Did you by any chance change themes recently? As if you have, our theme only counts the views from the moment you installed the theme. It cannot count back the views from your previous theme, but analytics does.
If this is not the case, then a js error could also break the counter and make it not work as expected. Please provide a link to your site so we can inspect the count and see if it increments.

I ran a few tests with this but there is no easy way to do it. Unfortunately if you want to revert to the mobile menu from newspaper 6, you will have to downgrade your theme to the previous version. The menu was changed altogether. There is no more old menu to revert to with simple customization.

Unfortunately the Link patrol needs to be replaced with a plugin that will not cause issues with our theme. I cannot make any recommendations though as we have not tested any link management plugins.

it will require you to edit the theme files in order to set them up though. There is no way of implementing them from the theme panel.

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Some of the plugins that worked in newspaper 6 could not work in newspaper 7. Let us know if you still have issues with this.

I assume your language does not use spacing for the words. The excerpts cut the titles and content based on spacing between words. If there is no space, then it is detected as a single big word. Please deactivate all plugins including jetpack, as not all jetpack options are tested. Jetpack is a monster of a plugin that has lots and lots of features. We have not tested all of them and there are some that do not (mobile theme and photon) There could be more as jetpack is ever expanding/. Test this without plugins and see the results. If the problem is still there, please also test this on a WP default theme like twentysixteen to see if the issue is only with our theme installed.

The social counter needs to be updated as well. The new version of the theme requires the new version of the social counter so please deactivate and delete your current version and install it again from the theme;s plugins section.

if you edited the demo content and did not create your own after you installed the demo, then this will hapen as the demo content will be removed. the best way is to create a back-up of your page by copying the page layout from text mode and pasting it in a new page. Basically create a duplicate of the content that will get removed. This is a common problem people have as it;s easier to edit the demo than create content from scratch but the downside is in this type of situations when people change demos after they already have their site set-up.
Please create duplicates of the content that gets removed so you no longer have edited demo content on your site.
(there is no way of installing a demo without the content being removed)

There is no deactivation process, you can simply remove the theme from your old domain and activate it on the new one. There is no special procedure as long as you do not keep the theme active on 2 domains at once for prolonged periods of time.
