reggiesaylor did you backup your database? because all the changes are set there, if you had a demo install, after that you install another one, after that you uninstall the demo will remain without demos and if you restore a backup only on them files, this will not set back the demo settings in database, so you’ll need to reinstall the demo that you had.
Make sure that you always make a full backup to your theme ( theme and database).

If these 404 pages is a cloud template you can set the noindex from seo yoast -> https://i.imgur.com/oDLDZF1.png -> or on individual cloud templates https://i.imgur.com/IsWZU5y.png after that you should call gooogle to re-index your website links.
How to noindex the default 404 Error page?
I am not able to remove noindex line from WordPress site.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict ( or some custom code ) that caused this problem, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

The problem that you have was related to Newspaper 10 and after the WordPress was updated to 5.3 was related to Newspaper 10.2 too so the Newspaper 10.2 fixed the problem,m please make the theme update.
