Hi,

Only as admin we can investigate properly, other user roles can’t have access to the theme panel for example. This would be common practice in such cases, sorry if this offended you. It was not my intention to do so.

I remember trying to find solution to optimize the images served by Instagram, but no definite solution was found at the time

Maybe those ads have a condition to not appear on mobile for some reason. Also are there any errors if you check in the browser console when emulating a mobile phone?

Post a link to the website where these are supposed to display so I can take a look as well.

Hi,

For me it looks good in Chrome as well – http://prntscr.com/mhuzsv
Just like in Firefox – http://prntscr.com/mhv0hh

Maybe try in a different computer as well, or clear the browser cache and remove extensions.

Thanks

Hi,

The respective plugin doesn’t have to be active permanently. It has to be used for the content previously created in the website, before the theme was installed
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

After the theme is installed it will automatically create thumbnails
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
You can remove the plugin after regenerating, no need for it anymore.

Hi,

That is correct, CSS code can be entered in the Theme panel->Custom CSS code section. It will be loaded and applied in the website.

Hi,

We will try to add more documentation and guides to present the new theme features, as soon as possible.

1. Now you can build the header while editing a page or a cloud template, directly in the composer. There are now header shortcodes which can be used – http://prntscr.com/mhuojb

2. With the header manager you can manage the header templates
http://prntscr.com/mhupzj
In the cloud library there are now header templates – http://prntscr.com/mhuqa7
These can be imported and used in pages and cloud templates.

3. While designing a cloud post templates now you can choose to auto load more posts
http://prntscr.com/mhur8i

4. New icons were added in the theme font, they can be used anywhere an icon option is available, for example the header logo element – http://prntscr.com/mhuub1

Thanks

Hi,

By default pages cannot have tags and categories, only post can. The theme blocks can display posts and pages, but only the posts can be filtered by categories and tags, the theme will not recognize the categories set for pages even if these are added by various means.

The slide can show pages just like any other block or grid – http://prntscr.com/mhuk9r
You could enter specific page IDs in the ID filter to show specific pages. Pages can have featured images and these will be displayed in the theme modules.

Thanks

Hi,

That message could be displayed if there is/was a multi-purpose style set for the top bar, and the tagDiv composer has been disabled – http://prntscr.com/mht7mk
Please check if the tagDiv composer ism active or change the top bar style to a different style.

Thanks

Hi,

The top grid is supposed to show featured posts, now it is working properly. Previously there was an issue reported by some users, which is now fixed
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/featured-posts-in-home-page-mobile-disappeared-after-update-9-2-1-to-9-5/

If this is not what you are referring to please let me know.
Thanks

I don’t quite understand what those are or what you want to combine. If it’s just an image, then use just the image HTML with no link around it
http://prntscr.com/mht150

Simion C.

Hi,

So that should go where the featured image code is? That would be here
http://prntscr.com/mhsvac

Maybe you could consider using a sharing plugin that offers such an option in it’s settings and avoid code modifications. There could be such plugins.

Thanks

Hi,

The automatic update process that was implemented for the tagDiv composer and social counter plugins still seems to fail in some cases. In most cases it works however.

If it fails there will be an update button for them in the theme plugins panel
http://prntscr.com/mhsfy6
So after a theme update check there and update all the plugin that have to be updated.

The optional speedbooster plugin can be found in the plugins folder from the theme package
http://prntscr.com/mhsgxn
It has to be installed manually if you want to use it. If you have a specific problem, some m ore details about it would be very helpful.

Hi,

Please check if the WordPress Address (URL) is the same as the Site Address (URL) in WordPress general settings – http://prntscr.com/mhs8sb

Also you could check the code present in the htaccess file present on the server. If possible back it up and test with a default htaccess (remove code found and re-save permalinks in WordPress to generate default code).

