As Chris said this was a bug of Newsmag v 2.3.2 with WordPress V 4.4 We released an new update which is available on themeforest and now this problem is fixed. Try to update the theme, clear all caches and test again.

To display images instead of post in big gird you will need to customize it’s code. This involve a lot of custom work and unfortunately we can’t provide it at the moment. But you can display pages in grid if you want, by adding this post type in grid’s filter: http://screencast.com/t/kiIo9W787 Note that if you display pages in grid there will be no featured image because by default pages don’t have a featured image. To add this functionality you have to insert this code in functions.php file: http://screencast.com/t/E9FpfjvDm9On

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using the latest version of the theme, but an older version of Visual Composer plugin: http://screencast.com/t/l0jivAfL Please try to update the Visual Composer plugin from the
Newsmag-th/plugins folder: http://screencast.com/t/miUvStRJT – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Note that you have to look in the V2.3.3 path after the indicated folder. Also try to deactivate all others plugins except VC, clear all caches including browser cache, purge cdn files if you’re using and test again.

When you set a background image the theme switch in boxed layout and the backstretchclass it’s added in page source. In order to add this padding only when the background image is set you will need a js script which check if backstretch class exist. This script should load your custom css only if the result is true. This is a complex task and unfortunately I can’t provide a solution now. If you need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you have a redirect for the modal images. Please make sure that you deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, remove any custom code if you’re using and test again. Also you can try to make a local install, only with WordPress, the theme and Visual Composer plugin then test this again.

You can change the thumbs sizes or register new thumbs, in td_config.php http://screencast.com/t/EfgcSYkq in order to get a different aspect ratio. Note that this is a complex task wich require lots of customizations in theme core files and also involve good coding skills. If you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

The latest theme version available on themeforest, V 6.2.2 it’s tested and works fine with WordPress V 4.4 and Visual Composer V 4.8.1. The theme was designed to display only one background click ad. To change this functionality are required lots of customizations in theme’s ad system. This happens because the featured image was deigned to have a 300px width for post template 1 and the text warping around the image like here: http://screencast.com/t/FtnPaRV6P Because you have the article top ad set on the first line the text from post content can’t be displayed around the image. The theme wasn’t tested with this browser so it’s possible to appear some issues with its functionality. However I’ve test your site on the default android browser and it loads fine. I am not sure wy isn’t loaded correct on your side but you can try to clear phone’s cache memory then test again.
