Hi kinisis, indeed there seems to be a problem with the tiktoc icon, this can not be load, I made a notice to our developers to check those problems and file a fix.
The colors for social networks can be change only with custom css:
.td-header-sp-top-widget i.td-icon-youtube:hover {
color: #bb0000;
}
This code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.

Yes that is the file path to the date from top bar and yes it can be set in a child theme to keep the changes after theme update.
As for the problem to translate the date in arabic, I think that you use the code from here https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/179126/translating-publish-dates-to-arabic I’m not a developer, but it should work.

There is no bad version, but is old and the code from it is not compatible with the latest WordPress code, that is way you need to update the theme.
Also if you didn’t made changes in theme files, then will be no setting lost, but we still recommend to make a full backup before theme update.

I see that you use Newspaper and not Newsmag theme.
