I can’t explain what Google does unfortunately. They say that if a date is available in the page, it might show in the search results, if this information is considered useful https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/publication-dates Since you don’t want this to happen you could try that code. Maybe the date will not show up anymore eventually.

You could display events with the theme blocks. Those aren’t just for posts, they can display pretty much any post type, like events.

Most of the things I suggested apply to that website as well.

I checked the posts you mentioned. While they are pretty long posts, the caching does the job very nicely. You are getting loading times of half a second on all the posts from the website that I checked -> https://prnt.sc/FwCdgaVmQZUX That’s a great job. Or do they load differently for you? Maybe after clearing the cache the first visit will be slower, but once the cache is created there is a consistent loading time of half a second.

What I could add to the above, if you are using popups to load other pages or custom content, those can also be delayed from loading -> https://prnt.sc/9hVlEidCHOFD This can matter a lot. So delaying the mega-menus, delaying the popups, delaying the footer. This provides a faster initial loading speed. But please test after using those options, to see if there are any problems.

As far as I know there’s no issue with the post settings currently. If the settings are truly missing on your website, maybe it’s some kind of plugin conflict. That’s the first thing to check.

If you used a cloud header template before, it couldn’t have just disappeared. From what I see using the wayback machine, you used to use a standard header template, template 5 -> https://prnt.sc/VkP4uig1R0m_ That kind of template requires this plugin -> https://prnt.sc/rQ-ehi9kAEad then you can use it again. If that standard pack plugin is not active, then yes, some settings from the theme panel won’t be available.

Assuming you did set a mobile page for this page https://glostv.com/glostv-assistir-tv-online-ao-vivo-gratis and it doesn’t look exactly the same, then it means the mobile page isn’t being served. The page looks exactly the same for me on desktop and mobile. I can’t see any differences.

One thing that can cause issues with dedicated mobile content, such as mobile pages, is the caching. For example if the desktop page is cached, then it will be served to everyone regardless of the device they are using to access it. I believe you are using litespeed, please activate this option -> https://prnt.sc/qIm-aoyqUiIe and clear the cache. Then the desktop page and the mobile page should be served properly.

I should mention again, that the purpose of using a mobile page is if you want to display something different on mobile. If not, there is no reason to use them.

The posts use a cloud post template, that’s not actually a sidebar it’s a column with blocks in it. It can be called a sidebar however.

You have two choices for pages:

1. If you build them with wordpress, same as the submit page you mentioned, then the pages can use widget sidebars. In that page for example there is a sidebar, but there’s nothing in it. Please add widgets -> https://prnt.sc/C_YAmGjf59HK

Many of our users have updated already. There are no major issues that we identified, only a few minor ones, like the new visual revisions feature not working https://publishpress.com/blog/revisions/wordpress-70-revisions/ But this may not work because of other plugins as well.

If you want to make sure that there are no issues after updating, you could test first on a staging/testing clone of the website, if possible. If all is well there, then you can update on the main website.

I see you are using Litespeed which is a very good plugin. You could try the option to delay the JS https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/pageopt/#js-settings-tab this one here https://prnt.sc/-qSiTgI_hUMf which would make it faster, but it could also cause problems with how the page looks or works, please test it carefully.

The images are optimized and they are lazyloaded, which is very good.

One suggestion I would make is to delete the standard pack plugin -> https://prnt.sc/ARUZDej2rw2C this is not required for the theme demo you installed. Deleting it it stops resources from it from being loaded unnecessarily.

The publish date and the modified date are loaded by Yoast https://prnt.sc/CBkav9yy22d8 and from what I see there’s no option within the plugin to disable them specifically. For me this code from here worked -> https://pastebin.com/rPRpfdvd I added it in the theme functions file, but it can be loaded with a code plugin as well. You could try it if disabling those dates for the homepage is what you want to do.

The results may vary. Either the date will disappear from the search results page after some time, or Google may try to find a different date in the code of the page and display that one. This last possibility may be worse, as it could just display random date from the page if there is one.

@susanapri Maybe it’s the same issue from above, but there was no WordPress 7 back then. I see my colleague Calin provided a code to fix it in that case, as it was the best solution to avoid making changes on the website or disabling plugins. You could test the same solution to see if it works.

So what you are doing requires having a custom class for the title in the post pages. In that case you need to add one. I see you added it already, there is a custom class on the titles now. Well, if it’s required, then it has to be done. Besides modifying the core file you mentioned, or maybe outputting your own custom title directly in the post template, I don’t think there’s a different way to do it.
