Hi,

I will take a look, but it seems I cannot access your website at the moment
https://www.screencast.com/t/VFyltr8t
Let me know when that will be possible.

Thanks

I suggest you also contact your hosting provider, ask them to have a look if possible. Installing plugins should not provide server errors. maybe they can identify why that is happening. I believe insufficient WP memory could cause such problems.

Hi,

That is unusual. I could give you a code to center it
https://www.screencast.com/t/1Sey4oWslk

.td-header-style-10 .td-header-sp-recs {
text-align:center;
}

The code can be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS.

Hi,

From what I can see the website looks like this at the moment
https://www.screencast.com/t/oBXjiN1arx
Please check if the tagDiv composer plugin is active. Also temporarily deactivate the minification or caching plugin you are using. Then check if the theme and mobile theme are working properly.
The most common problem with the mobile theme is caching plugins. We recommend the WP super cache to be used if possible.

Thanks

Hi,

If you activated the plugin, it will appear in the tagDiv composer element list. More about that in this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
So it can be used everywhere the tagDiv composer can be used.

Thanks

Hi,

What exactly do you mean by that? You could try to add that Pixel code as mentioned here
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-install-facebook-remarketingretargeting-pixel-in-wordpress/

Try with a plugin, or access the theme files with the WordPress editor and add them manually.

Thanks

Hi,

I could take a look, accessing an author page should not be a problem. Provide a link to your website. Does that happen with a default WordPress theme, could you check that?

Also deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins and clear the cache again, check if that has any effect.

Thanks

Hi,

Ads cannot be disabled on specific posts or pages. Once entered in the theme panel ad spots they will be displayed at all times. They can only be disabled by device
https://www.screencast.com/t/tMZQsVie
If you require more advanced ad options, many users recommend the Adrotate plugin. Based on user feedback this works with the theme, more about it here if you want to take a look
http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/

The mobile menu will be accessible when the page is fully loaded. So if the page takes a long time to load, the menu may not respond. Our demo would be for demo purposes, we will try to optimize it more however.

Thanks

Hi,

Does that happen only with those scripts? try to enter a simple text and see if that saves. Open the browser inspector console – https://www.screencast.com/t/ezQ3xvGoaTc
Any potential errors will display there. Try to save again and see if anything is displayed in the console.

Also be sure to review the theme requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Thanks

Hi,

That is specific to the Craft demo, an image is used as a background of the block titles. These would be some similar topics, they mention how to change it or remove it
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-achieve-this-effect/
Placing an image as a block title background is not a theme option, but that demo contains design that allows this.

Hi,

Installing a demo will import it’s specific theme panel settings, custom design etc. Unless you made an export of the theme panel settings or a general website backup, there would be no way to return the previous settings
https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Glad you could sort it out in the end.

Hi,

1. Don’t know about that, we made no tests with that plugin. Maybe check with the plugin authors if that happens only with that specific plugin.

We also provide an AMP plugin in the theme package, it is a simple plugin offering basic AMP functionality. In the future it will receive more features
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

2. Then there is a general problem if you can’t install any plugin. Check with your hosting provider and ask them to take a look. Also check the theme requirements guide and make sure there are sufficient resources
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

3. We provide a mobile theme plugin, which should improve the mobile performance. More about that here, if you would consider to use it
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Of course speed is influenced by many other factors, website optimization takes a lot of work.

Thanks

Hi,

The best way would be to simply install the demo
https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
This will import theme panel settings and custom design specific to the demo. If you install it with demo content, the homepage will be provided.

If you do not want to install the demo, you could try to re-create. We have no guide for that at the moment however. These would be some similar topics
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/getting-started-from-demo-best-practises/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wish-about-the-demo/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-it-possible-to-change-the-website-demo-from-one-to-another/

If you have any problems or this is not what you meant, please provide some more details about what exactly is not working or if you are not sure of something, and I will help you.

Thanks

Hi,

I would have no idea how that could be done. If you are importing the posts and also the images on your new install maybe, then wouldn’t they function same as before in the post content, with the same plugin?

Hi,

1. Are there other problems with saving settings or only with the fonts? Open the browser inspector console and then make the settings again and save. Any potential errors will be displayed there
https://www.screencast.com/t/jcjiOCc0zO

2. That should not happen. I tested this again
https://www.screencast.com/t/WUxQ82wibKS
https://www.screencast.com/t/nTY6IQOqI
Note that other elements such as plugins also can load fonts or maybe custom code used, not only the theme. Make tests to identify what is loading those fonts.

thanks

Hi,

What exactly do you mean by entry record? Maybe it could be removed with CSS. I will try to give you a solution if possible.

Hi,

What exactly do you want to do? The hamburger icon is displayed on mobile as an option to open the mobile menu modal window. On pages it is available as an icon

Hi,

Only the header logo can be clicked and direct to the homepage, the background cannot. Set a header logo and users can click on it for a homepage link.

If you want to maybe use that image as logo, use header styles with no image limit (9,10 or 11)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/

Hi,

The empty page template was officially added in theme update 8.5. So in your version it is not available. You should consider to update, see here how many new additions and fixes were made since 8.1 to 8.8.2
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Check the Changelog at the bottom of the page. This is an update guide if you consider updating
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Thanks

Hi,

So you click on the tagDiv composer button and nothing happens? Please check the theme requirements guide and the theme system status panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed contact your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources. Let us know if there still is a problem after you make modifications. We recommend that only one page builder should be used, either the tagDiv composer or WPBakery. When both are active there could be problems.

Thanks

Hi,

You could stretch them with CSS. I believe adding those classes will load the theme CSS just as if you used the composer, how are you adding them exactly?

Also you can maybe identify the containers that the plugin uses, stretch them. Theme stretches rows like this to full width for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/DmqeRaClGaYN

If you want these modifications per page, that would be possible only if you somehow use the unique page ID class before your code
Each page has an ID, example – https://www.screencast.com/t/yVEVtDJoe1

The header and footer elements can be stretched in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/W2Tl0Tt4i

Hi,

The settings are there in the composer, the documentation is not updated however. There are plans to include the new settings in a remake of the guide you mention.

So all blocks that display excerpts have excerpt settings for each module
https://www.screencast.com/t/IAoRufENKaZ
Sorry for any inconvenience.

The theme panel settings are general, the settings in the composer have priority over those.

Thanks

Simion C.

Hi,

That is defined in the theme in this file
https://www.screencast.com/t/skem0lGo
If you want to make modifications to the post formats, make them there. I believe this was a decision made when the theme was created, there must have been a reason for it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks
