Sorry for the unintended inconvenience.

And have a way to customise like you do using tagdiv composer.

FOllowed instructions and ended up with this error on theme page: all the TDplugins report similar such as:
“TD AMP – This plugin requires Newspaper v8.7.5 but the current installed version is Newspaper v7.7.”
I just downloaded from envato today.
UPDATE: I Just tried again. I activated a different theme, deleted the 8.8 theme, ran the update and it worked this time. – then all good after I updated the two outdated plugins.
