Hello,
This depends on what element you use to show articles. If you use a standard block you can change the categories shown from block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ This affects the mobile version as well. If you use the mobile theme, then you cannot select specific categories for the homepage as he mobile theme uses a latest articles section that displays the latest posts from all categories. At the moment there is no such option for the mobile theme so if you require your mobile site to display the same articles as desktop, then you can disable the mobile theme plugin. https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

Hello,
You can use this custom css to reduce the spacing:
.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full{
min-height: 75px!important;
}
.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full .td-logo{
line-height: 75px!important;
}

Thank you!

Hello,
The social fields require an absolute path to your facebook profile. Please add your facebook page like so:

Hello,

It seems the page title is hidden by the css so it can be shown again by using this cusotm code in the theme panel->custom css box:
.woocommerce .page-title{
display: block!important;
}

But I could not find any description. How did you add the header and description. if you added them with custom code in the theme files, then upon updating, your custom modifications are lost if you do not back-up.
please provide more details to how you implemented the description so I can understand better how to help.

Thank you!

Hi,
Our demo does not use the mobile theme. There is no demo of the mobile theme at the moment. Your homepage shows a grid with 3 featured posts and the latest articles section. Please read this guide to learn more about the mobile theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

Hello,
The standard embed feature done by pasting the video url in the post content is tested to work with the mobile theme. I tested it again and there is no need to use the [embed]YOUTUBE_LINK[/embed] method as youtube videos work on the mobile theme just by pasting the youtube link inside the content.
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. There could be a conflicting plugin that causes the issue.
Thank you!

Hi,
The world news is a youtube video playlist. The videos shown here can be changed in the block settings: http://screencast.com/t/utSSzFD9CKu

Hi,
The options should be available. You probably have it disabled in the screen options: http://screencast.com/t/GvqCrdMUhttp://screencast.com/t/kGalsKikeJ

Hi,

We have no reports of such an issue. Please remove the modification made and delete the theme files altogether. Then create a back-up of your wordpress install and make a fresh install of wp. Then use this method to install the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
The file path should not get changed as our theme will not look for files outside of the newspaper folder.
Let us know if you still have this problem.

Thank you!

Hi,
Well removing a sidebar from a page depends on how that sidebar has been added. If it;s a standard sidebar from the widgets area, then it can be removed from this setting: http://screencast.com/t/1Ajjx4FmQlX
If your sidebar was created in visual composer on a split row. then you will have to remove the elements from it in the page builder and set the row to a single column layout like so: http://screencast.com/t/vPJ9uZsmwC

Hi,

If you want to change a function from functions.php then it gets a bit more complicated as the functions.sphp will not re-write the function in the main theme. You will have to set priorities for them. Maybe this guide will help you understand better how this works: http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/a-guide-to-overriding-parent-theme-functions-in-your-child-theme–cms-22623

Hi,
Did you change the system status parameters like I mentioned in my above reply? Please use this guide and change your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You can check your progress here: http://screencast.com/t/VcINH4bclyqT
Also please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Please also contact your server provider and let him know of this and if there is something that can be done from the server-side.
Thank you!

Hi Chris,
If you want to use a multi-site, you will have to create separate wp installs and separate installs of the theme. You cannot use one install of the theme on both sub-domains.
Please use this guide: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/ultimate-guide-multisite/?tchv=b&utm_expid=3606929-72.AqocGS0YR5Gn_p3r6t6_AA.1&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.ro%2F

Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme will not show widgets shortcodes or any elements that are heavy on page speed. The mobile theme was created to provide the best speed on mobile while maintaining the style of your site, but unfortunately if you use widgets based on shortcodes, they will not show up on the mobile theme.
Unfortunately there is no easy way to make them show so if you require your site to look like the desktop version, we recommend disabling the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately changing the 7 days sorting is not an easy thing to do and there is no solution at the moment. The popular jetpack sorting however uses 2 days instead of 7 so it should provide a viable solution: http://screencast.com/t/TjFuG82iWk9

Hi,
Please provide a link to your site and more details to how you want to make change the height. Is it the whole header or just the header menu?

Hi,
Please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and if you use wordfence, please make sure to set the firewall to learning mode as this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/

Hi,
If this is what you are referring to: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/limit-tags-in-tag-cloudhttps://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_tag_cloud then it’s not a theme related issue so we cannot provide any solution for it as it’s a wp feature. Please check the wp forums.

Hi,

The envato market updater will work with any theme bought from envato. It will not work for any other themes though. The update will not affect any changes you made (except for code customization).

Thank you!

Hello,

We are glad we found a solution for this and it was a bit of a lucky shot as there could not have been one at all without serious code modification. Unfortunately old browsers are hell for every web developer out there. When you create anything web related, you have to make it compliant with all of the current technologies and in most cases this means it will not run on old browsers. Unfortunately the end users do not understand this issue and still use these old versions not knowing that technology advances and they have to keep up and not stick to a particular version of any software. Updates are a key element.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
I’m not sure I follow you. There is no way of converting our theme files to pure html. Our theme as any other wordpress code is created in php. There is no html version. If you want to do this we suggest hiring a freelancer to help out as we cannot provide any customization services at the moment.
Thank you!
