I believe it’s something wrong with your ad code as the wp default text widget isn’t displaying anything either:

Try to make sure that your code runs well, use a default wp theme for example and if you have it working and still face issues when using it in our theme let us know and we will take a closer look at this.

Please keep in mind that the block buttons are made them with some custom rule. Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option for this and also, notice that this type of plugin is not tested with the theme and we have no idea about the theme behavior with this kind of plugin, sorry! Notice that we cannot provide support implementation for untested plugins, sorry! So, if you want to integrate this plugin into our theme, you should do it manually. The simplest way to do this is to use a block which is sorted by latest articles and then, using the do_shoercode method you have to edit the file corresponding to post template used by you. For example, if you are using the post template style 1 you should edit the loop-single-1.php -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hzIXdkGPs54 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/MBVFnZOWvKRa

If you want to add the “Custom Ad 1”, you should use the do_shortcode method and place it in theme core file corresponding to post template used by you. For example, if you are using the post template style 1, you should use the following steps in order to achieve as you wish. This is the code – make sure you have an ad code placed in Theme panel->Ads->Custom ad 1 – https://www.screencast.com/t/Mw29z93l9 and then using this snippet of the code
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]');?> you should add it in loop-single-1.php, where exactly you want to display the add, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/eyu4sGgDh

A posibility is to remove Latest Articles – https://www.screencast.com/t/P8dmRWKwIZsV and replace it with a block (named Latest Articles) and set a Load More button – https://www.screencast.com/t/hH4xAwBRa pagination to it
Then you can apply some custom css on the button if you want to, here is an example where i used block 11 named Latest articles with the sort order set to latest – https://www.screencast.com/t/iOkXZjzJXma and applied some css customization – https://www.screencast.com/t/nnjp4Q7717g4
