Hello,

1) You can use this css to change the color, background-color and hover color of the category tags:
.td-animation-stack:hover .td-post-category{
background-color:red!important;
}
.td-post-category{
color:white!important;
background-color:grey!important
}

2) You can use this css to hide the container that is creating the space on mobile:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-banner-wrap-full{
display:none!important;
}
}

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hello,
Unfortunately the plugin is not tested and we have no idea of it’s functionality. If it’s a free plugin, you can test it out on your own with a bit of trial and error and see how it goes. If it’s a paid one, then maybe one of our users can help out if they have experience with it.
Thank you!

Hello,
Page speed is a very ‘individual’ case and it depends on a number of things starting from the hosting you use. We have a guide on how to increase it but you will have a bit of reading to do on this topic. (many online resources on the subject)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
As a note on the speedbooster plugin:

Hello Sean,
The posts appear multiple times on your homepage because you have the same filtering on them. Please try to change the categories or apply an offset to your blocks: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
As for the social icons, they cannot be moved above the big grid as the sidebar only begins below it. The big grid will not display well on a single column.
Please follow this guide to see how to use visual composer properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello,
The ad system in our website is based on these ad spots: http://screencast.com/t/WtlLvXZyp92U
You can read more about our ads here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ad/
On pages you can use an ad box element from visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/v22dKUeF and then you will have to select one of the theme ad spots where you have the ad set: http://screencast.com/t/EtCsXXOzZJ
Thank you!

Hello,
In order to add icons to the menu, you need a plugin called font awesome 4 menus: https://wordpress.org/plugins/font-awesome-4-menus/

Hello,
The htaccess solution is the proper one but you need to copy the code over from stackexchange not the forum (our forum will convert the commas and they will not work in your htaccess properly)
Please copy the code from here:
http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/71630/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co
Add the code like this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
Thank you!

Hello,
If you use a custom ad, please only use this method and only use the div’s for the mobile version:

Hope this helps.

Hello,
The “special” characters I mentioned above is a well known wp issue.
I know your own language specific characters do not seem like “special characters” but unfortunately this is the case with wp. Anything other than the standard letters and numbers form the English alphabet will cause issues in a few places.
Thank you!

Hello,
The number of posts that appear on category pages can be changed from here: http://screencast.com/t/L7qUQhtH9A but unfortunately you cannot change this number based on categories.
As for the mega-menu, there is no option to order the sub-categories. They are generated automatically so there is no way to have them in a particular order at the moment.
Thank you!

Hi,
If you want to remove the author box comment count, you need to delete it from these 2 files:

Thank you!

Hi,

You can use this code:
.td-main-content-wrap{
background-color:#e8e8e8;
}

This will aplly for all pages though. If you only want it to aplly to the homepage then put a ‘.home’ and a space before the code.

Thanks

Hello,

Please try one more thing. If you have a child theme installed, please just install visual composer from the main theme. If this is not the case then please try to install the plugin via ftp. You need to unzip the indicated file here: http://screencast.com/t/RQSxW5EBpar then upload the folder js_composer in your-wp-install/wp-content/plugins on your server: http://screencast.com/t/hLQMV3wPi
If you still have trouble with it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can take a look.

Hope this help.
Thanks!

Hi,
Well you can create your button in visual composer like so: (there is a button element):
http://screencast.com/t/lCGknneqoDu and then you can copy the shortcode for the button from classic and text mode: http://screencast.com/t/4eI8iDaCLBF Then paste the code inside your post: http://screencast.com/t/rPr4QTll6X
Result: http://screencast.com/t/mOzX8EUUW
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hello,
Changing from newspaper 4 has it’s downside unfortunately as it will be almost like switching to another theme as the code was changed drastically since version 4. The best thing to do is to delete your current theme and upload the new version directly via ftp and then simply run the update script from the main theme panel.
Thank you!

Hi Paul,
I did not mean to offend or patronize you in any way nor do I intend to. The solution I provided above only requires you to copy the red piece of code I provided and paste it in here: http://screencast.com/t/kepmNnZ4u
That’s about it. Now your images should be centered for post styles default, 1 and 2: http://screencast.com/t/cCDvsYOZX
On different post templates, the image will position differently but it will not need changes as the images will be centered.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hi,
In this case, maybe you can find a few resource online to force your images to link to the media file: http://wpsites.net/wordpress-tips/5-ways-to-change-default-image-links/
Sorry but our theme has no such option. You cannot reset all images links from the theme settings.
Thank you!

Hello,

This is the closest you can get to it with your layout
.vc_icon_element{
display:inline!important;
margin-right: 10px;
}

result: http://screencast.com/t/TYHIftZGZ
If you want to have them align properly it will need further customization and coding. I’m not sure how you implemented them but you need to add a few html div tags and set classes to them so they can be targeted with css.

Thanks.

Hello,

You will have to edit a few more containers for it including the logo container and ad container.
Try this css instead:

.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo img{
max-height: 45px!important;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo{
height:45px!important;
margin: 0px 28px 0px 28px!important;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-recs{
margin:0!important;
}
.td-header-rec-wrap{
min-height: 45px!important;
}

Thanks.

hello,
Sorry but your screenshots do not work but in any case, the plugin you are using is not tested to work with our theme. We have no idea of the plugin functionality and we cannot offer support for plugin implementation. You will have to get some hired help on this one as our theme does not support external featured images by default.
Thank you!
