You could create another page and don’t use ads on it (page content). But it depends on which ads you are talking about. A header ad for example will display on the whole website, it cannot be removed on a specific page. You could try an ad management plugin, that has the option to choose where the ads will display.
Some users here on the forum are using the Adrotate plugin, with good results i this matter.

Post template style 7 seems to be similar to the layout you mention. The sidebar can be disabled for posts as well. As for the post content width there is no default option to modify it. That could be done only by using some CSS. Like this for example (no sidebar used)

When a sidebar is used the post content width is 696px, and without a sidebar it is 1068px.

You will not be able to show the excerpt for these posts, but you can use a single image element to highlight the featured image and to type in the title of the post and then link the image to the external post by using the tagdiv composer and the image box element. Yes that option hides the category tag on both posts and category pages. If you enable it, the respective category will not be displayed in both locations. Try enabling it and then modify this file from the theme

Now that that hidden category tag will remain hidden on posts, and it should display on the category pages.
For the modules it is not easy to do what you want. Changes to these modules will affect all the website. Their default behavior is to get the main category of a post, or the primary one that overrides this. If you would like them to exclude a certain category tag while displaying the post, and display a different category without setting a primary category, it will have to be made custom. I suggest you consider hiring a freelancer or developer to make these modifications, because we cannot provide this level of custom work at the moment, sorry.

Hi. I’m just starting newsmag but for every code I put in the header ads place, I cannot see anything in the browser.
the code I put is for example

Just to note I’ve used FB IA for the last year (on and off not all posts of course)
However I code them manually, you can’t have the beauty of FB IA through RSS (which I assume you’re using?) – so for some posts I code in FB – thats when you can remove these errors…
I’m not sure any theme can guarantee all code sent through vis RSS meets FB IA requirements, just like it may not for AMP without plugin help
Just ideas, I’m sure the authors will also respond

no errors at all (other than i can´t activate it which i reported on another post).
it has been a long weekend of battle against the theme, but i´m pretty well there now. some specific quirks still outstanding.
i can´t get any full grid to work for example so i´ve had to go boxed. doing my best to go with the tag div composer, but i´m really not feeling it.
worst of it is that despite having less on homepage now than in old theme, my pagespeed has slumped from 85 to 58 desktop – and the 58 is having worked super cache settings beyond your theme recommended which were giving me 51.
my feedback is that some more realistic notes would be better. the video and docs give the impression that the upgrade/switch and a new demo is a job to complete in minutes. It is hugely more complicated than that. It is a set aside a weekend job – and a good 10 hours of that could have been avoided with better documentation, a coherent start to finish tutorial instead of scattered docs and videos which leave you coming across essential info that you had no way of knowing existed until something goes wrong and you start hunting.
I hope you´ll take that to whoever decides these things at td
Please note, the theme doesn’t seem to be honoring any of my filters, including limit post number” but also other things like specific categories. For example, this block is set to display only specific category of “Ask the Oracle” but it is clearly showing posts from the category”Recipes.” So, it is set to a category filter of ID 4, but is actually only showing the 3 latest posts that don’t have that ID at all.

Hello, I am having an issue where no matter what grid I am using and how many ways I change it, the “limit post number” functionality is not working. For example, under a Big Grid 8 box, I want to use a “Block 12” block to set the 2 most recent posts from a specific category. No matter what variations I try, it always shows 5 posts. If I set it to 2 and then go to view the live page, 5 are shown and then when I re-open the TD editor, the “Limit Post Number” field is back to 5… My changes won’t stick or work:

Hi,
The Export/Import feature affects only the options in the theme panel. It is useful when you are moving your website for example, then you simply copy the code from the respective section and import the settings on the new install. Or for periodic backups maybe.

The website is CuteBabyAntReviews.com. It is temporarily open so that you can assess it. I currently have 3 Main colors (pink, green, and blue). I would like to be able to make the buttons for “Read more” and other sidebar buttons and titles (orangish and aqua colored) match the rest of the site. Perhaps I could have gotten away with the orangish colored buttons, but the aqua definitely contrasts too much. So, would you be able to help with these, instead of me changing to a different demo since I’ve already put time into it? Thank you. Side question: If I changed demos, I would have to redo settings including logo & favicon uploads and colors, right?
i cant find the TD composer full options, for an example i only can see up to 7/8 blocks…i cant see any social media links under css option (according to your 3 min tutorials)

Thanks for explaining all of this so thoroughly. There is just one problem…when I assign “primary categories” for all of the posts which have multiple categories, then when I go to the categories page, the block only displays tags of the primary category. So for example, on the categories page, when you are looking at the Music category (http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/category/music/), you see that the post “Nashville music’s John Mays gives his thoughts on showing creativity” shows only it’s primary category tag “Prose.” So it looks like it’s in the wrong place…a Prose article on the Music page.
I notice that when a post with multiple categories has NOT been assigned a primary category, then its tag follows the category page. For example, this post (http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/this-weeks-featured-artist-tim-carr-talks-photography-and-24-hours-in-havana/) is in categories: Gallery, Get Inspired, Making a Difference, Photography, and Prose. The Gallery tag is blocked, using your code. (Thank you!) There has NOT been a primary category assigned to this post. So when you go to the Get Inspired category page (http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/category/get-inspired/), the tag on the article shows “Get Inspired”. When you go to the Making A Difference category page (http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/category/making-a-difference/), the tag on the article shows “Making A Difference”. And so on with the Photography category page (http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/category/photography/) and the Prose category page (http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/category/prose/). So the article looks like it’s in the right place…it shows the tag of the category page that it’s on.
How can we fix this? How can we make each article NOT show the Gallery tag (and I am happy to choose a primary category for each article) but still show the appropriate tags on each category page? Thanks so much!
