You need to update your wp-config.php file to specify the new memory size also! See the wordpress.org docs on how to edit your config file for the custom setting. No other way to change that.
Image placement function on the backend in the editor (alignment, text wrap, placement, etc), works fine, but when I save/update the post the image always shows at the top of the post. Regardless of size, regardless of where I placed said image in the editor. How can I get the images to show in designated specified areas, in my posts?
This was an issue with Newspaper 8.7 and is now ongoing with the 8.8 update.

Hello, I have 2 small questions about my topic Newspaper.
First, why my “Social Counter” on the right of my site https://2paclegacy.fr PC version does not update especially for instagram? However, I have the latest version of Newspaper, I updated the social counter in the plugins, I disabled and activated again but the counter remains blocked at the same number.
Another question also for Instagram, I put at the bottom of my homepage on the PC version of my site the band “Follow us on Instagram” with some photos that can be put from the theme panel but nothing do not want to add.
What to do for these 2 small problems?

I am trying to update my Sidebar Ad with a newspaper publication (which we do every other month) but for some reason, we cannot get past the “uploading” portion. The thinker just keeps on going around and around. I have check the system status as suggested on other fourms, but everthing seems fine. I also just updated to the newest version of Newsmag. I already uninstalled and deleted all the related tagdiv plugins and reinstalled the newest ones.

Yesterday the Site lost all of it’s Theme Settings. I didn’t change anything and I didn’t do any update to the theme/wordpress/plugin. I managed to import the backup of the Settings but I’d like to know what could cause something like that?

Unfortunately we have not tested the newsletter plugin on older versions of our theme so I cannot say for sure if it will work or not. The newsletter plugin was created based on the code of newspaper 8.7 so it will probably not work on older versions.
You can however test other newsletter plugin if you cannot update as there are many to choose from from the wp repository.

Sorry, there is no color change setting for galleries. What colors. I will add this to our list for future updates but this has to become more popular if we are to consider implementing it into our theme.
Maybe a bit of css can help in this regard though. Please provide an example of what colors you want changed and I will try to provide the code needed.

Indeed there is a problem regarding the galleries when there are under a certain amount of pictures added to it. Only when there are not enough images added to the gallery to fill the entire container: https://www.screencast.com/t/brafkrsOZRW
We will fix this issue in the next theme update.
As a quick fix, you should add more images to the gallery enough to fill the rest of the container width.

1. You can do this now in the new cloud template. You can edit a template from the cloud library to the design you want and then save that template. You will then have the possibility to import it on new pages.
2. You can delete any page you do not need from the wp pages section.

Dear, there is a bug that stretched the sidebars in the woocommerce page to full width. I have disabled the side bar in woocommerce template, but yet it shows in full width in woocommerce page. I have tried deleting and recreating the woocommerce pages, but nothing is working in this way. This has done multiple times before. The only solution that works for me is to re-update the theme and that’s all. Last night, I have re-update the theme and this works for me. I am sure this is some kind of bug. I will share you the pictures of the problem I am facing soon. Please be patient.

Your colleague Simion C takes a deep look at that problem and don’t provide any solution except to update the theme.
The problem is that I cannot re-update the theme at regular intervals. So, please provide me the official support to sort out this problem.

Try to update the theme to the latest version of it, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at it. Before this, please make a full backup to your database.

I’m a bit disappointed that a basic tutorial on installing updates is not been created. I’m used to just being able to hit update in the theme panel, but apparently that does not work with this theme. please send detailed instructions and create a video.
Whew! That was lucky. That’s good basic WordPress knowledge a lot of folks forget; as that sort of thing not managed by the theme in any way.
But yes! If still in the trash and not deleted, that is how to get them back.
Over here, I run the WP-Optimizer after doing a lot of updates, but that also empties the trash, which is why that didn’t even occur to me to suggest. (doh)

Noticed that with recent updates all of our tagdiv galleries went broken.
When page loads there are no either no thumbnails under the main picture or they stick to the right border leaving black space on the left side. And when you try to click next/previous arrow they show up/start moving but somehow they are not centered but stick to the left border of the gallery box leaving black space on the right side of the gallery box.

Nope. You can recreate them if you have them saved in archive.org. I had to do that once. Good way to learn a lesson to save a backup from the WP panel before doing major updates to site. And periodically, out of paranoia….
This is weird, of course we tried with other images but it was the same. And I just created a new Photoshop image exactly the same way as I do for other images on the website, it’s still the same (you can check it on the page).
Is it possible that the problem comes from the last theme update? I’m not sure but I think I tried this widget before the update and it was OK. Also, when I uploaded the 8.8 version, some sidebars I created before were modified (I didn’t pay attention since we were creating all sidebars of our new site).
