First of all, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. The smart sidebar is a too sensible feature and if your have some untested plugins, the functionality of it might be damaged, sorry! Please keep in mind that all of the untested plugins are dangerous for the theme because all of these can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues, sorry! This is very important. First of all, ensure that your PHP version on your dedicated server is 7.0 or less. Please do not use PHP 7.1 This error occurs when using this version of PHP. Our theme is only compatible up to version 7.0.

You should simply copy and paste the child theme inside the folder with your theme and when you will go to the Theme panel->Appearance->Themes, you will have to see the child theme. Try to follow again these steps and check the results. Otherwise, you should make a new clean install from scratch and install again the child theme and check the results.

My advice is trying to make a new fresh install from scratch via FTP way, disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system, make sure that you are suing the latest version of theme and the PHP 7.0 or less.

So, if you want to make something similar with this, you should use the Header Style 10 with a full logo and then you will bring the same result.

Please check your sidebars in the widgets area and see if there are elements present inside them. WordPress will strip the sidebars of elements if special characters or language specific characters are used in the sidebars.
