Yes, the update is free. You can go on your Envato account and download the update. Here you can find more information about how to update the theme: https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ Take note that the latest updates of the theme are important and you have to make a clean install from scratch. Also remember to update and activate the plugins. Now the theme also requires to have the tagDiv Composer updated and active.

This can be a plugin conflict, please make sure that you do not have one. Also please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

If you are referring to the email sent to users after they register, note that the theme itself has no email options. It does not have any settings for mailing confirmations or sending any emails to users. You will have to manage these either through the hosting if they provide such a service, or with a plugin

Unfortunately there is an issue from facebook due to their api changes. At the moment you can add videos from facebook by following these steps:

1. Get to your video and click on the 3 dots like shown in the picture:

There were similar reports by a few users, we will make some more tests in this matter. Currently there is an issue with Facebook videos, but YouTube videos should work the same as before. I tested multiple videos, and found no problem with this.

On the homepage you have a sidebar made with tagdiv composer and in post page you have a sidebar wich is made from widgets. In order to have the sidebar from your homepage on every page you have to add a single post template from the cloud library and edit that with the tagDiv Composer.
