With tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template, and you can change the additional text in “Last updated on” => https://www.screencast.com/t/EvfUQMfzkd, and the Single Post Modified Date will show you the last time you edited that post => https://www.screencast.com/t/j74uz43paZj

Have you checked for a plugin conflict? You will have first to start looking for a plugin conflict. Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; also, if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.

I think that you need to activate the plugin to be able to delete the shortcodes. If you try to delete directly in the editor, maybe other issues will appear because maybe you deleted more code than needed.
