What can be done is to use a single post template and then utilize the tagDiv Composer to remove the featured image element. This way, you won’t need to make any adjustments to your articles. The featured image will still be displayed in modules, but it will be removed from the article itself, where the image set within the article will be used instead.

Usually, when this happens, it is used a cache that does not have the option to deliver a separate mobile cache version. Also, sometimes it can be Cloudflare cache, if this is used (the free version does not have a separate cache per viewport).
The simplest way to resolve the problem is to disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, or in case the amp plugin is used to be set to be used only on amp version https://i.imgur.com/mn3AIzp.png also, make sure that the amp redirect is disabled https://i.imgur.com/P5XcUxA.png

For the moment, the ads placed provided by the theme on single post content are top and bottom content and 3 inline ads, for ads inside the content, you can use auto ads (as you already did) or you can try a plugin dedicated for ads that provides more control over the ads inside the post content.
