Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Also remove any image optimization tools such as photon.
Most images appear fine. Only the ones that are too small do not position properly in the grids. You must make sure you upload images that are big enough to fit in the grids as the theme will not enlarge images. It only crops them.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Also disable any image optimization tools you might have in place. It seems your thumbnail for those posts gets converted to a 1 x 0 pixels image. That is why you cannot see it.
After you disable all plugins and check any custom code please make sure thumbs are active on your site: http://screencast.com/t/jIv2BXrCM5hW and then use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/strange/
Thank you!
Hello Jaku,
I have inspected your website and I saw that your site moves a little hard (very smoothly). Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Notice that our theme is very complex which has a huge core and if you are using some untested plugins, all of these can interact with the theme code and cause a lot of unknown issues, like that.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thaks for the message!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files if you use it. Plugin conflicts can sometimes prevent the normal functionality of wordpress and the theme.
Also if you use a child theme check your code or simply switch to the main theme to test the menu again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello veet1975,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. I have inspected your source page and I saw that you have some untested plugins which can interact with the theme code and cause a lot of unknown issues. If the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch only with required plugins, clear all your caches and check the results. And also, if you have some custom modification through code, try to revert the theme to the initial state and see how it will work.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello dev,
You should use our Tagdiv Gallery, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/ or also, you can use the Image Gallery from Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/fJFLdmvr9zW
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
If the home page of the mobile theme is the one you are referring to, you cannot change the category. It will show the latest posts from the featured category. That is the top grid. The bottom element is a loop of all your latest articles. The mobile theme does not have settings to change these elements. If you want to have sorting options and different visual composer blocks, you will have to use the standard responsive version of the theme (disable the mobile theme plugin)

Thank you!
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Above code works perfectly fine when I use raw js in visual composer on a page.
But when I copy and paste the code in text mode (not visual) in a post (not page), it doesn’t work.
So there is no problem with code as it works fine on a page.
Gaurav
Hello,
Please do not use photon as it is known to cause issues. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
Hello Gaurav,
Unfortunately, we have no idea about the code provided by you and also, we do not know if it will work or not with our theme, sorry! Notice that the JS code should have been added in Custom Javascript Section, like this http://screencast.com/t/bW8Xf5H9HC or using a RAW JS on pages with Visual Composer. If it will not work you should contact the code provider because we are not aware to provide a solution in this regard and also, we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
I have tested your ad but it seems to work fine if you use this method of implementing it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
Here is an example of it on a page using and ad block in visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/Cv9Ka6no
I placed the ad code in a custom ad spot in the theme panel like so: http://screencast.com/t/ergQJi8SE
On the mobile theme you have to place the script in the head tag again as the mobile theme uses a different header.php file: http://screencast.com/t/qW43t8Ca
I placed it as an article top ad: http://screencast.com/t/UrTiLY3bP – http://screencast.com/t/RXbjQ5spUG
Thank you!
Hello,
If you want to show a single post on a page in visual composer you cna use any block you wish and filer it to only show 1 post. Please use this guide to learn how to use the block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Each block has a limit for how many posts it will show: http://screencast.com/t/flxh416liYD8
Thank you!
Hello,
It seems you were using a sidebar on pages. We removed the use of standard sidebars on pages because you can create sidebars in visual composer by splitting a row and using the widgetized sidebar element. 2 sidebar implementation methods were useless as there is no point in having 2 options that do the exact same thing. Please split your rows in a 2/3 + 1/3 layout and either add elements to your new sidebar or use the widgetized sidebar element to choose a sidebar from the widgets area.

Thank you!
Hello faris,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you have some additional customizations which may affect the proper functioning of the theme. Also, please try to disable all the plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Notice that the Jetpack is a huge plugin which has a lot of modules and which are not all tested with the theme, as and the Mashare plugin. Try to disable them and use the theme without them, clear all your caches and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
You can paginate a post using the nextpage tag. Here is a description on how to use it:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/nextpage/
Make sure you add the nextpage tag in text mode (html), not in the visual editor
Thank you!
Hello,
On pages you can simply use visual composer to place an ad box element and choose whatever ad spot you prefer:
http://screencast.com/t/87CinrBT2Ejs – http://screencast.com/t/skhSkMk1u
Thank you!
Hello,
If you want to have only a top image and the rest just titles, you can simply do that with css, no custom coding required. You can simply use one of the theme blocks that has this sort of functionality but with different images like block 1 on 2 columns for example:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
You can hide the small thumbs with this code:
.td-block-span6 .td_module_6 .td-module-thumb{
display:none;
}
.td-block-span6 .td_module_6 .item-details{
margin-left:0;
}
result: http://screencast.com/t/oaeZXjpGJHD
You can even target paricular blopcks so you will not affect all blocks 1 at the same time by adding a custom css class on the row in visual composer.
You can also use block 2 :
http://screencast.com/t/DX8PO8MNJl
Or block 18 and 19. You ujust need to change up the css a bit.
Oh, and Block 17 already has this implemented: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-17/
Unfortunately you cannot separate each post by category. Our theme has no such option. You can filter specific posts in a block from the filter settings or specific categories but you cannot make the block pull each post in particular from a particular category,. There is no such depth added to the post filters. Sorry.
Thanks
Hi,
Cant I use visual composer for a post? As I can do for pages. Or is it only made for pages?
Best,
Gaurav
After updating the theme and VC successfully, i have the following issue:
The sidebars on pages (note, it’s only on pages…posts and products are okay) are not appearing.
When i go to edit a page, on the section which allows you to choose the template layout for the page and to select the side bar, the following message is displayed:
“While using Visual Composer sidebar settings are not available. To add a sidebar on page use the widgetised sidebar block.”
Could you advise me about this please.
Thanks.
Check system status panel in the theme control panel.
Make sure enough memory allocated to WordPress.
Consider simplifying number of modules used, types of queries, etc.
Consider turning some stuff off, like flyout “yuo might like,” “related posts” at bottom of pages, and use just ONE module/block type on sidebars; remove modules from footer, etc.
Make sure you’re using PHP 5.6x vs 5.4x, as 5.6x has opcache which helps.
If none of that does it — you can stop using pesky Visual Composer; and try the BETA TagDiv Composer (see sticky post top of forum) — which is simpler page builder and which we’re now using across our news network and no longer use VC for anything (as it is often the resource culprit every third version!).

Hello,
The theme does not add any numbers to the url’s. Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again.
If you still have trouble with this, try to switch to a wp default theme and see if the author url still gets the 2’s
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
I’m not sure reinstalling the theme will have any effect if the ad is not compatible. You can give it a try. Install the theme again, and do not use any other plugins except visual composer. And test the ads like that. If they work, then be careful of what plugins you activate. If it does not, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site, wp-admin and provide the ad code so we can run a few tests on your site. Please also include a link to this topic.
Thank you!
Hello beserk77,
Indeed, the Ajax pagination is used only for pages in Blocks if you are using the Visual Composer. In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements, and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello ThePhotoConnection,
I guess that you want to achieve the similar layout with your above example, right? Please notice that our theme has a large list of blocks which are available in Visual Composer. Please check here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ because there you will find all our blocks which are presented in our demo. Also, for more information in this regard, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
1. The sticky logo is there now. Mobile and desktop
2. Please remove any custom css you may have affecting the logo and add this code instead:
.td-header-style-7 .td-header-sp-logo{
max-width: 278px!important;
}
.td-header-style-7 .td-header-menu-wrap-full{
height: 106px!important;;
}
3. For the slider issue, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test the slider again. i sus pect some plugins are no longer compatible in the current version of the theme.
Thank you!
