Hi ib4ud2014, I checked this problem with my mobile, but I can not see any black box, but this maybe it’s appear when you have a slow connection to internet.
Make sure that when you set a logo on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/FreOBVT.png you set a logo with a low resolution that do not need to be resized. If you have a big logo it can be from it, until the logo is resize.

Please make a test, disable and delete tagDiv Composer and reinstall it from Newspaper > plugin, after that make a new post and set there the Instagram links and check the results.

Hi arnextera, yes, the Newspaper theme has an option that will update the theme automatically, but for this the theme will be set in maintenance mode and will download the new version using envato_download it will install it and activate, after that you need just to update and activate theme plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/BXdEdz0.png
Usually when you get “envato_download_delete_all_files_upload_all_files” there is some plugins, a firewall or security options that are blocking the automatic update, please check these in your website and host.
Also a solution will be to use the manual update using FTP/cPanel

The child theme is coming with our theme package, you need to download from ThemeForest the theme with all files after that unzip the package and in the code folder will find the Newspaper-child.
The post template files ( single-template and the loop-single) can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single or if you want to use the default post style you need to get it from here wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/single.php and loop-single.php

Our theme is using as featured image only the images that are set manually as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/ The theme will not pickup the first image, is not construct in that way, sorry!

Also you can set the Instagram , but note that is very possible that the number of followers to be 0 because Instagram restricted the access to there api, but using Instagram feeds should work.

Unfortunately for that settings backup from Import/Export there is no option for the moment, you can remove the code store for backup in database, but this will not help wit the cache and it will be store another backup when you’ll make new settings in theme panel.
Maybe you can use the methods provide in those articles to remove/clear the transient cache:

Unfortunately for the moment mobile theme plugin is quiet limited, there are only few settings that you can do and adding new elements in footer section is not one of them, sorry. You can edit only the elements from Theme panel > mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/qG3Pnj9.png

The new update was all about the Instagram, we need to make a new implementation to make it to work again and was fixed and security issue, you can check these in our changelog from here -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
As I know, our developers are working on mobile theme now and I thing that this problem will be solve once that the mobile theme plugin will be updated by our developers.
