I guess that issues happen due because your images get stuck to opacity 0. This error happens due to your untested plugins used by you. Notice that the people get this error when the update is not done properly or they have custom modifications made.
Please make a clean install of the new version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Please restore all modifications you made to the theme, and switch to the main theme if you use a child theme.

Please notice that the number of database queries should not vary only if you made some pages changes and only if you have added more elements on pages, like blocks. For these queries, the theme uses wp_query and it does not have any custom library for database access. We recommend using a caching plugin to avoid loading these tasks every time. Our recommended and tested caching plugin is WP Super Cache.

Yes, it’s okay! Ensure that you have enabled the Smart Sidebar functionality from Theme panel.
