Hi,

We are sorry for this unintended inconvenience. Our team is working to fix this issue in the theme, there is testing being made and it may take a while. As soon as a solution is found it will be implemented in the theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

Where is this slider located exactly? At the moment I see a big grid in the homepage, followed by blocks 3.

The theme grids, blocks, sliders etc will show content according to the filtering and sorting chosen. If you use a latest sorting, then they will display the latest posts from the categories used in the filter.

The situation you are describing could be caused by caching. The theme by itself doesn’t have any caching. Usually it is a caching plugin or server cache that delay the data from being refreshed. So if you are not seeing the latest published posts where they should appear, that would explain it.

I currently see posts from as late as 23.11 in the grid at top
http://prntscr.com/lngys4
Those should be the latest posts from what I can see.

Thanks

Hi,

The easiest thing you could do in this situation is to wrap the table in a simple div, add a class to it
https://www.screencast.com/t/rcy7jFMCJQ
Then using that class set an overflow scroll to it, then the table will be scrollable
https://www.screencast.com/t/jC71tXcT

Code used in example here

.mydiv {
overflow: scroll;
}

Hi,

Removing the theme structured data would be possible if you remove it from the theme code only. Most of the structured data for the posts is located in this file
https://www.screencast.com/t/6afOnwYmF
The theme contains the basic required data, like author, date published, date modified, reviews etc. Only manually could this be removed.

Hi,

We are aware of the issue with the shortcodes, this will be fixed in the coming theme update. The update will be released as soon as possible. There is a fix provided for the issue in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/shortcode-in-text-element-convertered-to-html/
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Hi,

Should be in the composer elements list – https://www.screencast.com/t/kgpB7GR2

Please check if the cloud library plugin is installed and active. Without it the loop elements will not appear
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Hi,

That is usually caused by insufficient WordPress memory
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/

We recommend these values – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
For most users a WP memory of 256M would be enough, try to increase it. If needed you can contact the hosting provider to do it for you, should be no problem.

Hi,

Those are the breadcrumbs, they can be disabled in the theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/breadcrumbs/

Thanks

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

There have been many changes since that version. A changelog can be seen here
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 (bottom of the page)

Most important, please be sure to check the updated theme requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Increase all the parameters if it’s the case.

In similar cases with HTTP 500 errors the issue was caused by insufficient memory. Try to increase it to a value of 256M if possible. Contact the hosting provider to do it for you if needed.

Hi,

There are a few settings for the colors of the news ticker – http://prntscr.com/ln67dg
http://prntscr.com/ln67mq
If these are not enough it may be possible with some CSS. Mention how exactly do you want it to be, or what customization you want to the ticker. I will try to help you.

Hi,

That would be possible with CSS. Each menu has an unique ID which can be used to create CSS for each of the menu items. This topic is somewhat similar
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-move-menu-items/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

If you need help I will try to help you, please mention how exactly would you want them to be.

Hi,

The flex grids were added in theme update 9.1 – https://www.screencast.com/t/sdIGSqr3m
Changelog can be seen here, at the bottom of the page
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

If you use an older theme version than 9.1 the flex grids are not available in the tagDiv composer. Here is an update guide if you need it

Hi,

If you mean that the top menu does not appear on mobile, that would be the intended functionality. The top menu will not appear on mobile.

It could be made to appear with a code, only if the mobile theme plugin is not active. You could try this code for example
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tag-div-composer-doesnt-render-shortcodes/
If that doesn’t work properly, please provide a link to the website so I can try to modify the code.

Hi,

There is a scroll to top button that appears on desktop (on mobile only if the mobile theme plugin is used).

If you want it to appear on mobile without using the mobile theme, try this
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/scroll-to-top-mobile/
It will make it visible after you use that code.

Hi,

Flex blocks have options to set a background for each module, also a shadow around them
http://prntscr.com/ln58zl
You could experiment with flex block 1 which is similar to the ones you are mentioning. Colors can be set for the post title and post meta in flex blocks.

Block 56 you mention is made with flex block 1 and the settings I mentioned above. You can simply import it in your page and use it
http://prntscr.com/ln5bl7
The fonts for the block title can be customized – http://prntscr.com/ln5cv8
The style can be copied from one block to another (same type of block)
http://prntscr.com/ln5dg1
Saving the shortcode will allow you to re-use it as many times as you want. What exactly is the problem when you are saving it?

All blocks have a post limit option and filter settings. What is the problem you are facing here?

Only flex blocks have this many customization settings, the predefined blocks (1->25) do not. These predefined blocks will always look the same as they were designed. With the flex blocks you can recreate all the other predefined blocks.

For example all the blocks in the cloud library are flex blocks

Hi,

That is the post sharing section, it can be disabled in the theme panel for top and bottom of the post page
https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/

That ad looks like the default ad. All ads can be managed in the Theme panel->Ads section. Remove all the demo ad codes from those sections and they will be removed.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,

Or use a cloud post template, there the Related articles and More from author are different elements. You can use only one
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

These cloud post templates can be previewed and even edited here
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single

Hi,

You will have to update the theme, this is a guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The latest version that can be downloaded from themeforest is 9.1. A changelog can be found at the bottom of this page
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

Remember to make a full backup before updating, just to be safe. The most reliable and popular method to update is by FTP, you can use the one you want however.

Note that after you update the tagDiv composer plugin will be automatically installed and activated, so if the website is built with Visual composer there could be some layout issues. In that case please deactivate the tagDiv composer.

Thanks

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

Visual composer (now WPBakery page builder) was the main page builder provided with the theme. Until our own page builder was introduced in version 8. Our page builder is built from scratch, it is a front end builder
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Many of the features added in the theme after that update are available only if the tagDiv composer is used. Including the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Here you can see the cloud templates live, preview them and even edit theme with our composer
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
Any of these can be imported and used, only with the tagDiv composer.

We recommend the tagDiv composer, it will receive many more features in the future. Also you can benefit from the cloud templates.

WPBakery will still be provided in the theme package and updated when the theme is updated.

Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

The screenshot link you provided doesn’t work unfortunately
https://www.screencast.com/t/iaWyb1XOP
What exactly is the problem you are having? Please try and specify more details for a better understanding.

Thanks

Simion C.

Hi,

I see the problem, it also affect this block title, maybe others
https://www.screencast.com/t/MIQSERliH
The titles are there is both cases, but are invisible due to a white background color
https://www.screencast.com/t/t68Pdv8rLTsg

Did you maybe set a white background color in the general header settings?
https://www.screencast.com/t/IrtOqMeldI9
Please try to clear it or set a different color and check again.

Hi,

At the moment if you want to use AMP for pages, the pages will have to be built with the simple WordPress editor only (no page builder content).

This may change in the future from what I know, when the base AMP plugin will be updated (version 1).

Thanks

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

@solokco
That would happen if you deactivate the tagDiv composer and the headers style was set to a multi-purpose style. Try to set a different header style in the theme panel and check again. The problems should be solved.

Thanks
