You can use single post image element as you can see here and by setting the post format to be Video: https://www.screencast.com/t/uACgaxPcAId9 ; By setting up your post template with Singe Post Featured Image element: https://www.screencast.com/t/63Q8SFOK
If you set all the post templates to have that element all your publishers have to do is to set the post format to video.

On Custom Post Types this option is not available in Newspaper Theme. You can fix this by trying some external plugins. Unfortunately we have not tested any in this matter so we cannot recommend any.

Please look for a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins except tagDiv ones. Also make sure that you are running the latest theme and plugin version.
