Even with other plugins disabled it didn’t work. I’ve fixed it by using a custom WPML language switcher and inserted it into the template which I had to rewrite in child theme.

Please keep in mind that the WPML plugin was tested with the theme and should works as expected. Try to disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. this doesn’t help at all. wpml works great on the site, I can install the .mo and .po files additionally. The block displays different, it should be showing the overview side by side but instead it shows the stacked.

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Newspaper is compatible with WPML since April 2017, but even if it’s compatible there’s still a lot of things to modify.
One thing that really annoys me is the WPML language switcher not working when used in the Top menu. The problem is that the WPML menu works on hover. But when you hover over the language from the drop-down, the dropdown disappears. Can I please get a quick fix for this? We’re going live in 2 days.

WPML Plugin is active! When the plugin is active, the *.po – *.mo files are used instead of Theme Panel Translation.
Any updates on how can I exclude this?

Unfortunately, I do not know what kind of plugin you are using for this, sorry! You should try the Polylang or WPML because all of these seems to work as expected with the theme. The theme does not have any other option for this, sorry!

Ok, if you do not want to follow standard debugging procedures, how are we supposed to help? Plugins are the number one cause for 90% of the issues here on the forum. If you do not want to disable them, you will not be able to use the theme properly.

For the moment we do not know of any official method for external featured images. The theme requires an image in the media library in order to set it as featured.

If you need a multi lingual site, the only tested and recommended plugin is WPML. It is unfortunately not a free plugin. There are free alternatives though but they are not tested. You can try q translate-x but keep in mind that it’s not tested, meaning that it could possibly create issues with our theme.

I am trying to show the categories that I filter. But eventhough there are posts attached all the categories it only shows the 4 category names. Turkish and English category ID’s differs for the same category name.
I even replaced category ID’s with the main language ID’s but no result.
