Hi,

When a post doesn’t have a featured image, the theme will load the placehoder on modules. Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin admin access if you still have issues with this. Also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is. We will take a look as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have checked your site and the Social Counter works properly – http://screencast.com/t/gPmBLst2P I guess you have managed to fix this by updating the theme and the Social Counter plugin to the latest versions.

Thanks!

Hi,

You will need to edit the page template and move the latest articles code above the pagebuilder content code – http://screencast.com/t/Rz4lJYdornae

Thanks!

Hi,

If you want to modify the sticky menu height, you could try to use custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css, for example – http://screencast.com/t/SGVbrR21pb

.td-header-style-7 .td-affix .td-header-sp-logo {
height: 66px;
}
.td-header-style-7 .td-affix .td-header-sp-logo img {
max-height: 66px;
}
.td-header-style-7.td-header-wrap .td-affix .sf-menu>li>a {
line-height: 66px !important;
}
.td-header-style-7 .td-affix #td-top-search {
bottom: 7px;
}

If you don’t have html/css experience I suggest to get someone to help you, as we are not available for custom services.

Thanks!

Hi,

Please provide more details about some server settings that could affect this, so we can also check it on our side.
Also do you use a cache plugin? Did you optimized your site using this guide? – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Please make sure you meet the theme server requirements – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ and also check the System Status parameters – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ especially the php memory.

To improve your server response time you can try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load). To improve the loading speed look the MySQL query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html we also use it on our demo.

Please create your own topics as this one was created one year ago..

Thanks!

Hi,

The theme ad system was designed to work with adsense code and the theme will make it responsive and the ad will fill the available space and also hide/size option will work on it. For non-adsense banners you need to add a specific size for each device as the theme will not handle it, please check documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/

If the theme doesn’t render your code you could try to use a plugin like AdRotate or Simple Ads Manager that are used by many users and use the shortcode in Theme Panel > Ads section.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

The speed booster is an optional plugin and it is tested only with these plugins – http://screencast.com/t/hcjLnOqh4i2 and if you use other plugins it will be automatically disabled. A lot of people install the plugin without knowing what it does and after that they add many plugins and some of the them are not written fine so the developer took this decision.

If you want to always enable speed booster, delete this code from speed booster file: http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh

Thanks!

Hi,

Please ignore the plugin’s update warnings, you don’t need to buy or register the Visual Composer. We provide updates on a regular basis, after we test the plugin for theme compatibility the plugin is included in the latest theme update, inside the /plugins folder. It is specified also in the update guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Thanks!

Please address this question to your host. I’m sure that he can help you with this.
Also you could upload your plugins manually via ftp.
You can also search for an online solution – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-zlib-extensions

Hi,

We made tests with WP4.5 and Visual Composer 4.11.1 and we didn’t notice any issues.
I refer to the new tests, we are waiting for Visual Composer version 4.11.2. The plugin developer announced it but the plugin is not available yet. I guess it was uploaded and it’s waiting for Envato approval. There are a lot of messages on the plugin support page and that’s why we don’t want to hurry and we tried to provide a quick fix for this and also 4.11.1 version on email.

Our initial plan was to release a theme update and include 4.11.1 but after we noticed that they announced 4.11.2 we decided to wait. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will try to find a solution for this. Also paste a link to this ticket.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Yes, you are right the latest version of Newsmag theme contains Visual Composer 4.9 and this creates issues on backend, you cannot edit the page. You can update to the 4.11 version as it works properly and also please make this change in the code – http://screencast.com/t/QeNhZNbdmCvk
If you(or other users) don’t have Visual Composer 4.11 please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will provide it until we release the theme update.

We will make some tests during the day and we will release an update as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Hi,

I’m not aware about the FacetWP functionality and what ca I say is that also the tagdiv blocks are shortcodes but they are interpreted by the theme so you can set the filter options and other settings. I cannot see an easy workaround for this, as not all the shortcodes are interpreted by the theme and also apply the designed theme layout on theme without custom modifications. Unfortunately I cannot provide you a solution for this, what you could try is to take a look to the code and see how a theme block is designed and try to apply this for your plugin’s shortcodes. Also you can get someone to help you as we cannot provide custom services at this time and plugin implementation is not covered by the theme support – https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/

Also maybe the api documentation can help, if you want you can check it here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-theme-api/

Thanks!
