Hi,

Shortcodes can be entered in text elements, like column text or text with title. There were some issues before with this functionality but in the latest theme version they are fixed. So there should be no problem in the matter if you use the latest theme version.

For PHP inside the page you could first add this capability to the WordPress text widget
https://carriedils.com/extend-wordpress-widgets-without-plugin/
Widgets can be displayed in pages with the widget sidebar element. There might be other ways besides this method.

Thanks

Hi,

From what I can see there are ads in the homepage, also in the rest of the website. Did you enter a code or script provided by Google in the theme header for example? From what I know only Adsense auto placed ads can appear where they want
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/160534?hl=en

They look like auto ads – http://prntscr.com/m9zgpi from what I can see.

Ads with defined placement will appear only in the spot the code is entered. Maybe you used a code for auto placed ads, that would explain why they appear randomly in the website.

Hi,

It would depend on what are the customizations you are planning to do. They may work properly or they may cause problems. If you want to modify theme files you could use a child theme, these are the files that can be modified in a child theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

Note that if theme files are modified directly (in the main theme) these modifications will be lost after a theme update when the files will be replaced.

Also to take into account is that a modification that will work now, may not work in the future.

Hi,

The social counter will display the likes it finds in the Facebook profile page set in the social counter settings. Here is a guide about using it
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
If the like count is changing in the Facebook page it will change in the social counter.

Or maybe you are referring to the post view counter displayed in the post page? That will count each page view regardless of IP. If it changes after you refresh the page for example, that would mean it is working properly.
This count can be modified for each post in the post edit screen custom fields (if needed)
http://prntscr.com/m9ytya
The functionality of the post view count cannot be changed by a theme setting. It can only be enabled/disabled.

Thanks

Sorry for misunderstanding. Currently there are no issues with the child theme that we are aware of. If you want to use it and you find issues with it, please let us know so we can investigate and fix them.

Hi,

Haven’t seen this unusual issue before, so it is still happening with no other plugins than theme plugins active?

We could take a look if that is the case, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will make a text post and try to identify why this is happening. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Simion C.

Looks alright now, the logo is displayed – http://prntscr.com/m9yh1f
If you are not seeing it, maybe force refresh the page in the browser (Ctrl+Shift+R), or if you check on a mobile clear the browser cache.

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Be sure that the theme requirements are met, also add the code provided at the bottom of the guide in the htaccess file
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Doesn’t look alright from what I can see in the screenshot. If you investigated plugins and the requirements are set properly and the same happens, we could take a look at it. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

@nhatkymua
You can send us an email as well if you already tried the above, mention how we can see the problem in your case. We will take a look.

Hi,

From what I can see there are quite a few ad related errors and some others, in the mobile friendly test tool
http://prntscr.com/m9xxzp
In the website the same errors appear – http://prntscr.com/m9xyn1
Resources that take long to load or provide 404 errors eventually, can potentially slow down the website loading speed and this will lead to problems on mobile (being detected as not mobile friendly by Google). A similar topic here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-have-two-problems-in-mobile-friendly-test/

Maybe investigate the resources blocked by the robots file as the test mentions, and the errors concerning the ads as a first step.

Thanks

Hi,

You can check guides and tutorials found online, we have no documentation for the Google search console.

Here are some guides I found related to issues with the search console
https://moz.com/blog/how-to-fix-crawl-errors-in-google-search-console
https://www.searchviu.com/en/crawl-errors-google-search-console/
https://pepperlandmarketing.com/blog/google-search-console-errors/

From what I can see there are blocked resources by the robots configuration as well
https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-robots-txt/
https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/wordpress-robots-txt
https://alienwp.com/robots-txt-guide/

Hopefully you can solve the problems you are having.

Hi,

So you entered content in the mobile editor as mentioned in the guide? Then the content will appear on mobile.
If there is no content in the mobile editor the page will be empty on mobile when the mobile theme is active
http://prntscr.com/m9xlbk
The mobile editor is found in the page edit screen.

For example the About page on your website, on desktop it has content
http://carloansinfor.com/about-2/
But on mobile it has no content – http://prntscr.com/m9xmq2
Content for mobile pages has to be entered in the mobile editor for each page.

Note that the mobile theme is an optional plugin, you can deactivate it and there will be no problem. When deactivated, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile.

