Hello,
Please provide an example of the slider you wish changed (an URL leading to it) so we can provide the proper css code.
Thank you!

Hello,
The problem originates from visual composer so we cannot say for sure why this happens (It’s the same on a WP default theme). It could be a bug in the plugin so we will have to wait for an update on their part. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately visual composer does not add extra markup for seo on these elements so they are equal on the count of google searches. What you can do though is add your own custom markup in text mode for a text block for example: http://screencast.com/t/dNjbGLyjmrX (this will not appear on the front-end)

Thank you!

Hello,
The banner on the travel demo is added on the row in visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/Z2VHdgzUTuV3
Unfortunately visual composer cannot add sliders on the row, just images.
You can however have a slide instead of the image if you use the same row and add a revolution slider element inside it: http://screencast.com/t/3KvvQR4YaSy You can follow this guide to see how to use the plugin: http://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello,

1) I have checked your website and rev slider seems to work as expected: http://screencast.com/t/KEJUMtBOI
2) Unfortunately you cannot use css to add a custom font. It will have to be loaded by the theme. Adding it in css will not be enough. It will not apply. you can check if a font is loaded by viewing the page source and searching for the font. It should look like this when a custom font is loaded: http://screencast.com/t/dESL9yb3Q0Qn

Thank you!

Hello,
There is a specific code for every block. You can use the block specific class like so:
.home .td_block_1 .td-module-thumb{
display:none!important;
}

Every block has a td_block_x class where x is the block number.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hi,
It seems the css got rewritten either by custom modifications or plugins. First please disable all plugins except visual composer and clear cache to rule out a plugin conflict.
Then please check any customization done to the footer to see if any code does not affect the titles.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hello,
This is a known issue with modules that use the wp default thumbnail and your post does not have a featured image. Please use this method to fix it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/search-error-message-thumbnail-is-not-set/
Thank you!

Hello,

The best way to install our theme is through FTP as it’s the safest way. It does not depend on other software: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

I hope this helps.

Hello Bob,

Something is clearly not right there. Please follow this tutorial on how to properly set up your homepage using visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
This video could also help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss-BEobegAw

Hello,

Please note that speedbooster does not automatically move ALL render blocks to the footer. You will have to manually move a few of them: See part 5 of this tutorial: http://www.alltomtrav.info/dev/daniel-reden-infor-v75-pa-gavletravet-2/
Be careful though as some render blocks need to stay in the header for them to work. You will have to know what you are doing otherwise you could cause more problems than you fix.

Thank you!

Hello,
Please provide more details as to what margins you are trying to reduce and provide a link to your website so we can inspect these margins and provide a css code for it.
Thank you!

Bogdan B.

@cybergetro,
You only need to use the code in the custom css box. Not in both places. If it still does not work, please provide a link to your website so i can inspect it.

@moor
,
The method provided by Radu A does not work anymore as this is a very old topic from march 2014. The code has been changed a lot since then. If you are trying to hide the footer or sidebar on the mobile version like @cybergetro, then please use the code above to do it.
Thank you!

Hello,

In order to make this modification you will have to edit the theme files corresponding to the post templates you use on your posts. Every post template has 2 files for it: http://screencast.com/t/gq6JpObz23Z you will have to copy the comments code from the single_ files to the loops files and place it under the related articles like so:
http://screencast.com/t/6hmQSWFSD and http://screencast.com/t/Dhxa3UYF8

I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately the theme has no option for this kind of ad. You will have to find a plugin for it. Unfortunately we cannot make any recommendations as we have not tested any plugin with this type of ad.

Hello,
It seems you have a 301 redirect on those links. Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer and check any rules in your htaccess for certain redirections you might have set up.

Hello,

This depends on how you set up your site in conformation with SEO and it depends on google itself if it provides the little search option beneath.
Please use a Seo plugin like seo yoast and read their documentation: https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo/
You can also find many resources online for SEO:

Hello,
The admin bar usually does not display in the top of the website if you are not logged in. This could be a plugin issue. Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear cache.

Hello,
Please follow this guide first and make sure you have it set properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
Then if the problem still persists afterwards, please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and check the sharing again so we can rule out a plugin conflict.
Let us know how it goes.

Hello,
I think you are referring to the category tag: http://screencast.com/t/I3gUTccke That does not lead to any post, but the category archive page for that specific category. If you want it to link to something else, you will have to alter the theme files and create conditions for it here: http://screencast.com/t/Fxb9hGEcpox
Thank you!

Hello,
Please disable the photon feature of jetpack. This error is known to be caused by it. As for the second request please provide more details as we have no reports of the text color becoming white on template 5.

menus - reply

Hello,
The difference between the 2 types of menu item come from the way they were created in the menu section of WP.
If you create a “category” menu item, then if you click on it, it will lead to the specific category.
there is another way to do it as a custom link. You create a custom link menu item and in the URL field you simply type # and name your menu item with the name of the category.
This is how the menus you cannot click on our demo were created. http://screencast.com/t/eLr0cJk2Km
Thank you!

Hello Praxs,

It seems the code gets generated by the theme. If the adsense ad is new, you will have to wait a bit until the ad gets displayed. It can sometimes take up to a few days for it to display.
You can test to see if the theme renders ads by using a simple image ad. Please use this ad instead of the adsense for a quick test to see if the theme renders ads:
<div class="td-all-devices"><a href="#"><img src="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/rec300.jpg"/></a></div>

Thank you!

Hello,

1) Unfortunately the grid builder font does not get applied by the settings, so custom css must be used.
2) The excerpt length cannot be changed from the grid builder nor the theme. There is no option for it.
3) The featured image gets grabbed from the posts. You cannot set a featured image inside the grid builder.
4) You will have to use css for them also.
Unfortunately the grid builder still has issues like the rest of visual composer but these issues are not theme related. If you test the grid builder on a WP default theme you will see that it has the same issues. We will have to wait until the developers at visual composer update their plugin and fix these issues.

Thank you!
