Hi,
I guess you use php 7 so please try to modify the following parameter – http://prntscr.com/dj933m and see how it goes. The current theme version was not tested and adjusted for php 7.
When block offset is not set, it defaults to empty string. On previous versions of php it was automatically converted to integer 0.
Let us know!
Thanks!
Hi,
I need a link where you use this and also where you use our theme. On your site is not our theme active.
If you cannot change to the Newspaper theme your live site, please create a test site, install it check if the issue persist and send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.
Also please make sure that it is not a caching issue so clear all your caches and purge you files if you use CDN.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please update the Social Counter to the latest version provided with the theme. You can find it in the /plugins folder from theme package that you download from themeforest – http://screencast.com/t/6e7bdiRf The procedure is the same like for Visual Composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
I’m not sure where you use the Slider, on your homepage I cannot see on, so maybe you have removed it.
You can use this custom css to reduce the top padding – http://screencast.com/t/ZOBfhdBfb
.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 15px;
}
Thanks!
Hi Nicolai,

Hi,
Unfortunately if we did not tested this plugin I cannot say for sure from where to start. I have provided a suggestion to check this only with Visual Composer and Woo plugins and see how it goes, maybe it is in conflict with another plugin.
You will need to debug this but based on the errors provided above I cannot provide you an answer, sorry! And also please note that we adjust the theme changes only for the tested plugins and we cannot consider and test all plugins. If the plugin’s authors or if you hire a freelancer to debug this, pin point where the issue is, maybe also we can help you with some suggestions where you can find the theme’s code, if you need to make some custom implementations.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can take a closer look.
Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please provide a link so we can inspect this and see if we can provide some css to adjust the block 15 design.
Or if you want to change the Related Articles functionality, you can change the code something like this – http://screencast.com/t/jZPjDC4ukr
'category_id' => '1'
Add your own category ID to the above code(1 is just an example). Also you can control the articles number from Theme Panel > Post Settings – http://screencast.com/t/v4rIDtWKVycH
I recommend to backup your file before any change, so you can revert in case that something goes wrong.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please disable all your plugins except Visual Composer and see how it goes.
If the issue persist you can send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a closer look, but I suspect it is a problem with your wordpress install. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thanks!
Hi,
The Visual Composer comes bundled within the theme’s files and it is licensed to the theme, you don’t need to register it and you cannot update it directly to it’s producer. Only we can provide updates for it and in the next theme version will will provide also the latest version of Visual Composer available on market so you will be able to update it. Please check the update guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Thanks!
Hi,
If you refer to footer About Us section here you can add your custom text – http://screencast.com/t/NlfqC6RLl4
If this is not what you mean please provide more details and a link so we can check.
Thanks!
Hi,
I suggested to check the functionality of the demo slider on a test page and see if the issue persist also there, not to use it on your live homepage.
The problem could be related to your custom slider settings/layout.
Please check it and let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi,
I have checked your site and I cannot see the reported issue – http://screencast.com/t/dpFATP0h6
Probably you have managed to solve this or it is/was a caching issue.
Thanks!
Hi,
In this case I suggest to contact envato help center and ask for more details if it is necessarily – https://themeforest.net/licenses/faq#license-transferable-a We don’t manage this.
Regarding the theme activation, you don’t need to reset it if you transfer the license. We have provided this option for users who change the domain, so they will be able to reset the theme on the old site.
Thanks!
Hi,
I have checked your site and the full width is the same like on our live demo please check – http://screencast.com/t/qnGCIqps – http://screencast.com/t/DM5U3eXz
I suggest to check the zoom setting from your browser when you access the live demo as I can recreate this only if I zoom in – http://screencast.com/t/ADQgrDVndWcg
Thanks!
Hi,
You can set your own hompage like @Edward(Thanks for your help) suggested above. Also it is specified in our tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Regarding the top background image, it is added to the empty row – http://screencast.com/t/lB9JnxbK So just edit the page and check the row settings.
Thanks!
Hi,
You can translate them from Theme Panel > Translations – http://screencast.com/t/rWL6BPFur4

I suggest to remove the user created for security reasons.

Hi,
The slider you have on homepage is not a tagdiv element and I’m not aware of it’s settings. If you want you can use iOS Slider – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/ and please check the block settings tutorial to configure it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Thanks!
Hi,
You have an option to add the alt text on your images – http://screencast.com/t/sjTfjMo7 and you can inspect the frontend and see if it is applied on post page – http://screencast.com/t/CIPdNBUbxi and also on modules – http://screencast.com/t/Syi1g5H006KI
I have checked on my side and it works properly like you can see in the provided screenshots.
Thanks!
Hi,
The avatar is used in multiple places(post’s author box, comments…). I’m not really sure whre would you like to change, but I supposes you want to do this for author box on post page. Here you can find the code in this case – http://screencast.com/t/7rMq9jKw but you also need to use custom css – http://screencast.com/t/Qr5zDhttzet
.single .author-box-wrap .avatar {
width: 150px;
}
.single .author-box-wrap .desc {
margin-left: 167px;
}
Thanks!
Hi,

Hi,
You can use the tagdiv blocks on post pages, they should work properly. The problem is that if you use Visual Composer on post, some post features may not work(for example modal image, articles ads..). The Visual Composer was initially designed as a pagebuilder(default wordpres pages) and it is treated the same by us and we recommend to us it on pages, but you can use/try it also on posts and see how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi,
The featured image appear on modules and also on post page, there is no solution to set 2 images.
A solution can be to set a featured image on your post which will appear on blocks/modules and add an image into the post content which will appear on post page. Then you can set post style 5 for this post so the featured image will not appear on post page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/default-post-templates/
Thanks!
Hi,
You can add a Big Grid on your homepage if you create a static page please check the tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Thanks!