If I still misunderstand something please correct me, and try to specify as many details as possible about the problem.

Thanks

There are font settings for most elements of the flex blocks, check in the style tab
http://prntscr.com/m9xd6g
The font size is the first field on the left. Let me know if you have more questions.

These are block examples created with flex blocks – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks You can preview and even edit them. They can be imported with the cloud library
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Could be a matter of incompatibility between the code you are adding and the theme. The theme has an option for a background ad, this has to be in the form of an image to which a link can be set
https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-ads/
Other than this there is no possibility to set a background ad in the theme. Maybe try with plugins that can set background ads or with other implementations if the one you tried does not work alright. I did not try any so I can’t make a recommendation in the matter.

Hi,

The theme does not send the emails, this is covered by WordPress or if the hosting has a service available for mailing, or with a plugin. From what I know WordPress may fail sometimes.

Here are some topics in the matter and also plugin suggestions if needed

Hi,

1. You could check some guides for it – https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-google-search-in-a-wordpress-site/
https://www.codeinwp.com/blog/add-a-google-custom-search-to-your-wordpress-site/
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-add-google-custom-search-to-wordpress-without-any-plugin-video-tutorial-3967
Maybe there are plugins for this as well.

2. There are no search settings available. The theme uses the default WordPress search which does not have any settings. If you want a search with more control over the results or settings, you could use a plugin
https://colorlib.com/wp/search-plugins-for-wordpress/
Check some free plugins to begin with.

3. The theme doesn’t keep any search statistics. Maybe search plugins have this capability.
Or you could check some plugins that are made specifically for keeping statistics, or Google analytics
https://mekshq.com/wordpress-plugins-for-statistics/

Hi,

From what I can see a logo is set, but it is not found on the server
https://www.screencast.com/t/KDD2LCmx67
The link to that image leads to a 404 – http://dev.wilhard.ru/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Wilhard-Logo-Ru-140×48.png

Please check if the image still exists in the media library.

Hi,

You can copy the contents of the reference page (code) you mention in a new page, this can be done in the backend
https://www.screencast.com/t/nI3Bdz0jWD
Copy it in a new page and edit it with the composer.

Thanks

Hi,

A link to the website where this is happening would be most helpful, if possible. I will inspect it, maybe I can identify why it is happening.

Hi,

That is block header template 4 – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-4/
A block header template can be selected in general, in the theme panel
http://prntscr.com/m8x6nc
Per block it can be done in the composer – http://prntscr.com/m8x78r
The per block setting will override the general setting.

So you want to customize it so that the bottom arrow be in the middle of the block title, something like this would work – http://prntscr.com/m8x5qq

Enter this code in Theme panel->Custom code CSS section

.td_block_template_4 .td-block-title>*:before {
left: 0;
right: 0;
}

All elements that use this block header will be affected by this customization. Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

Only flex blocks have such an option, these blocks have many customization options
http://prntscr.com/m8wusv

For default blocks it could be done with CSS. This should do it, use the color you want
http://prntscr.com/m8x0sq

.td_block_22 .td-excerpt {
color: blue;
}

Thanks

Hi,

That could be caused by the page breaks you added, should be solved by removing them.

Modifications to the page templates or content added in pages that is not part of the composer, can produce such errors. Try to remove what you did previously and check again.

Hi,

The masonry grid seems to be in a post, and this same post is the one with the problem. Since this post doesn’t have any content in it except the masonry grid, maybe this is why it happens. An excerpt seems to be picked randomly from the page source. The other post seems to work alright.

Maybe consider to exclude the respective post in the filter tab of the masonry element, it would have no point to display the post that the user is currently on, in the grid again

They are still configured with default data from what I can see. Edit the page with the tagDiv composer, click on the social counter and replace the default data with your own
https://www.screencast.com/t/pOGjiyBX
Here is a composer guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Hi,

Seems nothing was modified in that website regarding the sticky sidebar, as far as I can see.

If you zoom out a little in the browser it can be seen that the whole sidebar including the top ad are still sticky
http://prntscr.com/m8w3qj

You could maybe design a cloud post template like this
http://prntscr.com/m8w8cs
So basically there will be the ad next to the post title and sharing for example,not sticky. While the rest of the sidebar will be next to the post content, sticky. That may produce the result you want. This will require the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Thanks
