Hi,

That code is used for the author box feature which you can use on the posts. We will investigate and fix it in future versions but we cannot remove it as others use it.
You can use the child theme to edit the file and remove that code in your case or edit the file after each update and remove it.

The tag filter from blocks is the best option to build a page “defined by certain tag” as when you add the tag that you’ve used in the filter to a post the that post will be added to that page which contains the block that you’ve customized to show posts containing that tag.
Unfortunately you can’t link the posts that use a specific tag with a specific VC built page. The tags will always lead to the tag page which cannot be built via VC page builder.
You could create and use a category page for those posts and build the category page like you would want to do it for a tag. Unfortunately it case of the category page as for the tag page it can’t be built via VC but you have have more customization for the category page than for the tag page: http://screencast.com/t/e1HdWwfh2

Please make sure that this also happens without any other plugins active/ empty cache/ purge files then check your browsers console for errors as those features work based on js so make sure that you don’t have any js conflicts.
Please make sure you try this and let me know how it goes and also provide your site’s URL so I can also check this as I haven’t been able to recreate this using the latest theme version (4.6.1).

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option for this and you would need additional customization for it. If you need it you can get some to help you with this and alter the slider’s css as you like, it’s not an easy task and you would need custom work for that which we cannot provide at this time as we work on updates/development and support. You could try an alternative to that plugin if you need it or address the matter to plugin author also maybe they can help you make it work together with the theme.
The post counter and the ajax next/prev post pagination work based on js so I suggest you check your console for js errors and also check this without any plugins active just the VC and speed booster plugin as the speed booster plugin moves scripts and style sheets to the bottom of the page and this could cause conflicts when used with other plugins.
Please make sure you try this and let me know how it goes and also provide your site’s URL.

This means that after your posts go trough the query filers there aren’t any posts left to display and no post is loaded or the code is broken.
Either way I suggest you download and update your theme to the latest version which is 4.6.1 then check again. To update your theme please make sure that you make a backup of your current theme installation then use the FTP method from this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ and also update the VC plugin within the /plugins folder following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
