Hello,
Please make all of these tests without plugins. Plugins are the number one reason the theme functionality is affected. Please disable all plugins and only leave visual composer active. Then clear all caching from the cache plugin (we only recommend wp super cache), from the cdn server and from the host if there is any hosting related cache.
Then after all this test if you can save anything in the theme panel, check if you can disable the ads or add other ads, check if the social icons can be deactivated: http://screencast.com/t/5r8ZPkZdCbV
If you use a child theme, that can also cause issues if it’s not been updated.
If you still have trouble please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation.
Thank you!
Hello,
I tested the password protect on my end but it works fine with the new version of WP so the theme is not the cause here.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
This probably happens because of the modifications made to the menu or a plugin css conflict. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If the issue is still there please provide a link to your site so i can inspect the menu.
Thank you!
Hi futbolpulse.com,
Please keep in mind that the Visual Composer is fully tested and compatible with our theme and until now we have not encountered any issues in this regard. I have inspected your website and I did not saw any issues regarding on this. Your website seems to work as properly. So, if the issues will reappear, you should make a new clean install from scratch, via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. For more information about FTP method, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Hello dexro57,
Try to make the following layout to your backend, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/v6JSmBRciY You should use 1/3+/1/3+1/3 from Visual Composer and then you should add 2 Block 7 and a sidebar for the third column and the result you should look like this -> http://screencast.com/t/hfyelt9W
Hope this helps!

Hello,
You will have to use a plugin if you want user rating. our theme has a review system but it was not meant for user reviews, but rather an author review. You can only add reviews from the back-end.
A custom permalink can be added through the wordpress settings and seo yoast.
As for the author page, there is no simple way to change the default one but you can create an page in visual composer and then use 301 redirects between tha standard author page and your own custom page.

Hello krismali,
Please keep in mind that our theme is fully tested and it should not appear these errors. I suppose that you are using some untested plugins which interact with the theme and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install to another sub-domain via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. For more information about theme installing, please consult the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/

Of course it will still ask. You have to ignore it. That is what the guide sais. It does not instruct you to do anything about it: http://screencast.com/t/paVAiyyUej
If your plugins does not work, then that is a different matter altogether.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello dexro57,
Please keep in mind that our theme has a list with some available blocks. Please try to check here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-7/ and you should choose any like it to your website. For example, you can try using the Block 7. For more information about Block settings, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/ and here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Thanks for the message!
I have tried this as well but visual composer is still asking for activation and I cannot use it to build a homepage. Please help.
Hello,
This could be a caching issue. Please disable any hosting cache (contact your host) and only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ If you use a cdn: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
It could also be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello geospatialmedia,
I have inspected your website and saw that you have some issues to your console and also, I have noticed that you are using some untested plugins. A crazy number of problems since I updated the theme – !
I updated the theme. Initially via WP, encountering problems. Then using the Envato tool, and not managing to get anywhere. Eventually via FTP.
Took me a while to wipe everything properly, but I managed to re-install the theme.
I found all my settings basically intact.
Except – the homepage is completely broken. Pages and posts are broken, too, even if less messy (apparently)
Tried activate/deactivate, clearing caches.
I uninstalled the Visual Composer that came with the theme the day I purchased it (Oct 11th).
I then installed the Visual Composer that I find in the folder I can download from Envato today.
When VC is installed, but not active, the site displays almost correctly – meaning that the layout looks more like it, even if rows and columns are misplaced
>>> check thegoodmood.it – you can actually read bits of code here and there
When VC is installed, and active, the whole site is a mess – homepage, pages, posts, pictures, sliders – everything !
Right now, it is installed but not activated.
I have been trying a number of variations of install/uninstall – activate/deactivate – keep cache/clear cache – the theme just won’t work properly as it used to do before the update.
Please get back with a solution!
Thanks
Flavia
Hello bgo,
I have inspected your website, and I saw that you are using the module 1 to display the posts on the category page. So, I check your featured image, and I notice that the size of it is not right. Your natural image size is 108*300 px and the size of the thumb for module 1 is 324*160 px. Please keep in mind that you should have minimum 324px for image width if you want to bring best results. Notice that the theme thumbs only crop the image and not enlarge it. The image thumb crop from center to top the image and that’s why you have only the top of your image displayed in the thumb…the image is too short. Also, I have made a test with your featured image to my side, using the module 1 and the result is here -> http://screencast.com/t/nNRoZSTFChD and your result in here -> http://screencast.com/t/uxqeIqgKNS Your image it seems to be zoomed in and our theme does not do this. I think that you are using some plugin which enlarges the image. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, please use some properly images according to our thumb sizes. For more information, consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Hope this helps!

Hi,
– The white block is a news ticker element that can be found in visual composer. edit your page and check the trending now element.
– Edit your page and edit the social counter settings and simply remove the youtube ID from the widget settings:https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
– Try to use this code for the top menu on mobile:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}}
@media (max-width: 767px){
div.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display:block !important;
}}
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}}
– Thumbnail sizes cannot be changed easily in our theme. You will require coding skills for it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_thumbupdate/
– Use this css code to remove pinterest:
.td-social-pinterest{
display:none!important;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m not sure where the redirect comes from as it does not come from the theme. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again to see if the redirect happens again without plugins.
Thank you!
Hello votranhtuhi,
Try to make a new clean install from scratch using only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicts. The Widgetised sidebars are fully tested with the theme and seem to work as properly until now. The theme installing should have to be done via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard
The Visual Composer does not need activation.
-The theme includes a license for this plugin so you don’t have to buy it.
-You don’t have to activate the plugin license, it’s already activated.
-You can’t update Visual Composer directly from the it’s producer.
-You don’t have to worry about the plugin update warnings.
-We provide updates on a regular basis after we test the plugin for theme compatibility we include it in the latest theme update, inside the ../plugins folder
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.

Hello tootiefrutie,
Unfortunately, the above code is not from our theme, it is created by you and we cannot offer support to your custom work, sorry! Probably it is correct or not. Please notice that we cannot afford to check this code and test them with the theme because this task involves time-consuming and the time is too short to do that, sorry! Please keep in mind that our Visual Composer shortcodes which are generated for blocks/modules and any other elements work fine for posts and pages. I cannot provide you an accurate response regarding on your custom work because we cannot do that and we are unavailable to do that at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello aefalson,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins, as you ca see here -> http://screencast.com/t/VA0MK4KSAeOg Also, you have some errors in your console, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/T5GQoqybck Please try to disable all the plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. It is possible that your untested plugins to interact with the core theme and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to revert the theme to the final state and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch and install only the required plugins and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
