Hi,

As Chris stated you need to update your VC plugin from the /plugins folder that was provided with the theme files and use this guide to install/update it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Please also note the following:

The theme includes a license for this plugin so you don’t have to buy it.
You don’t have to activate the plugin license, it’s already activated.
You can’t update the plugin directly from the it’s producer.
You don’t have to worry about the plugin update warnings.
We provide updates on a regular basis, after we test the plugin for theme compatibility we include it in the latest theme update, inside the ../plugins folder

Also please note that we will release an update with the new version of VC as soon as they will fix issues that apparently they have with the current version: http://screencast.com/t/MhULCZhfr
You can see their forum for more info: http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments?page=332

Thanks

Hi,

That line changes based on the screen width you have and it has been added there to help you get a preview of your post depending on the width of the screen in which you view/preview your post.
You can change it by altering it’s css here: http://screencast.com/t/WE4OrojndgTU

Hi,

@OnlineThemes
If you sue WordPress 4.1 please make sure you use the latest theme version (1.4) and the VC plugin version (4.3.5) and also test this without and plugins active and also empty cache/purge files if you use CDN then tested again. I have tested this and found no issues so it should work fine in your case also.
Please let me know how it goes and also provide your site’s URL.

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option for this and you would need additional customization for it. If you need it you can get some to help you with this and alter the slider css as you like, it’s not an easy task and you would need custom work for that which we cannot provide at this time as we work on updates/development and support. I suggest you to get someone to help you with this if you need it and don’t know to do it.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

Glad you have managed to figure this out! I have also added this on our todo list so we will take a look at it and test it and try to implement it in future updates.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

Photon delivers the image based on container’s size and it doesn’t take into account the js used to add the modal view. I don’t know if there is an easy solution for this we will take a look at this though.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

@Teejoow
Please let me know if you refer to theme’s activation or VC plugin activation provide more details about this. If you refer to theme’s activation key then you can use your purchase code for each project without receiving an error for the VC plugin though you need to update following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ as we include the VC plugin within each theme update if there is an available update for it so you don’t need to buy it or you don’t need any license key: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-update-visual-composer-2/

Thanks

Hi,

I suggest you use the browser’s console to track the code that causes your issues. We haven’t tested the theme using this plugin so I can’t offer you any advices on this.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi,

The tagdiv speed booster plugin helps you moves the scripts and style sheets to the footer, which it does as the scripts and css files are moved to the footer: http://screencast.com/t/CBZegf9dXiF doing this should also remove the “render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content” notification from your site’s test which it’s also happening: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fgossip.knews.it%2F&tab=desktop the only file that causes this issue is now the theme’s css file which is left at the top intentionally as moving it to the footer cases issues so is best to leave it at the top despite the speed test notification.
You can also see this “Optimize CSS Delivery” notification on our demo site also: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdemo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewsmag%2F&tab=desktop

Thanks

Hi,

I believe you refer to the Visual Composer issues which appears with older versions of VC when updating WordPress to 4.1
I have noticed while checking your site that you use the latest theme version (1.4) and the 4.3.4 version of VC which can cause this.
This issue appears because of the Visual Composer plugin when updating to WordPress 4.1. We have included the fixed version of the plugin(4.3.5) within the latest theme version so please make sure you update the Visual Composer plugin from the /plugins folder using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Please let me know how it goes!

Thanks

Hi,

We have this on our todo list and unfortunately we are still investigating this as your case is a unique one, hopefully we will manage to fix it in next theme versions.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and thanks for understanding!

Hi,

1. We will consider this, I have added this on our requests list and if more people will ask for it we will do it.
2. We also have this on our requests lists and we will consider it.
3. We will add this in next update, already have it on out todo list.
4. You can add this manually for all links just add the “_blank” target attribute for all anchor tags that you want to open in a new window, for author box social icons add it like this and replace the td_a_target variable: http://screencast.com/t/BjqbrZkE7CCE
5. I will add your request on our request list and consider it for future updates if more people request this. If you need this I suggest you use a plugin for it.
6. You can use this solution for this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/related-posts-within-a-post/
7. You can remove the Pinterest share button from here: http://screencast.com/t/xaD8W4o2dwvU

Please provide more details about the smart list ascending/descending issue as I have tested this and haven’t found any issues.

Thanks

Hi Chris!

You need to add a condition for those header styles like this:

header style 7: http://screencast.com/t/gQXxhF1ZDSsy
header style 8: http://screencast.com/t/SuThTwZc

Here is the condition I’ve used: http://pastebin.com/w0mgLNFF

Hi,

To alter the animation for show/load more you need to change the html/js/css for it and implement your gif image, unfortunately this is not easy and you need custom work for it.
You can find the js code for the loader animation here: http://screencast.com/t/9RxzFZ4gxu0S and if you really need to change it I suggest you get some to help you with it.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

You can use your browser’s zoom option: http://screencast.com/t/SVEN5wli0M8 Doesn’t that help?

Hi,

There is no option within the theme to specifically select posts to be added to a widget or block so you need to set a tag to those posts you need inside that widget then use the tag filter to get those posts to the widget.
ex:
* http://screencast.com/t/8Yui3Xckr
* http://screencast.com/t/TKqbDzrkws
result: http://screencast.com/t/sfiIgd4St6

Thanks

Hi,

You don’t need a plugin, the editor which you have in the backend, that is TinyMCE editor: http://screencast.com/t/uFh0TeJ7iVI9

Thanks

Lucian

Hi,

The files mentioned in the test are loaded from CDN: http://screencast.com/t/Q0iIkIob9KyL so please make sure you check this without any plugin active, lave just the Visual Composer active, empty cache/purge files and test again.
If you check your page source then you will noticed that all those files are moved to the footer: http://screencast.com/t/hIHlsCxxYlr

Thanks