In case the problem remains, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, also cPanel access. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

In posts as well, post templates can be built with the composer and the cloud library plugin. So the rows containing the post content and sidebar can be stretched, you can set custom widths, just like in pages.
Please check the guide carefully – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Also experiment with the cloud single templates here, preview and edit one to see what the possibilities are
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single

Regarding reviews, only posts can have reviews. Use a cloud post template, set review elements from the composer which can be saved as shown. You will still have to add the actual review criteria in the post edit screen – https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/
Maybe this will change in the future so one can make the full review directly in the composer, I can’t say for sure at the moment.

Regarding the gutter, note that split rows have a column gap setting, so for example if the post content is in one column and the sidebar in another, that setting can be used to customize the space between them – http://prntscr.com/mhrv83

The featured image element can have a custom width as well – http://prntscr.com/mhrzm7
You can design the post template in any way you want. As a note, be sure to check how the template will look on other devices – http://prntscr.com/mhrzzi

About the ads, I made some inquiries and this will be looked over as soon as possible. It is true that no changes have been made or settings added for quite a while in this matter, this will change.

A header builder is now available in update 9.5, along the infinite load for posts which is a much requested feature.
In the footer you can display pages, here are some footer designs made by us
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Footers
So a builder would not be so necessary when the footer can be designed with the composer.

There are many plans to add new setting, but these take time to create and test. Gradually there will be more. Also we have plans to optimize the theme for increased performance overall, we have to be careful what is implemented in the theme having this in mind.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

The 9.5 update was released yesterday. So the option I was referring to is now available when using a cloud header template – http://prntscr.com/mhrnnqhttp://prntscr.com/mhro25

There will be documentation added in this matter as soon as possible. Let me know if you have more questions or you need help with anything.

Hi,

There was a modification made to the top grid in the mobile theme. Before, if the featured category was deleted the grid would display latest posts, which resulted in duplicate posts. The grid showed 3 latest posts, which also appeared below it in the latest articles section.
But if the featured category contained no posts the grid was not shown. Now it is the same if the featured category is deleted.

Maybe you deleted the featured category if the grid is not shown. If that is the case you can recreate it and add posts in it – http://prntscr.com/mhqyc3

Thanks

One way of doing it is like this, first an empty row with a background image set and some padding (set the padding values as you want)
http://prntscr.com/mhqr1t
Then add another row below it, and set a negative margin top to it (I used -150px you can use the value you want) – http://prntscr.com/mhqrst
In that second row I recommend to use a flex block which has more settings, and a similar design like the demo can be achieved with it
http://prntscr.com/mhqse9http://prntscr.com/mhqsk6
You can customize the flex block in many ways further, it has many options. In the demo block 5 is used with additional CSS, but the same can be resulted with a flex block.

Each paragraph (p tag) will have a margin bottom set by the theme. The theme uses a value of 26px
https://www.screencast.com/t/NYhsRZKH8N
A default WordPress theme adds a 4.5em margin between paragraphs
https://www.screencast.com/t/pNga3A77jVWm

To modify this default margin there is no setting at the moment. If a setting specifically for this is requested more by theme users it will be added.

However it could be done with a simple code in the Theme panel->Custom CSS section, with the value you want in it. For example this code will set a margin bottom of 15px to all the paragraphs in the post content

.td-post-content p {
margin-bottom: 15px;
}

Regarding the images, what exactly is happening? Where are the images not loading? A link to where the problem is happening would be most helpful. Let me know.

Hi,

There could be errors, check with the browser inspector in the console when this happens. Also try to uninstall the composer and install it again.

Since you are on localhost, you could make a fresh install of WordPress and install the theme and theme plugins, check if it works then. Next import the database there, install the same plugins etc.

Thanks

Hi,

So the blocks should have different titles than what I am seeing at the moment
http://prntscr.com/mhdgkl
The blocks should have the title that is set for them while editing the page with the composer, for example
http://prntscr.com/mhdh1v
Some examples would be helpful if possible, what exactly are you doing and what is happening. Let me know.

Hi,

Currently there is a limit of 30 sub-categories set in the theme code
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wont-show-all-sub-categories/

However with the upcoming header builder which will be introduced in the next update, there will be an option to choose the number of sub-categories, while creating the menu
http://prntscr.com/mhddbq
The new update should be released this week. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks
