Hi,
Please follow this topic too see how to fix this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/30753674/error-while-sending-query-packet. This is not theme related but rather a would seem like a misconfiguration in MySQL
Thank you!

Hello,
Please check your sidebars in the widgets area and see if there are elements present inside them. WordPress will strip the sidebars of elements if special characters or language specific characters are used in the sidebars. When you create your sidebar, please only use standard letters without symbols such as !@#$%^&*()_}{L{“:>< Let us know how it goes. Thank you!

Hi,

Please make sure you have the thumbnails active in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/hyq216nO3 (if you change settings here regeneration of the thumbs will be required again)
You can try to use an alternative regeneration plugin like ‘force regenerate’
You can also try to disable all plugins excepot visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files to rule out a plugin conflict.
If your thumbs still do not show up, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect your site. Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not support sub-pages. Pages do not work like taxonomies. You can create multiple pages for your guides and filter a block to show pages. You can name the block health guides and add separate pages to it: http://screencast.com/t/I8dCu3p9C
result: http://screencast.com/t/fqHysuff9
Or as an alternative, use posts within a health guides category.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi,
The theme uses the name and the slug so the category can be hidden. The name needs to be “Featured” and the slug “featured” If you create a category like that, then it will work like the one that the theme creates by default. In your case if you already had a category named featured, it is possible the theme did not create it. We have not tested this however.
Thank you!

Hi,
This i’m not sure as we have no reports of this yet. Our theme does not affect the wordpress thumbnails. There is no code inside the theme files for it. It could have been a coincidence and the thumbs being changed by a plugin maybe. I can’t say for sure.
Thank you!

Hi,

The modules and blocks were created by us on the visual composer layout, and yes it;s pretty limited, but we try to do our best with what we have.
1) You can filter cpt-s in blocks but not taxonimoes. The blocks were designed to work with the standard category taxonomyu and not a custom taxonomy. You can either filter all the CPT type like for example an event or a place, but not it;s category.
You can have multiple cpt’s in one block at the same time by adding more post types with a comme like: post, event, palce, etc…and selecting multiple ‘posts’ If you keet the post id filter empty, all of the posts from the CPT’s you filtered will be grabbed in the block sorted by your selected sorting method. latest, random, oldest, etc. If you want specific posts, you can add multiple id’s in the post id filter ex: 45, 48, 245, 56, 675, etc.
2) Unfortunately the blocks are not centralized. You cannot edit them in one place and affect all the other blocks. Pages do not work that way. posts or categories do, but not pages that use visual composer.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
I have not tested this on the mobile theme so the css most likely needs to be changed. Please provide a link to your site so i can create the css code directly by inspecting the element.
Thank you!

Bogdan B.

You do that with another css code:

@media(max-width:767px){
.td-page-content, .td-post-content, .woocommerce #tab-descriptiony{
color:red!important
}
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6{
color:red!important;
}
}

Thanks.

Hi,
Make sure you add the slug as well http://screencast.com/t/KWGjWgmXknc
Sorry for not referring to it earlier.
Thank you!

Hi,
We tested our theme and we do not seem to have this issue on our side. The theme is optimized for best performances so please try this without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also make sure you increase the system status parameters like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If you still have issues with this, try to create a sub-domain and make a fresh install of wp and the theme for testing purposes.
Thank you!

Hi,
Please make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper first: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Then please increase your system status parameters like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know if you still have trouble afterwards.
Thank you!

Hi,
Please provide more details to your request so we can understand better how to help. Please be more explicit.
Thank you!

Bogdan B.

Hi,
The theme will know which posts are featured if they are added to the ‘featured’ category . if you do not have this category, you can simply create it and name it “Featured” Then the theme will remove this category from all places so it will not show up. It will be just for sorting purposes. (the theme comes with this predefioned category but people usually just delete it)
Also make sure you add the slug like so: http://screencast.com/t/KWGjWgmXknc
Thank you!

Hi,
We did not test any guest posting plugin but a quick search through our forums helps in finding what other use.
Alternatively you could try a few of them out and see how they work: http://screencast.com/t/2S68T3XFtLd

Hi,
Please provide an example of what settings are you trying to change. The background can only be changed for the menu bar and footer. not the content. If the mobile menu colors are the ones that are not changing, please clear your cache and check again. sometimes cache affects theme settings. Also, if you use the mobile theme, the settings from here will not apply: http://screencast.com/t/pQI05NmqfNZ9 These are for the responsive version for mobile. If you use the mobile theme, all settings have to be done here: http://screencast.com/t/aAjqa1naan0
Thank you!

Hello,
Elements that are not translated by wordpress can be translated from the theme panel’s translations section: http://screencast.com/t/3JUnrYN0Z3qf If you scroll down that page, you will find the “follow us” and “about us” entries that you can translate.
Thank you!

Bogdan B.

OK,
I will pass this inforamtion on to our developer team and they will be the ones that decide what gets implemented. If they consider this a must, it will be fixed in the next version of the theme.
Thank you for your suggestion.

Hi,
These values from wordpress have to be set to default which is http://screencast.com/t/MEXr3shd otherwise some theme elements will not work properly. Please set them like in the screenshot provided.
Thank you!

Hi,
Well I’m not sure what is the css supposed to apply to. If your link has the front-2 class like < a class = "front2" href="#" > then it should get the style from the css. Also you use letter-spacing twice in the same code. You just need one. Plerase provide a link to your site pointing to the post/page with the link you are trying to style so I can inspect it and see why the css does not apply.
Thank you!

Hi,
I can’t say for sure as there is no official plan for it at the moment. However we are always looking to update and improve our themes so maybe in a future version we will be able to implement it, jut not at the moment.
Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately visual composer is not recommended on posts in our theme as it was not tested. you can activate visual composer for posts from the VC settings role manager, but you could get mixed results. We only designed the blocks to work on pages, not on posts.
In order to remove the gradient on the slide element and the icons visibility, you can use this css:
.td_block_slide .td-image-gradient:before{
display:none!important;
}
.td_block_slide .td-icon-left, .td_block_slide .td-icon-right{
opacity:1!important;
}

Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately there is little you can do about adblock. If you want to change the classes in our theme for the ads, then you can do so from the theme files and style.css. It will be no walk in the park as there are many places to edit. For this to be easier, you will need a text editor that can search for strings. Just the td_block_ad_box class is found and used 184 times in the theme files: http://screencast.com/t/UUWSldAd
As you can imagine, there is no easy solution I can provide for this as it’s quite a big modification to make.
Thank you!
