Hi,

Please try as a first step to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed then check to see if the widgets are displaying properly. I have not seen this problem before, if you insert a widget in the sidebar only once – https://www.screencast.com/t/wgQ7sBI24MTs I do not know why it would display twice. The widgets are not completely the same however – https://www.screencast.com/t/gtfwABXqKk
Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme files, or through a child theme if you use one. This issue is not happening on my end using only the plugins provided in the theme package, so maybe this is a result of a plugin conflict or theme modifications. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks

Hi,

Maybe it should be best if you inquire about these server problems with the hosting you currently are using. Perhaps they could have a better answer related tho the errors.
These are the theme requirements for the server
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
And modifications made to these parameters if needed, according to this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Hi,

If you are referring to the full image that is being displayed when you click on it, I believe that is the way it displays. It shows the full sized image. You can select a different option in the single image settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/5FMOCo3b
Or just use the theme modal image option, that displays the images using this feature when clicked
https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/

Hi,

I have inspected your website but there are no errors present. However this issue is present on the post you mention. On all the other posts there is no problem from what I can see. Please try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and check to see if the problem is still there. This way you will know if a plugin is interfering with the theme and causing this problem. It is intriguing because this happens only on that particular post.
I have tested this functionality and it is working properly on my end.
Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks

Hi,

The search function should be present in the header menu by default. I see that you are missing the search icon on your website. Please check if you have any custom code in the theme panel, or added directly to the theme files regarding the header, or search functionality.
Also you could try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer and clear any caching installed. Then check to see if the search is present.

Thanks

Hi,

I have tested this using the custom structure you mentioned and it works properly. I do not get any errors of any kind. Maybe the problem is somewhere else, not this modification. If you could provide a link to your website pointing to this problem, I will inspect it.
You could try as a test to disable all plugins except Visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hi,

More information in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-create-a-google-custom-search-page/ if you would like to implement something like that.

Hi,

If you want to add more custom ad spots, you will have to edit the td_config.phpfile
https://www.screencast.com/t/qW11XA2B
And register your new custom ad code in two places, like this
http://screencast.com/t/drqt26uCI
Please be careful when implementing the new ad in the respective file, and use proper code syntax. Look at the other already defined custom ads and create the new one.

Hi,

If you set the number to 10 the number of posts will display accordingly. Please make sure you have posts in the respective category to display. There is no limit for the posts in the category page, except the setting mentioned.

Hi,

@angellkarina
You just have to enter the code as instructed in the topic provided above. Please follow the example and enter the code in the theme functions.php file, by using a text editor. Try clearing any caching installed if after entering the code, the feature is not working as intended.

Hi,

I have tested this with a number of categories and the feature is working properly. The setting set for the global category template are inherited by the categories using the default option. If you could provide a link to your website I will inspect it and see if there is anything wrong.

Bug - reply

Hi,

The theme is already responsive and will adapt to every device screen sizes. Exceptions can happen if you insert fixed sized elements in the post content, in which case the theme may not resize it accordingly. I have inspected some of your posts, but I do not see any problems with the content.

Hi,

I have inspected your website but I do not see this problem at the moment
https://www.screencast.com/t/5yNc6CuDU
https://www.screencast.com/t/us20kPFsD
https://www.screencast.com/t/LDflxvnLt1z
If it is an intermittent problem, and you are using WP Super Cache you can try the solution provided in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-issues-5/
Hopefully this will be fixed in future updates for the caching plugin.

Hi,

From what I understand some changes you make to the text blocks are not saving properly. When you add the content in the text block and save it, then make changes to other parts of the page structure, the settings are not remaining.
I suggest you check the theme status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This could be why some changes you are making are not saving as intended.
Please correct me if I misunderstand the problem.

Hi,

If you are using the mobile theme plugin, content for the pages will have to be entered in the Mobile editor
https://www.screencast.com/t/gam9IajJmq
The editor is located in the same page edit screen, at the bottom. If you decide not to use the mobile theme, then the same content you have on desktop will be displayed on mobile. More information about the mobile theme and how it works here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hi,

You could use a different post template style, that displays a smaller featured image
https://www.screencast.com/t/dZm7x3Foiwjp
The featured image used in this post template does not have a limit and displays the image based on the full theme width – https://www.screencast.com/t/NSalEio6p
It would not be easy to change the way the featured image size, this would require modifications to all the other elements like the post title, category tag etc. If you were to set a height limit on the image the result will look like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/zgQ2ZyW40 or like this if you set the limit on the div containing the image – https://www.screencast.com/t/drJ0a2kSOZ9
Maybe you could modify the images used before setting them as featured, in a image editor.

Hi,

The URL for the block should direct to the address you want if the link is valid. If you want to direct the block title to the category page enter the address of the category
https://www.screencast.com/t/JXLtuaIFT8S
https://www.screencast.com/t/pP7txumnYzU
The current link you entered is not valid from what I can tell
https://www.screencast.com/t/TqFpOBGpvhttps://www.screencast.com/t/4fiXSOCttsk
Try creating a test page and enter a test address to see if it directs as intended, like google.com for example.
If this is not working, maybe there is a plugin or custom code that is affecting this. You could try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, as a test and see if it works properly.

Hi,

The top bar is not available for mobile. However, if you could provide a link to your website I will try and give you a solution, to make it display as you want. This is required in order to be sure that the solution applies and works properly.

Hi,

The social counter issue with the token not being generated was fixed. Please download the latest theme package and update the plugins provided accordingly. Then try and configure the social counter again, using this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Before you begin, it is very important that you clear your browser cache. Example for chrome –
https://www.screencast.com/t/f9Q66lPx1fY
After successfully setting up the social counter, clear any caching installed if you are using it. Please note that there could also be some delay for the data to refresh.

Hi,

Try adding the image for the post like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/v5QTmSxv
This should override any image used at the moment, and display the one set there. After setting the image you want, please clear your cache. It should work properly then. Also the plugin that you seem to be using for sharing could need further configuration, maybe it is the cause. Try using the default sharing as a test.

Thanks

Hi,

I have refreshed the pages you provided multiple times, but I did not see this space appear
https://www.screencast.com/t/5iegUA0P8qdW
If the problem is still happening, please check if you have entered custom code in the theme panel, or added directly to the theme files. Also this might be caused by a plugin, so you could try to disable them all except the ones provided with the theme, and check to see if it is still happening.

Thanks

Hi,

The theme does not have any options regarding the meta tags and meta descriptions. This tags are generated by plugins with SEO functionality, like the plugin provided above. It would be best to use this plugin to configure your website SEO, for best results in this matter.

Hi,

You can use the Advanced Css fields available in the theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/ltTmlleFr
There you could enter your custom code based on the different device selection. For example if you would like to change the block title font size on phones, you could do it like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/SbPpRNqBH
You can identify the text or element you want to customize using the browser inspector
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Then you can create custom code and enter it in the theme panel, in order to make these modifications.

Hi,

The more articles box is available only for article page, and picks related posts based on the settings. It is not available for pages. These are the only available options and settings for the more articles box, at the moment – https://forum.tagdiv.com/more-articles-box/

Hi,

Please note that we have not tested any plugins with those capabilities. Maybe it is simply no compatible or you are not configuring it properly. I could not say why it transforms the text like that, because I don’t know how the plugin works. Try reading the plugin documentation or go through the settings again.

Thanks
