Hi,
Yes, we have a dedicated custom work department that can assist you with these services. Please contact us at services@tagdiv.com and provide detailed information about the changes you would like to have after switching themes.
It would also be helpful to include temporary wp-admin access, so our colleagues can review your website and check whether there are any custom changes in the theme files that need to be carried over to Newspaper.
Our team will evaluate your request and get back to you with an estimated price and timeframe for the service.
Thank you!

Hi,
If you updated thetheme to version 12.7.4, did you set the theme panel update method?
Here is what you can try for the errors: go to plug-ins and disable and delete all td plugins you are using, go to Newspaper > plugins and reinstall and activate the plugins that were on the website before. In most situations, this resolves the problem.
Let me know the results.

Hi,
Unfortunately, we’re not sure what exactly could be causing the issue. If this happens only on CPTs, I’d recommend checking for possible conflicts with any additional plugins you have installed.
It could also be related to the plugin used to create the CPT. Another thing to check is the element you’re using to display the shortcode. Are you using Column Text / Text with Title, External Shortcode, or Single External Shortcode? Normally, the shortcode elements should be used so the system can properly identify the IDs related to the CPT and display the WPSummarize content associated with that specific CPT.
Thank you!

Hi,
You do it right, checking that option https://prnt.sc/JWrlRDQllhrF in the live results should exclude the pages – https://prnt.sc/uQWa8Zm4fDsV, but now you should also adjust the search template because once you click on the search button or view all results, you’ll be redirected to the search page. This should be edited with tagDiv Composer – https://prnt.sc/d63D83cEfzdY select the search input and in “Post Type” section set the post type you like in your search (for articles will be “post” https://prnt.sc/vyl9rrBbBrYa ) do the same for the loop element set the post type you want to return from search – https://prnt.sc/gxDseFt6kcMS
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
The cov-19 Italy Report demo has the footer in a light gray color – https://prnt.sc/zJHG4_mdROzw, so if you want to change it edit the page with tagDiv Composer, and go down to the footer section – https://prnt.sc/Jgt5cidUtwfd the background color can be chnaged by selecting the row and checking the css tab – https://prnt.sc/ai6SNJmohY8p after that you need to chnage the color on the elements from the footer, just select each element in part and look for the Style tab there you’ll have options to change the color.

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no guide for how to move from Newsmag to Newspaper, but I will try my best to help you.
First, you need to make sure that you have a full backup for your website and database.
Now what you need to know is that during this process some elements, design from your website can be changed, so here are the steps that you need to do:
Right now you have the Newsmag theme activated, what you need to do is to install via WordPress the Newspaper theme, but do not activate it. After the theme is installed, go in plugins and disable all tagDiv plugins you have enabled and delete them, after that you need to activate the new theme (Newspaper theme) and make sure that you update and activate tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard pack (those plugins should bring back the website look and can be installed from Newspaper > plugins), also enable the rest of tagDiv plugins that you are using -> https://i.imgur.com/MvKx52B.png
I hope this will help you!

Hi,

If you moved from one theme to anothere is possible that teh theme you had to use a builder that has its own shortcodes, so moving to a different theme, all taht have been made with the old theme builder will no longer work on the new theme and will be need to be rebuilt or to use a pre-build webiste.

“Error at rows: 2(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content … “: Most of the time, the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme; therefore, after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page, the next time you try to edit it, you’ll get that error. The simplest and fastest way to resolve it is to use a page/template revision – https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/ (in this case will be a post template revision).
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
WPBakery is a bundled plugin provided with the theme for older users who created pages using it. Some theme users have also created articles with this builder. However, it is not required, as the theme has its own builder, tagDiv Composer, which handles the theme layout.
If WPBakery is updated to the latest version, it should work with PHP 8+. We even recommend using PHP 8.3 for both the theme and WordPress.

Thank you!

Hi,
To achieve what you want, use a row with one 12/12 column, and in that column set the featured image to the one you want. After that, set a inner row that will have the width auto (those shousld be inline), inside the innerow set the rest of the elements you want to display on the module, like title, excerpt …

Hi,
I believe that after the theme update, not all theme plugins that have been used before teh update have been installed/ updated. Please go to Newsapper > Plugins and see if you have the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin enabled, if not, install and activate it. I believe you had it before the theme update.

Hi,
The theme uses admin-ajax to handle the request to the database. Now each block from a page will make it’s on requets, so what you can do is to reduce the number of blocks on your pages.
What you should do is to use a good cache plugin, and I see that you already use CDN/Cloudflare.
Another option that can help is the flex blocks the cache option https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-flex-blocks-cache-option/. This option will cache those block requests and deliver them as long as the cache is set (is recommended that the cache expiration time to be longer if you create only a few articles per day).
Another solution is to reduce the number of ajax usage on the website, as those are the ones that will make requests to load more posts.
So ajax features like ajax pagination – https://i.imgur.com/EfKi0za.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/sMeot5s.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/vrJq3BC.png
The ajax menus – https://i.imgur.com/n0K9hCN.png
Also, the header live search makes requests when it is used – https://i.imgur.com/1ZvDwZx.png This can be deactivated when using a cloud header template. We added an option specially for it, as it can cause increased load on large websites.
The mega-menu pagination – https://i.imgur.com/T8kYzu4.png This can be deactivated when using cloud header templates, an option for this was also added for the same reasons mostly.
You can disable the ajax view count from here -> https://i.imgur.com/BIwbscU.png
Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no filter as you mentioned. However, this can be achieved by creating three categories with the following names: Video, Audio, and Normal, and then filtering the flex blocks based on those categories.

Thank you!

Hi,
I see, cloud you please do a test, use only the theme plugins and create a new page and try to import that section there. In case that is not working, then it will need to create a full backup and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access to further investigate the problem. Also include a link to this topic toidentify you faster.
Thank you!
